Try the excellent cuisine, the flavors and aromas of Calabria, made with simple, locally sourced ingredients. We'll definitely be back.
11/08/2025: Beachfront campsite, tree-lined, clean, and well-maintained.
Access with a large vehicle can be difficult, but the very kind Mrs. Caterina is available to pick you up on the SS 106 to avoid any inconvenience, provided you contact her by phone.
Near the beach, there's a bike path that leads to the nearby villages of Caulonia and Roccella Jonica, but it's also frequented by undisciplined drivers.
Recommended for a relaxing break.

After a long search and all the videos on TikTok, we were happy to finally find this restaurant right by the sea in Scilla.
We were really looking forward to fresh fish and ordered fish antipasti for our starter. The smell alone made me nauseous. It wasn't fresh fish! It was cheese foot at its finest. Strangely, everyone around us was eating fish (there's nothing else). Did they get fresh fish and we didn't? They could never eat the same thing we had. 🤢
Followed by the mini main course, which actually tasted like nothing. Pasta with seafood taste = 0.
So: I can sit nicely next door on the beach if I'm hungry and want fresh fish - stay away!

20/11/2025: Clean, and although small, welcoming, the place has friendly staff who are happy to cater to your taste buds, and the atmosphere is a peaceful place to enjoy. Takeout is a service that allows you to enjoy the deliciousness of our specialties at home with family and/or friends, confident in the ingredients and quality, as well as the taste. Of course, try it if you don't believe us!

30/10/2025: Swayed by the excellent reviews and Michelin-starred recommendations, we stopped for lunch. The food selection and quality are decidedly poor. Basic minestrone soup, supermarket-quality gnocchi, mediocre vegetable fritters and meatballs in tomato sauce, all served lukewarm, like a company cafeteria. Simplicity is fine, but the quality here is far below that of home cooking. It's a shame, because dinner is probably a different story entirely... the quality/price ratio is decidedly unbalanced.

24/08/2025: The place is very nice, both inside and out, well-maintained, and you can sit outside in the evenings. The food is good, but the pizza is a bit soft, and the dishes aren't very generous. As for the service, it's terrible: they didn't bring us any bread at the beginning, so we had to ask for it ourselves. The waitresses weren't smiling or were at least rude in their responses. For the pasta with clams, they didn't provide the scented wipes they usually provide, nor even a dish to put the shells on. Terrible.

We paid €20 for a broken umbrella and two deck chairs. After two hours, it started raining heavily, and we couldn't even get shelter at the bar because the roof has no cover.
