Hotel Ristorante Nautilus In Nicotera

29/12/2023: Ever since I was a child I loved this restaurant: I begged my mother for us to go and get pizzas here every Friday, my favorites in the city. We have been there many times, not only for pizzas in the evening but also for festive occasions during the day, taking advantage of the large space available and inviting many relatives and friends. After many years we decided today to return to visit the restaurant during my visit to Italy for the Christmas holidays, and it was like returning to the past: courtesy, availability and desire to offer a genuine experience, which has always been synonymous with this restaurant . We asked the day before, although the specialty is fish, if it was possible to prepare vegetarian and vegan dishes. Without any problem they immediately understood what my needs were and prepared delicious dishes. The grilled vegetables were tasty and genuine, the pumpkin pasta excellent and full of flavour. My family was happy with all the other dishes with meat and derivatives. The portions are between right and abundant, allowing you to leave satisfied at a modest price, and the staff is always available and attentive to every need, bringing extra napkins and bread without even needing to ask. I can only recommend this restaurant to everyone, visitors and non-visitors alike, as it remains a bastion of ancient flavours, genuine cuisine, courtesy and hospitality as in the best Calabrian tradition.
