17/11/2025: I must have been unlucky, but the stockfish served to me, both as a starter and as a main course, had neither a pleasant smell nor a pleasant consistency, and the menu could use some alternatives (I understand that it's a local product, but you can't focus 90% of the menu on that).

04/11/2025: Naturally, a stockfish lunch was served. The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The space was spacious, though dimly lit. The cuisine was excellent. The talented and patient chef waited for us well beyond our expected arrival time, cooking us the best of his menu. We'll definitely be back.

13/11/2025: Wide selection of breads and biscuits, including gluten-free ones. Delicious pizza and focaccia. Mr. and Mrs. Paolo are friendly and helpful.

25/08/2025: There are a few outdoor tables for dining in, but despite the fair and the holiday, we managed to find a seat. The pizzas and arancini were truly excellent. We chose the place for the gluten-free pizza, which was truly delicious.

09/12/2025: The prices are reasonable, and the food is very good – the ingredients are clearly of high quality. There's a wide selection! However, beware of the staff's language barrier – communicating in English is difficult. Furthermore, payment is made at a pay-as-you-go machine, which charged us 35 euros more for a large bill.

04/01/2026: Let me start by saying: thank you. Very welcoming and trustworthy, both inside and outside, surrounded by citrus and olive trees. The owner and her daughter made us feel at ease, and we enjoyed a meal of authentic, typical dishes from the Greek Calabrian tradition. We'll definitely be back. Well done, and thank you again for the wonderful day you gave us.

30/11/2025: Today we had a wonderful experience at this agriturismo. We enjoyed delicious food prepared with passion and skill. The cuisine is traditional, and all the dishes, from the many appetizers to the first and second courses, and finally the dessert, were freshly prepared with respect for tradition. Highly recommended. Kudos also to the owners for their kindness.

01/10/2025: The best sandwich I've ever had in all of Italy! Absolutely fantastic! If I'm ever in Reggio, I'll have to buy them all for the future, because I still can't forget the taste!

15/09/2025: A bakery where you can also have breakfast with a good coffee at the lowest price in all of Reggio. Extremely attentive and welcoming staff. Convenient parking is also available. An open-plan planning lab is also available.

10/01/2026: Truly delightful place. Besides Teresa's excellent cuisine, they often host themed evenings or evenings with truly enjoyable live music! It's a must-visit when I return to Reggio. ❤️

22/11/2025: Very well-maintained and with a distinctive, unique atmosphere. Excellent service. I highly recommend making a reservation and letting us know if you have any dietary restrictions. Normally, the menu is fixed, but they are very good at preparing alternatives when possible. The preparation of the dishes and the quality of the ingredients are excellent. I had a superb pasta and broccoli dish, but the rest was not far behind.

16/09/2025: September 13, 2025 The Orchidea restaurant was the absolute protagonist of the most beautiful day of my life, my wedding. The hosts, Susanna and Sebastiano (two fantastic people), managed to organize the civil ceremony with the mayor and the wedding dinner in two separate rooms, outdoors, with a truly wonderful setting. The first part of the civil ceremony was celebrated in front of the upper pool, with numerous white chairs all decorated with flowers, a white carpet in the middle with two poufs and a floral arch, all impeccably lit, creating a moving atmosphere. The second part of the wedding dinner was organized in the ground-floor pool, in front of a lawn, with all the tables in the center and the aperitif stations all around, where my guests and all of us savored a menu of appetizers, almost entirely fish, with some meat, of indescribable deliciousness. Fish cooked in the most diverse ways, with a wide selection of courses. The appetizers were rich, plentiful, and delicious. The three first courses and two second courses, served at the table, were a huge success, with requests for more, which were not lacking. The organization of the kitchen and the dining room deserved top marks. The entire staff was fast, helpful, and kind. The final menu, featuring the wedding cake and an endless dessert buffet, was a resounding success. A variety of desserts, of indescribable deliciousness. I must and want to sincerely thank Susanna and Sebastiano for their professionalism, availability, kindness, friendliness, and humility. You managed to make my day a dream come true. I recommend all Calabrians and Italians who pass by the Orchidea to stop by and create your own unforgettable moment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart... 11/10/2025: The best takeout pizza and more, well-prepared rustici and a wide variety of products made with quality ingredients. The display case is always well-stocked, clean, and beautifully presented, a delight for the eyes and the palate. The staff is always friendly and available for any request. Home delivery is the icing on the cake, completing an excellent organization.

20/01/2026: We had a great experience there this morning. The baristas were super friendly, full of energy, great vibes and treated us really well. We ordered two coffees, a cappuccino and two small cannoli without knowing the price. We thought it was going to be overpriced due to the location but it wasn't at all! It was such a shame that we only discovered this gem on our last morning here. We're definitely coming back

18/01/2026: One star because it's one of the best-stocked places with a wide variety of sweet and savory options in the city. Otherwise, I wouldn't have given it even that, as the service is truly terrible. We sat in the gazebo overlooking the main street, and the waiter pretended not to see us. We called his attention, but he had no intention of serving us. We waited, but he went to other customers who had arrived after us, who also told him to wait. Anyway, we waited another 7 or 8 minutes, thinking he would come to us—a waste of time! In the end, we got up and left, as we had no intention of arguing. When you sit in a place like this, you expect a minimum of courtesy and you want to relax, not get angry.

27/12/2025: I was invited to a birthday party. The table was booked at 10:30 PM... The table was ready at 11:45 PM. The staff showed no interest in promptly resolving the issue; in fact, the owner simply smiled and laughed about the situation. After numerous reminders, we were given an incomplete table, missing seats, and inadequate space. Not to mention the alcohol was quite poor quality and not suitable for the requests made. The quality/price ratio was quite poor. We can't comment on the food, but the service alone definitely lost some future customers.

21/12/2025: The pizza was good overall, although I wasn't convinced by the bresaola: I was told it was all raw, but the tomato sauce was cooked and puréed, which I found unpleasant. The other pizzas were better, as were the panini and fries, both well-made. The meatballs were average, nothing memorable. The atmosphere was unique and original, but decidedly noisy. The service was a strong point: very fast and efficient.
