14/08/2026: Dinner by the light of the full moon—what more can I say? There are truly rare places so magical where you can enjoy a delicious dinner in pleasant company. The atmosphere is very casual and basic, as befits a campsite, so if you're looking for a classy restaurant, don't expect this. Here, the atmosphere is simple and relaxed, and the cuisine has those simple yet balanced and satisfying flavors that only traditional cuisine can provide. The seafood pasta, octopus Luciana-style, and swordfish are delicious, and the pizza is equally delicious. The real magic, however, is the setting: simple, beautiful, and authentic. The service from the staff and the owner is truly excellent. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

07/08/2026: A very spacious and relaxing atmosphere, with many different spaces in the cool of the pine forest. Their artisanal ice creams are highly recommended! A great relaxing experience.

25/06/2026: From Bagnara, I headed up to Gambarie at lunchtime during my recent vacation in Calabria. I dived into the first restaurant I came across. I found a simple, spotlessly clean environment and the lady who runs it was extremely kind. I had a very good and generous appetizer (capocollo, salami, aged and fresh cheese, super potatoes, and sublime fried fish). For the main course, a lovely grilled meat. The price was truly excellent. A break from the superb fish in Bagnara, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

22/08/2026: I didn't have a good experience at all. Every time I asked about missing cutlery, they didn't show up. Plus, they didn't take my order.

15/08/2026: We ordered two large takeout pizzas, and for the price we paid, €45, we expected something more. The pizzas were undercooked, so much so that half of each was wasted, or rather, uneaten. The toppings were present, but seeing canned mushrooms still being used in 2026 makes me wonder. Finally, the quality of the dough and the fact that it wasn't cooked made everything seem subpar, as far as we were concerned. So, for us, the value for money was absolutely not there.

17/05/2026: Gorgeous place, attention to detail, friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming staff. The coffee is one of the best. Mattia, in particular, is an excellent creator of traditional cocktails and a wonderful innovator of new ones. I keep coming back.

09/06/2025: Bad experience the confirmation cake was inedible 4.8 kg of cake left on the plates and it should have been 4 kg! It was chocolate and chantilly cream what did the fruit rum have to do with it I don't know Dark sponge cake full of fruit rum one pays handsomely at least they made things well never again I wrote a message to avoid the review he didn't even reply to me after reading it

26/05/2025: The shekerato is the workhorse! Classic recipe, unmistakable taste. It is pleasant to enjoy sitting at the tables, among other things there is always a place, despite it being always busy. The service is fast, the staff very polite and kind. You can perceive a lot of serenity among the staff, a factor not to be underestimated. The owner is a very polite person even with customers, always smiling. The delivery service is very efficient, we have been ordering cakes for 20 years at home, we are very satisfied and the cakes are excellent from taste to aesthetics. We have had the opportunity to try the pastry buffet at some events, I would say excellent. I also recently tried the ice cream, impossible not to fall in love with the Nutella flavor! The prices are reasonable.

14/12/2025: I discovered this restaurant thanks to the Michelin Guide, which once again proved to be a reliable reference. There were two of us and we chose the tasting menu. The quality of the food was excellent: high-quality ingredients showcased without excess or unnecessary pretension. I particularly recommend trying the swordfish nuggets and the CBT sweetbreads glazed with a brown sauce. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, but never stuffy or overly formal, making the experience relaxing and enjoyable. The staff was very courteous and attentive. Also noteworthy is the restaurant's convenient location, a feature that is not a given but certainly appreciated.

21/08/2026: The kitchen was excellent, and so was the black-haired lady who served us. My only complaint: the Greek salad we ordered was a simple mixed salad without feta.

19/08/2026: The sandwiches are large and delicious, and the staff is extremely friendly. The value for money is excellent, and I'll gladly return.

19/06/2026: We went here with friends and had a really good time. The pizza was delicious, well-cooked, and very tasty. The appetizers also deserve a special mention: crispy battered onions, flavorful baked potatoes, and truly excellent stuffed zeppole. The owner was very kind and welcoming, gave us excellent advice, and was attentive throughout the evening. The place is warm and welcoming, with a pleasant atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. It's definitely a place to return to and one I'd happily recommend.

19/05/2026: Reggio Calabria's historic pub never disappoints, with a wide selection of beers and excellent food. Highly recommended for a relaxing evening with friends!
