05/08/2025: We're just finishing our stay at the hotel and are very pleased with the hotel, its location, and the excellent service. The food was delicious; we didn't have a chance to try dinner, but the atmosphere and aromas were very tempting. During our stay, a music evening was organized – fantastic. The rooms, hotel, and grounds were very clean – I felt almost at home. 🙂 I highly recommend the hotel also for its beautiful beach, which is accessible by local bus and a choo-choo train – a great attraction for children. The beach itself is so lovely that you won't need to look for another one. From the train station, which is a 15-minute walk from the hotel, you can visit the towns of Tropea and Scilla – highly recommended! I'll definitely be back...

24/06/2025: A wonderful little family trattoria in an idyllic setting. The three different menus satisfy all needs. The flavors are dazzling, the atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant and you can feel in everything that they love to offer the best of everything to happy and returning guests. 5* and even a mini Michelin for the farm to table approach. Adorable.

14/06/2025: We happened upon it by chance and discovered a really nice trattoria, located inside a hotel but also open to external customers. They offer three fixed menus, well structured and suitable for different preferences. I highly recommend the cuttlefish salad: it was really good! Also, for the little ones, they also offer off-menu dishes such as cutlet and hamburger — just ask

19/07/2025: We had a very pleasant experience at Il Porticato. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. We ordered a tasting board with a variety of local delicacies, along with a beer, Coke Zero, and water. The total came to €43 — very reasonable for the quality and presentation. The atmosphere was charming, with beautifully arranged interiors and a cozy outdoor area that added to the overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed and tasteful moment in a lovely setting.

16/06/2025: I finally went on Saturday evening to taste the local delicacies, the pizza was excellent, the arancini exceptional, the welcome was top notch like all the staff present, highly recommended!

16/08/2025: Tables should be reserved in advance. We happened to be there on a karaoke night. The service was very, very slow, and sometimes other people who arrived after us already had their meals before we got our small appetizer. We didn't wait for the wine afterward. It took too long. A shame. Also, there were children running around and riding bikes in the building. If that doesn't bother you, the noise won't bother you either, but it wasn't for me.

16/08/2025: We ate in this restaurant on August 15th during a stay in the hotel next door, we ate a real diavola, with spectacular nduja, but even more spectacular are the meats they serve, you have to try them if you are in the area

22/06/2025: It's not the first time I go to Ciccio, but this last one I wasn't satisfied. Maybe because I saw little staff or because there were more people than expected or I don't know. No waiting for the table because it was booked. The chips with the skin were good quality but with a mountain of salt on top, impossible to eat without removing the excess salt. Now let's talk about the pizzas.. The other times they were light with a nice high and soft edge! This time the tomato sauce was very sweet and at times raw. The edge was very stringy and heavy, in short not like a Neapolitan pizza! I hope it was just a bad day, because the other times it wasn't so bad.

05/08/2025: Il posto è già spettacolare di per sé perché si trova affacciato alla spiaggia di fianco l’inizio della scogliera di Capo Vaticano da sud. Servizio impeccabile, puntualità e scelta, grigliata di pesce spettacolare così come anche i primi. La frittura in tutta onestà era un po’ dura e non la riprenderei, ma per il resto è un ambiente cordiale e allegro merita una visita. Da provare la pizza.

21/06/2025: We arrived at this place while we were on vacation because it was booked by friends. There were 10 of us I have to say that because of the recent negative reviews we were quite prejudiced. As soon as we entered the place had an unpleasant smell of grease that left us even more doubtful Also because of the negative reviews we decided on the pizza. Draft beer... Rather long. I asked for a side dish... The menu was all summed up as grilled vegetables or baked potatoes. Because the rest was not available because it is not in season... Maybe write it down... Anyway, the pizza was mediocre and reminded a bit of frozen pizzas. The dough was a bit dry. The flavor was still quite good. Spiced baked potatoes That really had very little of the oven. Strange, very brown. They seemed more like they were made in the air fryer. 24/06/2025: Historic pizzeria in Serra San Bruno. Wood-fired with top-quality ingredients. Among other dishes, they offer braccioli, rice, and potatoes. Delicious. The menu also features salads, pasta, and traditional dishes like tagliata.

11/08/2025: Exactly one year later, we decided to dine again at this restaurant located in the splendid Piazza della Repubblica. The reservation was the same, but when we arrived at the appointed time, we realized there wasn't a table ready (except for a cramped table in a side alley). We waited for a better table and, after a few minutes, we were seated at a coffee table set for four. No complaints about the food or the speed of service, which were excellent, but the four plates were much larger than the table, and about a third of the plate overflowed, risking that, when cutting the pizza, it would end up on your clothes (!). And that's not to mention the fact that we had to put our drinks on the floor; otherwise, it would have been impossible to eat. I waited for one of the waiters to volunteer, but nothing happened. Gentlemen, it was nice to enjoy your food, but this situation is absolutely unacceptable: try to improve the welcome or avoid taking the reservation.

08/08/2025: Before we sat down, we wondered why everyone was eating pizza, even though it's a seafood restaurant. Well, I have to say I understand; the others probably already knew the place. Let's just say the whole dinner was nothing special. It's definitely not a place worth returning to. P.S. They'll try to sell you sushi, because Pizzo is famous for its sushi. N.B.: Two stars for encouragement.

10/08/2025: Family-run restaurant in the heart of Tropea. Quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets, where you can enjoy a variety of local dishes. Good service and generous portions. Recommended!
