01/02/2026: We were there in September 2025 and I just found myself thinking about it again tonight. The service was lovely, the wine was excellent, and the view was unforgettable. Such a great spot for a date — beautiful atmosphere and an all-around wonderful experience.

06/01/2026: Good experience. When I was there (December 25th), they had the option of a full menu at a reasonable price (just over €30). I recommend booking a table with a view!

24/08/2025: We had our usual family lunch this year at Parco degli Ulivi, and, like other times, I returned with high expectations. The service is always impeccable, the staff is kind and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxing. However, this year I was a little disappointed with the quality of the food. The dishes were bland and flavorless, a real shame, as I'd enjoyed the restaurant's cuisine in the past. We chose their €35 fixed menu (even though we ended up paying €38 🤔)... I don't think we'll be back.

06/04/2026: Amazing little restaurant in Tropea. The food was incredible, especially the pasta. Such a lovely spot with a great atmosphere🤍

05/04/2026: The staff were very friendly and accommodating - they didn’t seem to do takeaways normally, but made an exception for me. The Tropea salad tasted quite fresh. However, their daily special seafood risotto was rather disappointing, it was more like a bowl of pilaf (with a few clams and mussels, and a couple pieces of squid), In fact, I was taken aback a bit when was told the risotto would be ready in 10 min (an authentic risotto would take much longer than that). Maybe their other dishes are better. I would advise against ordering the risotto.

03/04/2026: On our way home, we stopped for a drink at this pub; it had a very positive vibe. The lady immediately approached us with a smile and brought us a starter. My Aperol was delicious, and the whiskey and cola were very interesting, you could tell it wasn't just any old school. We recommend it :)

22/03/2026: The food was very Good, and the price even better. Had some wild boar stew that was delicious, and some red wine (Tenpo Reale Riserva) Excellent wine. They played 80’s songs that brought me back to my youth, making the whole experience even more magnificent.

05/10/2025: We've been to this pizzeria many times (not just this year). It has a great atmosphere and delicious food. Serafino is proud of how well his daughter and son run the place. It's worth visiting every day, especially on Saturdays, for delicious pizza and a great karaoke experience. We send our warmest regards to the owners and will probably return during our next vacation in Italy.

31/10/2025: The sandwich of the month is excellent, the service is always prompt and available, the location is perhaps a little small and with too many tables but at the end of October it doesn't cause any inconvenience.

28/10/2025: Top-notch artisanal gelato The exceptional Tartufo di Pizzo is highly recommended. The staff are extremely polite and true professionals.

24/10/2025: The tartufo here was a complete disappointment. We came here because of the good reviews and unfortunately can't confirm them in any way. We ordered four tartufo. They were freshly prepared, and we were able to watch them being prepared (although they didn't look particularly appetizing). Two of the four tartufo were okay. But two of them were already melting as soon as they were placed on the plate and were even dripping off the plate as the man handed them to us. We really should have sent them back right away... They tasted okay, but the consistency was more like chocolate sauce... and that on a chilly October day. All in all: Not recommended! The ambiance at this place is also rather off-putting. Sorry.

10/08/2025: Excellent experience!! A “Certosino” coffee that explodes in your mouth, white chocolate, Nutella, whipped cream, without distorting the coffee but enriching it. A perfect combination.

06/02/2026: Visit in August 2025 - the pizza was quite good, the edges were very inflated, the service was quite poor, the decor too, overall I rate it 4-, the average opinion of this place speaks for itself.

12/11/2025: Nice and calm hotel. Rooms are clean, air conditioned, with comfy bed, balcony, mini fridge, closet and mirror. Breakfast is tasty and has a variety of options. Great coffee. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pool is big and clean, but it’s a few minutes walk from the hotel.

14/10/2025: What a fantastic hotel – you feel warmly welcomed from the very first minute! The reception and greeting were very pleasant, and all the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. A particular highlight for me was the "Cena Calabrese," which takes place every Friday during the summer months – a typical Calabrian evening with music, dancing, and local food. The cake, presented by the hotel owner himself, was incredibly delicious! The nearby beaches with their crystal-clear water are also simply idyllic. I felt very comfortable and exceptionally well cared for throughout my entire stay at the Calabrisella. Saying goodbye wasn't easy – I will definitely be back.

13/12/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant today. The welcome was perfect, and the owner was incredibly attentive. He pampered us by seating us in a more private and quiet room since we arrived with our sleeping baby. He then explained the menu and recommended dishes. We had a traditional appetizer, followed by onion soup and spaghetti with fish, followed by fried calamari and chips. Everything was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the owner's presence was a real pleasure. We're so happy to have discovered this highly recommended little place; we'll definitely be back.

09/10/2025: I stayed at the hotel for two nights with a friend and ate at the restaurant one evening. -The hotel is fantastic. It's in a fantastic location right in the heart of Tropea, and we were even lucky enough to have a small balcony overlooking the square. The breakfast was good, and the coffee was delicious. -The food was good. The enthusiastic owner gave us great recommendations for fresh food and treated us to local delicacies. 25/08/2025: Off the beaten path, you'll find authentic cuisine. Pizzeria Ristorante San Francesco offers just that: traditional Calabrian cuisine, as it should be. Following Google's info (thanks to reviewers), we found this place. There's no showy display designed to impress (the exterior doesn't attract tourists, but perhaps that's a good thing). But inside, the truth comes through: excellent ingredients will win you over. A few dishes, but enough to get to know the area, all homemade with home-grown vegetables (grown directly by the owners). The first courses are delicious, as are the appetizers, pizzas, and second courses. But even the wait before tasting excellent Fileja alla Norma or alla Calabrese is worth it. The flavor explodes in your mouth. Simple, yet genuine and sincere, flavors that are missing from the surrounding tourist restaurants. Added to this is a rare kindness and courtesy that make the dinner even more enjoyable and make you say: I'll be back again (which we did). If you have a car and want to experience the simplicity of Calabrian flavors, I recommend going there—it's really worth it. We've been back three times. Congratulations.
