29/06/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant because it's close to where we're staying, and what can I say...it was truly a surprise!!! First of all, I'm gluten intolerant and had no problems whatsoever. We had two local appetizers, a first course with anduja, and I had a gluten-free fried dish, and it was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

28/06/2026: The experience was so perfect that we dined here two nights in a row. A quiet place where you can eat typical Calabrian cuisine with generous portions and excellent value. The staff were among the friendliest we've ever met; at the end of the dinner, they even gave us complimentary fruit straight from their garden. I highly recommend this restaurant.

03/05/2026: Disappointing, I ordered some savoury mignon for a buffet in the afternoon, I was advised three pieces per person, in reality these mignon were enormous, therefore aesthetically ugly and not very suitable for the afternoon, in fact of the 6 trays a tray and a half were consumed, no one dared to have dinner at 6pm, it's a shame 100.00 wasted and on top of that the disappointment

31/07/2026: I was looking for a thin, light, and easily digestible pizza, and I found it here. Delicious! Many types of pizza, low prices. Nice, shaded, and quiet area. Very friendly staff. Convenient parking nearby.

23/07/2026: I went with my family to this place as the reviews were very good. My mum and i took a grigliata mista ( mixed grilled meat) - it was burnt - we told the waitress and she never came back to rectify and at the end we paid yhe entire 27 euro for burnt meat. We told her but nothing was done. This is not fair and a very bad treatment they only offer an amaro neither a dessert! Carne cucinata malissimo, era tutta bruciata e pagata a prezzo pieno. La cameriera molto scortese , non verremo piu'. Pagata a prezzo pieno ed hanno solo offerto degli amari neanche un dolce. Molto molto triste

27/03/2026: An excellent stay, far exceeding expectations. The rooms were renovated, clean, and, given the cold weather of March 2026, very warm. The staff was friendly, but especially the breakfast. A wide variety of cakes, all different and very fresh, with special attention to gluten-free and lactose-free options. And the coffee, not the usual ground coffee, but pods and a coffee machine.

01/07/2026: Last night I went to "La Ruota" in Pizzo, with my husband and our 3-year-old son, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. I can say, without exaggeration, that the dinner we ordered was simply sensational: the freshest fish, perfectly cooked, and truly delicious. The location is wonderful, with a breathtaking sea view and a relaxing atmosphere that makes the dinner even more special. A special mention goes to all the staff. We were greeted with great warmth and professionalism, and the waitress with whom I exchanged a few words, mother to mother, was exceptionally kind. We felt truly at ease, even with a small child. Politeness, helpfulness, customer service, and excellent cuisine: everything was impeccable. If you find yourself in Pizzo, "La Ruota" is a stop I wholeheartedly recommend. We will definitely be back!

03/07/2026: The food was really good, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I didn't give it a full 5 stars because, in my opinion, the portions were a bit small given the prices. However, I recommend it and would gladly return.

19/06/2026: I tried a Neapolitan pizza (it was a Margherita type) with olives and anchovies. It was okay, but I didn't love it. With two 330ml cocas (flatbreads), we spent €20 for two people. They charge a €2.50 cover charge per person.

24/03/2026: Tropea, Lido Costa degli Dei, "Coast of the Gods" is a very nice small town beach. It has a beautiful sandy beach, located at the foot of the sanctuary of Santa Maria Dell Isola, a great place for a cloudless and sunny holiday.

21/07/2026: 25€ 1 parasol + 2 deckchairs We were there for 3 hours. I think it's a bit excessive. We ordered spaghetti Bolognese at the restaurant, which they brought out was made with tagliatelle tomato sauce and a little minced meat.

19/05/2026: I'm only reviewing the restaurant. It's actually the only one in the area open during the day. The pizzas are freshly made, delicious, and the service is friendly. The place is quiet, even though it's on the road.

17/05/2026: We were there for dinner, so there's no room review 😁 The food was delicious, the seafood pizza was very good, and the pasta was also good. The nonno pizza was good, the carbonara pasta was spicy, and the egg was a bit too hard, but it all went together well.
