07/09/2025: Excellent pizza, modest but clean atmosphere, reasonable prices. It's always best to book because it's always busy, and after eating and paying, you'll understand why. Quality at a more than reasonable price. I'll definitely be back, but make sure to book to be sure of a seat. Highly recommended.

05/09/2025: A lovely place to enjoy typical Calabrian dishes. The struncatura ammuddicata is amazing. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is simple and comfortable.

14/12/2025: I discovered this restaurant thanks to the Michelin Guide, which once again proved to be a reliable reference. There were two of us and we chose the tasting menu. The quality of the food was excellent: high-quality ingredients showcased without excess or unnecessary pretension. I particularly recommend trying the swordfish nuggets and the CBT sweetbreads glazed with a brown sauce. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, but never stuffy or overly formal, making the experience relaxing and enjoyable. The staff was very courteous and attentive. Also noteworthy is the restaurant's convenient location, a feature that is not a given but certainly appreciated.

01/11/2025: Terrible service, slow and poorly managed. It's unthinkable for someone to arrive at 8:00 PM to eat and be served at 9:00 PM when there weren't even that many people. Plus, half the items on the menu weren't available. When we were supposed to order and were ready, the waitress made us wait because she still had to set all the tables (setting means simply putting out a paper placemat). So she made us wait just to take our order. Then I chose meat and had to go inside to choose it from the counter. Too bad the butcher was serving customers and made me wait. When he could have taken 30 seconds to ask me what I wanted and cut the steak, that's enough. Plus, I had to remind him of my table number, otherwise he wouldn't have even gotten it. Then when the side dishes arrived (served as appetizers, I don't know why), we still hadn't received water or wine. And only after asking the waitress for water did it arrive, and very slowly did the wine arrive. Overall, the food was good, but not spectacular. It's a shame that the selection seemed extensive, but once we arrived, it was very limited. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Terrible service. If I had to give one piece of advice, it would be to close the butcher shop when you want to serve food and just run the restaurant, with faster and better waiters.

17/01/2026: A great meeting place in the city center, on Via Zecca, the beating heart of the city! A street where everyone meets.

16/01/2026: We arrived late in the evening, unaware of the bar's closing time. We ordered two cocktails (normal, nothing special), paid for them at the cashier, and were served without anyone warning us that the bar was closing soon. We sat down to drink quietly, but after a few minutes, tables, chairs, and umbrellas began to be dismantled around us, leaving us practically isolated. The message was clear: we had to leave. The drinks were still two-thirds full, but between the stares of the waiting staff and the atmosphere created, we were forced to drink quickly. We didn't want to be rude or keep the staff overtime, but we also didn't want to have such an uncomfortable and embarrassing experience. It would have been enough to not sell us the cocktails or to clearly warn us that the bar was closing and that we wouldn't have time to consume them. A decidedly negative experience, especially considering the tradition that the bar's name is supposed to represent. I probably won't be back.

21/12/2025: I happened upon it by chance on a Sunday for lunch. I had a variety of arancini. Some were good, some not, so I gave it 3 stars.

18/10/2025: Come and taste the famous and traditional Arancini; it looks like a croquette, but it's made with rice dough – a real treat!

17/10/2025: I come here every year from Tuscany, always stopping to try their ice creams and almond cookies. I still fondly remember how a few years ago, my father and I gave me a gelato to try, a very kind and unexpected gesture. Everything was excellent.

20/01/2026: We had a great experience there this morning. The baristas were super friendly, full of energy, great vibes and treated us really well. We ordered two coffees, a cappuccino and two small cannoli without knowing the price. We thought it was going to be overpriced due to the location but it wasn't at all! It was such a shame that we only discovered this gem on our last morning here. We're definitely coming back

18/01/2026: One star because it's one of the best-stocked places with a wide variety of sweet and savory options in the city. Otherwise, I wouldn't have given it even that, as the service is truly terrible. We sat in the gazebo overlooking the main street, and the waiter pretended not to see us. We called his attention, but he had no intention of serving us. We waited, but he went to other customers who had arrived after us, who also told him to wait. Anyway, we waited another 7 or 8 minutes, thinking he would come to us—a waste of time! In the end, we got up and left, as we had no intention of arguing. When you sit in a place like this, you expect a minimum of courtesy and you want to relax, not get angry.
