23/10/2023: Place is raw but packed. People were waiting outside for a table. One chef one barman one waiter… they do miracles. The sandwiches were so fresh and tasty. Il negroni perfetto. Don’t expect sir and madame but it was great.

21/10/2023: Amazing place. The owner in his standing aside to watch/listen is the best. Whoever manages the room is also very good. He knows his stuff. As for the dishes, you can't go wrong. Quality/price at the highest. Well done.

17/08/2024: I have been going to Solaria for many years, as soon as I manage to return to Brancaleone. I have always found friendly and attentive people as well as excellent food both for fish dishes, pizzas and the ice cream shop. I would like to thank the owner and all the staff who yesterday (16 August) worked hard to please me and my family who had had the evening ruined by the lack of attention of other restaurateurs who should go to Solaria's school of good manners ! Thanks so much!

16/08/2024: I brought friends and guests from the north here for a brioche with ice cream, happy memories of last year. For the first time in Calabria you have made me forget a myth, I had never seen ice cream counted with scoops and paltry quantities compared to brioche. Good quality but in terms of "portion" we are not in Calabria here.. please go back to the scoop and make decent quantities so we are not there..

20/01/2024: Cena di lavoro infrasettimanale con colleghi e clienti. Nel locale c’eravamo solo noi. Posto molto semplice, che da molto l’idea di cucina locale. Sono specializzati in pesce con alcune proposte anche di terra. Ho mangiato antipasti misti, un trancio di pesce spada ed un tortino caldo al cioccolato fondente. Buona qualità, gli ospiti sono rimasti contenti

21/07/2024: The hamburger at La Torroneria Murdolo is a fixed event every year. It is only available for a couple of months in the summer. The products are top quality, all their own production, their bun is exceptional. Some sandwiches risk being overly flavorful or spicy but it's still worth a try. To conclude the dinner, the idea of ​​an ice cream cannoli (also two-flavored) is not a bad idea.

01/05/2024: Ospitalità e gentilezza Oggi 1 maggio ci siamo recati a Bagnara per un evento “Festival del pescespada”, La fila per la degustazione era lunga e lenta, abbiamo quindi optato per un ristorantino, ho chiesto ad un signore che mi ha indicato il ristorante dell’hotel la Palma d’oro. Visto l’ora tarda abbiamo chiesto se potevamo pranzare, il personale ci ha proposto di accomodarci al bar che ci avrebbero servito l’aperitivo e poi qualcosa del ristorante. Il proprietario, il signor Enzo ci ha accolto in maniera impeccabile, mettendoci subito a nostro agio. Ottimo l’aperitivo analcolico, a cui è seguito un antipasto caldo e un ottimo primo strozzapreti al pescespada. Ci ha offerto un carpaccio di pescespada. Il signor Enzo ci ha illustrato i piatti e le ottime materie prime. Abbiamo concluso il pranzo con un eccellente gelato. Ci ha inoltre mostrato il ristorante con una magnifica veduta sul mare.Torneremo sicuramente, ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Compliments to the staff, very kind, courteous, attentive and always prepared, and very fast service. I'll be back.

11/07/2024: If I could give zero stars, I would. I personally went to the venue to discuss the possibility of booking the swimming pool for my graduation celebrations. They initially told me that there was uncertainty due to another event already booked for the same date, but they didn't know if it would actually take place. After a couple of days I asked for clarification to be able to organize myself properly and I was assured that that event had been cancelled, so I could easily celebrate my graduation there. Based on this confirmation, I printed and delivered the invitations to friends and family. Imagine my surprise and frustration when they called me again, a few days before the event, to tell me that in fact the venue was not available because they had "misunderstood" and the event had not actually been cancelled. I later discovered that the real reason for the cancellation was linked to the fact that another member of the club had made another booking and, having to choose between the two events, they decided to cancel mine. Zero professionalism, zero reliability, and a lot of incompetence of the girl who manages these things. This venue is unable to deliver on its promises and has caused huge problems and stress at the most important time of my life. If you care about your events and don't want to risk being disappointed at the last moment, avoid this place at all costs.

24/07/2024: A great place to eat typical Calabrian and Italian fast food. All delicious, a true Italian corner near the city center, near the Archaeological Museum and the Riace Bronzes. Excellent service, thanks to the owner. Affordable prices, pleasant atmosphere. La Trattoria participates in the Too Good to go program. I recommend!

06/07/2024: Below, Italians rate pizza, I haven't eaten pizza here. However, I ate pasta (three types): swordfish, octopus, and scallops. Everything was very good, perfectly seasoned. A culinary feast!!! There is a very friendly atmosphere in the place. I recommend.
