Unmatched price quality. Very extensive gluten-free menu for celiacs. We were celebrating an event and therefore the menu had been pre-established but also the dishes from the à la carte menu that we saw passing by were very inviting. We started with a centerpiece appetizer with a rich selection of local cured meats and cheeses and 2/3 hot courses. The two first courses, half a pacchero with yellow datterino tomatoes and provola and ricotta ravioli with pistachio cream, well executed and with quality ingredients. We completed it with one of their specialties, namely sliced veal served on a stone of salt and Ravece oil, a meat you absolutely must try. Very kind staff

It is the perfect restaurant to celebrate Irpinia, which traces the rituals of peasant culture with refined gastronomic proposals, strictly based on selected local raw materials.
The mallone, the copper onion, the podolica meats, the mushrooms, the truffles, the robust red wine. Much more cooked with skill and passion.
Food resulting from the harshness of the internal areas where the culture of the Mediterranean diet has been expressed for centuries, generating health and longevity in the woods.
There were many surprises from the skills of the chef at La Vecchia Casa, crowned by the genius in the tiramisu broken down to the coffee machine.
A pleasure not to be missed.

The meat and cured meats are a poem... the professionalism of Rino the owner/chef is top. Follow his advice and you will enjoy sensational meat. The staff is very welcoming and familiar. Excellent price/quality ratio. Highly recommended!

Tornati a distanza di qualche anno in questa caratteristica taverna dell’avellinese, i tanti km di distanza da Napoli sono stati ben ripagati grazie ad una cena perfetta. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto misto con tagliere salumi e formaggi, accompagnati da miele e marmellate. Alcuni assaggi di antipasti caldi anche ben impiattati. A seguire una t-bone grande e tenere servita con pietra di sale per modificarne a piacimento la cottura. Bella e varia selezioni di vini sia locali che non. Davvero una bella serata. Locale consigliato
