23/11/2025: A historic restaurant in the center of Reggio Calabria. I've been going there for many years, and they've always exemplified quality, professionalism, and friendliness. Their rotisserie is top-notch, and I'm not going to go out on a limb and say their pizza by the slice is the best in town.

13/06/2025: I have been a loyal customer of this pub for 20 years now, and I can honestly say that it has become a real second home. The place is beautiful, with a welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail, which makes you feel immediately at ease. The quality of the food and drinks is always excellent, and the staff is kind and professional. In particular, the summer garden is a real gem: an oasis of relaxation and beauty, perfect for enjoying an evening in company or a moment of tranquility outdoors. I highly recommend this pub to those looking for a special place, which over time has managed to maintain high standards and transmit warmth and good humor.

28/09/2025: Bar Pitasi is a true institution in the village of Mosorrofa thanks to its excellent pastries, breakfast, top-notch coffee, and central location. It has always been the primary destination for many residents and neighbors throughout the day, from morning until late at night (always open!), where it's customary to stop by for a chat and a coffee at any time. The gelato and homemade brioches are excellent, the best combination of flavors and brioches in all of Reggio Calabria (try it and believe it). The pastiera they make during Easter is superb! And the biscuits they make with age-old mastery are also incredibly delicious, especially the vanilla ones, the piparelle, and the occhi bue. The traditional Sunday desserts are all delicious; the cannoli and the classic "pesca" are a real specialty! The made-to-order cakes are also excellent and in the classic Italian style of old-fashioned house parties, much loved by many. The owners' courtesy, friendliness, and kindness are five-star. The atmosphere is pleasantly reminiscent of old-fashioned bars. Highly recommended.

01/09/2025: Amazing ice cream and excellent brioche

28/08/2025: We went for dinner. The food was decent, the road to get there was messy, and the place was decent, except for a few broken chairs. The problem was that they charged us for two children's menus without actually bringing them. Specifically, there were two girls, ages 6 and 10. The 6-year-old only ordered pasta with sauce and nothing else, and paid €18 (she should have brought the cutlet and drink, but she didn't). The other girl ate what we adults ordered on the menus, and still paid €18 without ordering the children's menu (absurd). We will never go back. We were disappointed. Be careful not to bring children; even if they don't eat, you still pay the same.

28/08/2025: I would define the place as "The Peace of the Angels" in the middle of nature, a beautiful location, with many ancient tools attached to the stone walls, excellent service, spectacular dishes, cooked by a chef who knows his stuff... congratulations, we will return soon.

18/09/2025: The gelato is good, although I personally didn't find it anything special. In my case, the flavor I chose, setteveli, was a bit runny, so they remade it. What I can't wrap my head around is the surcharges. In fact, the gelato I ordered cost €3.50 if I sat down, while it would have cost €2.80 if I'd eaten outside. I would have considered the surcharge justified if it had been brought to my table, but that wasn't the case. Also, the extra cost of cream on gelato isn't very common.

15/09/2025: Since the African heat isn't letting up this year, even in mid-September, and since the only place in Siderno that makes granita is now Strati, right in the center, here we are with a positive review. I had a delicious almond granita, fair prices, and friendly staff. Next time I'll try something more delicious, given the menu! I'm updating my review: I also tried the bubble waffle and the Cuore Caldo Freddo, and they're both fantastic!

09/09/2025: We ducked in for a quick coffee one day and the following day the lady at the payment counter already remembered us when we went for a gelato. Nothing seemed to be a problem, everything was easily done and everyone was kind and courteous. We ordered a tray of pastries for a dinner invite we have tonight and I’m sure they will be delicious. Definitely the place to be.

07/06/2025: Unfortunately, I have to give an extremely negative review. The quality is not proportionate to the price, and the staff is often rude and unprofessional. We tried to order several times, but each time there was some problem: wrong orders, rude attitudes and poor availability. On one of the last occasions we called to place an order and they hung up on us, answering rudely. Furthermore, once we paid €49.50 and did not receive our change. This behavior is unacceptable, and we wonder how many other people have suffered the same treatment. A business like this, given how it behaves with customers, does not deserve to stay open.

24/08/2025: The place is very nice, both inside and out, well-maintained, and you can sit outside in the evenings. The food is good, but the pizza is a bit soft, and the dishes aren't very generous. As for the service, it's terrible: they didn't bring us any bread at the beginning, so we had to ask for it ourselves. The waitresses weren't smiling or were at least rude in their responses. For the pasta with clams, they didn't provide the scented wipes they usually provide, nor even a dish to put the shells on. Terrible.

31/07/2025: Delicious, inexpensive. I'd come back here again for the pizza and desserts – the cheesecake is fantastic!
