06/04/2026: We visited this agriturismo for Easter Monday. They offered us the set menu for the occasion. We ate very well, and the dishes were tasty and plentiful. The service was good despite the crowds. The experience was worth the hour-long drive. We'll gladly return.
01/01/2026: An extremely disappointing experience. Nothing met expectations, from the unprofessional service to the confusing organization. The most serious issue, however, was the complete lack of attention to food intolerances: a woman at our table with celiac disease received a plate of pasta that contained obvious residues of regular pasta. This was an unacceptable mistake that demonstrates superficiality and a lack of professionalism, especially on such a serious issue. Communication was poor and often unclear, resulting in wasted time and frustration.
The overall quality is significantly below what was promised and absolutely does not justify the expectations.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK.

17/01/2026: Home-style cooking, generous and authentic. The whole team is friendly. The fireplace is a lovely little extra. A wide selection of good wines from several regions, including Calabrian wines, of course ;-) ! Even a noisy family with screaming children couldn't spoil our meal
07/12/2025: A good trattoria with competitive prices without compromising on quality. The meats and cheeses are excellent. The parmigiana is also very good. Desserts and liqueurs are on the house. It's a shame about the olive oil at the table; with all the olive groves in the area, you can't offer supermarket-quality oil. The atmosphere is a bit spartan, but comfortable. Service is slow, but if you're on vacation and not in a hurry, it's acceptable. TF offer applies regularly.

I've been to the Bulldog Pub in Vibo Valentia and I absolutely loved it!
A beautiful, welcoming, and energetic place where you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
The staff is kind and smiling, always attentive and helpful, and makes you feel right at home.
I had a delicious beer and a delicious sandwich—all prepared with care and passion. The atmosphere and warmth of the place make every evening special and fun.
If you're looking for a place to eat well, drink excellent beers, and have a great time, the Bulldog Pub in Vibo Valentia is the place!

02/01/2026: I was with friends for a post-dinner drink, and we chose this place based on past experiences that were neither praise nor infamy.
We arrived at the place and were off to a bad start, with two people smoking inside the covered veranda.
We attempted to order some gins from the long list available on the menu, but they promptly weren't available... After about 4-5 failed attempts at ordering gin, and one attempt at ordering a beer, where none of the 4 on the menu were available, we decided to let the waiter decide, indicating our tastes...
My friends were a little luckier, but I received some real "fuel"...
As long as I live, I will never set foot there again.
Thank you and never again.
27/12/2025: A terrible spritz, all ice in a plastic cup. Paid €8 without a single crisp or appetizer. Outrageous.

22/02/2026: The guys saved our evening. Everything was closed, on the night Intercity train to Rome. They came to deliver 15 pizzas to the station in Vibo Marina, right on the platform, even waiting for the train, which was delayed past midnight. I'd say calling it top-notch service is an understatement. Add to that the friendliness of the young people I spoke to on the phone, and the result was a spectacular post-match evening in Calabria on the train. Thanks again 💪🍕❤️

16/08/2025: The hotel appears to be quite dated, as is the furnishings. The rooms have scratched masonry finishes, typical of the 1970s and 1980s, which consequently make them dirty. The rooms are slightly odorous and have no air conditioning.

17/09/2025: Someone seemed annoyed that guests arrived at around 2:30 p.m. even though three tables were still occupied. When we brought our food it was already clear that we were not welcome. The food was carelessly prepared; the bruschetta at the next table looked completely different. Spaghetti with mussels, four of which were not cooked. When we paid, they were also annoyed that we had to pay with a card. No thank you, no goodbye, and so on. The worst experience I've had in two weeks in Italy.
So I have to add a comment five hours later.
It's 8 p.m. and my wife is feeling very bad. She keeps throwing up. I hope she didn't catch anything from the mussels.
