27/07/2025: This restaurant is not too far from the center. I was absolutely disappointed. I ate dishes made with little love, such as the fjleia with scamorza and eggplant. The service was slow and distracted. The veal steak was definitely cooked well, but the knife couldn't cut it so much it was so fatty, I had to cut it with my hands. 😅 The grilled vegetables, cutlets, and potatoes were fine (if you get that wrong, it's better to do something else). But we hit rock bottom when I saw the good price and ordered grilled swordfish, and obviously I got porbeagle. There are people who still distinguish between different types of fish, and I love eating fish, so I know this well. I didn't say anything so as not to ruin a pleasant evening with my family, but that's not how it's done. We get to dessert, there are only three types of desserts, and well, maybe they're focusing on quality. Instead, the frozen pistachio cheesecake is impossible to eat without getting hammered. Total: €110. Never again, thanks.

25/07/2025: Location semplice ma molto accogliente…..personale e proprietario davvero gentili e competenti…..abbiamo cenato con pietanze tipiche calabresi e vi possiamo dire che abbiamo assaporato dei sapori davvero che richiamano i pranzi della nonna…sapori che avevo diciamo dimenticato ..: cosa dire di più ….complimenti….

02/08/2025: We ate here twice and I'm rating it as 3.9 star is too low. The food was plentiful, very good indeed, came quickly, reasonably priced and was served with a smile! I wouldn't hesitate to return and I am very fussy!

13/08/2025: We visited this place during the week of August 15th and found a table right away. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they knew how to manage the dining room well. We went to Don Rocco because we'd seen a fantastic aperitivo featuring both cooked and raw fish at a special price on Instagram, but in the end we opted for several dishes to share and sample. Pleasantly surprised, we recommend the peppered mussels... sublime to say the least! The view was spectacular, next to the Norman cathedral in a truly picturesque little square.

19/07/2025: Locale bello e ben tenuto. Il nostro tavolo era all'aperto in un fantastico giardino. Siamo stati accolti dal proprietario del locale, persona gentilissima. Personale cortese e attento. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

11/07/2025: The restaurant enjoys a prime location, with a spectacular view that alone is worth the visit. The food is also overall good, with well-presented and carefully prepared dishes. The people managing the dining room and taking orders are very committed, and it's evident: they really do everything they can to ensure efficient service. However, despite their efforts, the dining room staff management appears to be struggling. Some team members seem inattentive, and this impacts the overall experience. What was most perplexing was the clear perception, from inside the dining room, of strong tensions emanating from the kitchen. Hearing shouting and arguments among the staff inevitably ruins the atmosphere, and in such a pleasant setting, both in terms of landscape and cuisine, it's a jarring element and should be avoided. A place with great potential, it deserves greater serenity and coordination behind the scenes to offer an experience truly worthy of its beauty.

09/07/2025: A great discovery.... Delicious food, fast and attentive service... we ate on this splendid terrace, as a family... On the manager's recommendation, we ordered a mixed fried fish dish and a peppered mussel dish, both delicious. ... The staff were kind, polite, and well-organized in their various roles. We'll be back... congratulations.

08/07/2025: We discovered this simple and authentic place by chance, so we returned the next day to sample the restaurant's delicious cuisine once again. The dishes are balanced and home-style, using fresh, quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent value. A little corner of paradise where you can indulge your palate with the sound of the waves lapping at the shore!
