02/03/2025: I am adding to the review because I stayed again on the night of June 9, 2024 and I confirm what is written below, nothing new. It is the first time I have written a review even though I have already been there about ten times over the years and always with a tent for 2 nights or a little more, in different periods between June and September (like this time from the 15th). I have always found a place even though it is always very busy like this time despite it being mid-September. Campsite unchanged over the years, not new in any way but functional if you are not looking for luxury. Very beautiful location, directly on the sea, as beautiful as the beach which however is quite crowded like the nearby ones. It has nothing beyond the toilets and an excellent restaurant/pizzeria/bar right on the sea, no market, entertainment or anything else. Very courteous staff both in management and in the restaurant. The pitches are all the same, covered by a sheet, and you can also keep your car there. No flies, wasps and mosquitoes. For ants, the usual precautions are enough. Outside the campsite, you just have to take the steps to reach the magnificent historic center of Tropea. From the nearby port, boats leave for trips along the coast or to the Aeolian Islands. In conclusion, I absolutely recommend it, if only for its strategic location.

31/10/2024: Camping ok, places by the sea very nice. Showers and toilets are clean but, sorry, they urgently need to be renovated. No hacks in the showers and almost all the locks are broken or missing

15/10/2024: Un bel ristorante con buon cibo, brevi tempi d'attesa, personale gentile, prezzi nella media. Gradito anche il parcheggio interno. Consigliato

21/03/2025: Ogni volta che torno da Roma e una tappa fissa tutto squisito a cominciare dall' antipasto pizza e se vuoi sia primi che secondi prezzo onestissimo a presto 👍

26/03/2025: Ristorante trovato per caso ma da subito si è capito il livello top dello stesso. Posto accoglientissimo, elegante e raffinato. Io e i miei colleghi di lavoro abbiamo optato per la pizza (quella estiva e’ strepitosa) gli altri colleghi in un altro tavolo hanno preso i primi di qualità eccezionale. Personale garbato e sempre disponibile Alla fine il dolce (zeppole) di qualità superiore . Complimenti a tutto lo staff Consigliatissimo

23/03/2025: Ci siamo goduti la serata in famiglia con ottima cucina calabrese e personale gradevole, preparato e mai assillante. Le aspettative non sono state per niente disattese. Tutto ottimo incluso la millefoglie e l’amaro del Capo Gran riserva. Torneremo sicuramente alla prima occasione. Unico rimpianto: non aver chiesto il nome di uno dei titolari che ci ha servito (ragazzotto pacato,simpatico e dal bel sorriso)

01/10/2024: After an extensive hike through the hills, we found solid cuisine here with regional specialties, fair prices and excellent service - ideal for a good lunch.

01/10/2024: After a 2.5-hour hike, we discovered the only open restaurant in the area. It was great, the food was delicious and also quite cheap compared to the prices in Vienna.

14/10/2024: It is a trattoria and must be evaluated as such. The place is very simple but spacious. On some days there is caraoke so choose or avoid according to taste. We eat homemade and traditional local dishes. The chicken cooked according to an ancient recipe is very good. The costs are low

04/04/2025: Amazing extremely well done local food, the chef cooks with the passion you want to experience. The service and interaction is that of a friend and the atmosphere is as close to what you would exspect from a small italian eatery. Absolutely amazing.

26/03/2025: This is where the cuisine comes alive. Super friendly and attentive. I ate the best pasta of my life here. Tagliatelle with mussels. Wonderful, simply recommended.

14/03/2025: After visiting the museum, we were the only guests here, just like in the museum. The ambience is truly breathtaking and the food is very tasty to match the location. Despite his first day at work, Claudio did well and served us in German. By the way, the restaurant was officially closed.

11/01/2025: You could only find a dough like the one Marjan makes at Fermentium, now it seems it has closed permanently. Always continue like this. The pizza is fantastic.

12/09/2024: Capisco che i lidi a volte siano un po' poco attrezzati ma qui lascia tutto a desiderare dalla location molto trasandata al servizio, con personale che non parla neanche l'italiano e che a stento tu saluta quando entri, in compenso un ottima frittura.. tutto qui. Peccato perché potrebbe essere davvero un bel posto
