11/11/2025: Delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful, it looks like a family restaurant with tradition. The service is top-notch, excellent, and atmospheric. The food was served very quickly. We had pasta with the fish of the day and the fish of the day. Fresh and delicious. The tiramisu for dessert was very tasty. Along with the house wine. For two people, the total cost was 70 euros. The restaurant needs at least a Michelin recommendation – it's definitely deserved!

04/10/2025: Overall, a very positive experience. The fish was truly excellent, expertly and tastefully cooked by the chef. The restaurant is bright and pleasant, and the service was attentive and friendly. The only thing that left me perplexed was the management of the main courses: they were served at different times, and I find it unfair that one person starts eating while the other waits. The coordination in the kitchen could be improved. That said, I left completely satisfied.

09/11/2025: We went to a cafe in Positano—it was a decent place overall, but my impressions were mixed. I ordered pasta with lobster—it was my first time trying lobster. They gave me special utensils, but I didn't know how to use them. Unfortunately, the waiters didn't explain how to use them, and it felt like they were just watching from the sidelines. It was a bit awkward. My boyfriend and our friend had delicious food—especially the shrimp. The tomato salad was pretty average, nothing special. We sat outside, but without a great view—tables with a view were literally being filled every minute, and we were just unlucky. Overall, the food was good, but I would have liked more attention and involvement from the staff, especially when the guest is experiencing something new. Il ristorante è carino, il cibo nel complesso buono. Ho ordinato la pasta con l'aragosta - era la prima volta che la provavo, ma purtroppo nessuno mi ha spiegato come usare gli utensili. Mi sono sentita un po’ a disagio, sarebbe stato bello ricevere un piccolo aiuto. I piatti del mio ragazzo e del nostro amico erano buoni, specialmente i gamberi. Abbiamo mangiato fuori, ma purtroppo senza vista, i tavoli migliori erano sempre occupati. Nel complesso un’esperienza discreta, ma con un po’ più di attenzione ai clienti sarebbe stato molto meglio. 🌸

The dining room staff made our day even more wonderful, pampering us from start to finish. The food was stellar, nothing more to say. 01/11/2025: This restaurant probably doesn't need yet another five-star review, but we're writing one regardless, because perfection deserves to be emphasized. First and foremost, of course, is the cuisine: research, creativity, and local ingredients blend to bring something new and original to the table, while still respecting traditional flavors. The dining room is also impeccable: Anna and Dodo are not only exemplary professionals, but true enthusiasts of fine dining in its entirety, as well as the chef's unique interpretation of it in this gem of a restaurant. The end result is a new and unique experience, yet one that never lets you forget the region you're in, both in terms of the quality of the food and the warmth and passion conveyed to the diners. Bravo! We wish you a second star; it would be well deserved!

06/11/2025: He's way too pushy. His dessert tastes like laundry detergent and costs €5 each even though it wasn't ordered. And just for the seat, it costs €2. The pizza was mediocre and the service very unfriendly. And the plates are plastic!

04/11/2025: Excellent pizza place next door to the instagram famous Michele Pizza. The pizza was excellent, the owner and pizzaiolo are quite nice and chatty and put an extra effort to welcome people into their business. They really deserve the visit, so if you want to avoid waiting for hours at Michele's just come pay a visit to Pizza e Spritz !

27/09/2025: Very attentive and friendly staff, intimate setting, open kitchen, and beautifully executed dishes. The chef offered us a pre-appetizer and pre-dessert, something we'd never experienced before...

17/10/2025: This was our first time at Borgo 50, and I have to say we had a great time. Let's start with a perfect factor: ample parking, which is crucial in this area. Next, the location isn't the biggest, but it's truly beautiful, a bit old-fashioned with a touch of modernity. Next, the food: Really, really good, generous and fresh dishes, perhaps in my opinion among the best in the area. Not to mention the dessert, a delicious limoncello cream (I could have eaten spoonfuls of it until I was sick of it). The bill, honest in these times, is 2 first courses + 2 appetizers + dessert + 2 glasses of wine (€90). Obviously, it varies depending on what you order, but I think that's normal. I highly recommend it, and it's a full 5 stars!

02/11/2025: Hiking with friends. We stopped for lunch. One of the hikers had lunch there years ago and had fond memories of it. The food was excellent. Traditional cuisine, a pleasure to rediscover. Friendly staff.

17/10/2025: Good pastas and better pizzas. Loved the seafood and the cocktails. Amazingly priced and worth the walk down the steep road.

16/10/2025: Great restaurant, especially the service, the staff was very lovely. Many people here had the fish of the day dish by kg, can recommend!

05/11/2025: Dinner for two, November, weekday. As you can see in the photos, it wasn't very busy. We ordered octopus salad with potatoes and a fried platter of calamari and shrimp. The octopus salad was okay. The fried platter, cooked in old oil, only had passable calamari. The potatoes were very heavy, and the shrimp were whole, so when you removed the tails, heads, and legs, they lost their crispy texture. The atmosphere was nothing special, just average. The service was fine. I wouldn't go back, nor would I recommend it.

04/11/2025: All around the service was amazing, the waitress was super nice and kind. We only had pizza, but i can say, that based on what i saw, the food looks exactly, how it looks on the menu.

30/09/2025: A great place for both pizza and other traditional Neapolitan dishes (such as "zuppa di cozze", with mussels, octopus and tomato, or the "panariello" in the attached pictures: a basket made with pizza dough, baked and filled with linguine with seafood). A great variety of traditional and less common pizzas appears on the menu, together with many delicious starters, first and second course dishes and desserts. A nice selection of wine and beers accompanies the menu. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere and restaurant decor is very jovial. Definitely worth a visit!

18/09/2025: Excellent pizza in the Vomero district.

18/11/2025: Delicious homemade food. One of the few places in Naples where they didn't try to rip us off. The owner's son served us and was very friendly and clear throughout.

17/11/2025: The atmosphere is the true calling card of a Neapolitan trattoria: warm, homey, you feel welcomed like at your grandmother's house; the real star is the traditional home cooking, the "poor" kind, yet rich in flavor and prepared with love. Value for money: Excellent. You eat well, in abundance, and you spend just the right amount for an authentic and genuine culinary experience.

11/11/2025: A wonderful restaurant and the food is absolutely delicious. I've eaten all over Italy and this was the best.

09/11/2025: An amazing place. We went there because it was right next to the train station. We sat on the covered terrace on a cold day and were nice and warm and comfortable. The atmosphere is lovely. The waiters are professional and friendly. And the food... spectacular! The gnocchi alla Sorrentina are incredible. The desserts are also a hit!

22/10/2025: Staff and accommodations were excellent. The rooftop bar for the sunset is a must. Due to the Napoli Marathon, all the roads within a mile of the hotel were closed when we arrived. We ended up having to take the tube and then walk a mile carrying our luggage. I wish the hotel had offered some help, but maybe there was nothing they could do. When we arrived they were very gracious and even let us check in to our room at 9:45 (regular check in was 15:00). That changed the complexion of our entire experience! Thank you! 6th floor rooms don't have a balcony, so if that's important to you, take note. We were so grateful to get in so early, we didn't care.

21/10/2025: The hotel was good value but one afternoon when we returned to our room we found the door wide open. The cleaning ladies forgot to close it. Fortunately nothing was missing.
