03/10/2025: The Blue Bay beach and kiosk are those "oases in the desert" that I'm happy to find in this earthly paradise. Courtesy, a smile, kindness, professionalism, and a desire to do their job to the fullest. Family-run, this small beach has everything you need for wonderful days at the beach. Discovered by chance on a September day, far from the summer chaos, it gave us a relaxing and pleasant Sunday. Perhaps the space between the loungers is a bit small, but I understand they try to make the most of the small beach. Oh, and a small note: if they let you enjoy the sunset after closing time, be good: "Close the loungers and umbrella!" Kindness demands kindness! Highly recommended

24/08/2025: We had our usual family lunch this year at Parco degli Ulivi, and, like other times, I returned with high expectations. The service is always impeccable, the staff is kind and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxing. However, this year I was a little disappointed with the quality of the food. The dishes were bland and flavorless, a real shame, as I'd enjoyed the restaurant's cuisine in the past. We chose their €35 fixed menu (even though we ended up paying €38 🤔)... I don't think we'll be back.

23/09/2025: My experience was, unfortunately, terrible. Room cleaning was nonexistent: hygiene didn't seem to be a priority at all. I found hair stuck to the shower stall, yellowed fixtures, limescale buildup, and obvious mold. Comfort was zero. The mattress absolutely needed replacing: visibly decades old, stained, and completely sagging. It was impossible to even think of sleeping on it without wondering how much bacteria it might contain. Furthermore, the bed frame itself was literally collapsing: unstable and tilted to one side. Security also left much to be desired. The electrical outlets were exposed, unprotected: a moment could be enough to risk an electric shock. Finally, breakfast was truly poor and of questionable quality, with products that seemed substandard. In short, one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. It's absolutely not worth the money and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

20/09/2025: Never going back. I've never eaten so badly in my life. ...... I don't even know what Calabrian appetizers are, all dirty stuff, a real disappointment....... We left everything and went somewhere else for dinner........... Never ever again.......

24/09/2025: We were greeted at 2 p.m. on Wednesdays by a super friendly staff. The pizzas were delicious, and the complimentary focaccia-style starter was super good. Recommended 🤩

26/07/2025: Durante l'acquisto di alcuni prodotti tipici, ci siamo fatti consigliare un ristorantino di pesce, subito ci hanno indicato l'Hobbit Risto-Pub, un ristorante accogliente e confortevole dove si mangia divinamente. L'antipasto misto di mare era eccezionale con prodotti freschissimi e di altissima qualità, per non parlare dei primi piatti preparati con passione e amore dallo chef e proprietario Andrea, per poi completare con una frittura che non sembrava neanche passata nell'olio per quanto asciutta. Oltre all'ottimo cibo Andrea è stato un'ottimo padrone di casa. Consigliatissimo

01/10/2025: Very welcoming atmosphere, just a few minutes' walk from Tropea train station. The food is excellent. I highly recommend the appetizer for two and the first course of square spaghetti with meat sauce and black pig cheek. Service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

27/09/2025: I only had two nights in Tropea and stumbled on Fame da Lupi while walking the strip. The meats in the window pulled me in, and I finally got the Florentinian steak I’d been craving. Perfectly cooked, paired with roasted veggies and Sicilian wine — unforgettable. I loved it so much I went back the next night. The chef’s slow-cooked ribs with roasted potatoes were incredible, and the atmosphere was just as inviting. Both nights I ended up making friends at nearby tables — that’s the vibe here. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Italy. Don’t miss it!

29/08/2025: Far from the more commercial coastal towns, this is the perfect location for tranquility, service, and good food. A late-August dinner for two with 2 perfect Spaghetti alla Tarantina and 1 excellent and plentiful mixed grill of seafood. Along with a "de la Mason" rosé and water, it's a very reasonable €50. Don't be fooled by the sign, which says "Pizzeria Ristorante," because pizza service is suspended. Even though I wasn't the least bit interested in pizza, the staff is the first thing they tell you as soon as you sit down, so you still have a choice.

24/08/2025: Sea view, always fresh fish, a simple place where you feel right at home. We always make reservations for lunch in August. Friendly and very helpful staff. Everything excellent!

09/10/2025: I stayed at the hotel for two nights with a friend and ate at the restaurant one evening. -The hotel is fantastic. It's in a fantastic location right in the heart of Tropea, and we were even lucky enough to have a small balcony overlooking the square. The breakfast was good, and the coffee was delicious. -The food was good. The enthusiastic owner gave us great recommendations for fresh food and treated us to local delicacies. 03/10/2025: The food was amazing, but even more fascinating was the host (Nicolo) who has such a passion and lovely pride for his great food, we felt like in an Italian movie experiencing his hospitality. 19/08/2025: We were in the mood for some good ice cream 🍨 There was friendliness at first, until we were asked to try a flavor we weren't familiar with, and it was refused! For us, who have traveled halfway around the world, this was the first time this had happened. From then on, the empathy began to crumble, and the service was very poor. We paid for an ice cream with two flavors, the amount of which was so tiny it didn't even reach the top of the cup. We were left speechless and unwilling to return. We believe the service isn't really like that and that we were unlucky on the day and time.

13/08/2025: We visited this place during the week of August 15th and found a table right away. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they knew how to manage the dining room well. We went to Don Rocco because we'd seen a fantastic aperitivo featuring both cooked and raw fish at a special price on Instagram, but in the end we opted for several dishes to share and sample. Pleasantly surprised, we recommend the peppered mussels... sublime to say the least! The view was spectacular, next to the Norman cathedral in a truly picturesque little square.

11/09/2025: Marina di Pizzo Calabro, short (sandy) beach with umbrellas a bit too close together. The pool is an additional fee and is very large with slides for the little ones. Overall, the facility is well-maintained, with a spacious restaurant and bar and several areas managed separately. The pizzeria is good, but the service is a bit apathetic. Indoor and outdoor parking.
