I have been to Lake Laceno several times, without having lunch. While searching I found this family-run barbecue place (this allows them to reduce part of the costs), where they also serve first courses, as well as having a really well-stocked butcher's shop, and (not recently) they also have dry-aged meat in their carnet. . The butcher's shop turns 40 in business this year, and they are both producers and sellers, in fact the meat they sell comes from their own farms. In this case we can truly say zero kilometer meat (as well as quality). Well, after this premise, let's talk about the meat.... From the outside the place is a bit anonymous, with the butcher's shop next door, but once you enter the door, a room opens up, not too big, but very welcoming, well furnished, with a small wine cellar on view, very clean (something not to be underestimated), the staff welcomes you and shows you where to sit (I'll start by saying that we had booked because, being a public holiday, we didn't know if there would be a free place. I recommend to book 😄), I must say that all the staff were really polite, friendly, and last but not least kind. We took a house appetizer for two, where the cured meats are all handmade by them, nothing industrial (a note about the raw ham to preserve it better before maturing, they smoke it), then we continued with a first course, paccheri with sausage ragù, porcini mushrooms, sprinkled with local cheese, and fresh truffle (not those industrial sauces), a cut, with porcini mushrooms, and some desserts (I recommend the chestnut tart if there is one). The desserts are all made by them, nothing bought from third parties. The first course had all the aromas of the mountain, the truffle was expertly placed so as not to overpower the other flavours, the pasta was cooked perfectly and the porcini mushrooms were fresh, not defrosted. The second course, the steak, the meat was very fresh also because he went to the butcher's shop to get the entrecote and grilled it on the exposed grill, the meat was very tender and cooked really perfectly. We also tasted some of the sausage they make, with spicy chilli, really excellent. The griller also let me taste a piece of ribeye, waaauuu!!!!!!!!!!! The next time I go it will be for the barbecue department 💯. The quality/price ratio is super super super... Final considerations, in addition to the grill and the butcher's shop, they also have rooms available for overnight stays. The place is welcoming and very clean, the staff are really good and attentive to the customer, the food is of excellent quality, well processed by the chef, the meat cooked well by the griller. Highly recommended, if you are in the area go you will not be disappointed, it will be a pleasant gastronomic experience, more than just a simple meal. Well done, never change, you are one of the best clubs in the area.

Bravi.
