18/07/2024: Elected to my bar in Reggio Calabria. Real chocolate croissant (not the overdose of Nutella passed off as chocolate) and old-fashioned cold coffee (when asked: "Do you want it bitter or sweet?" I was about to faint) without the addition of granita or alien excipients.

29/05/2024: La piazza è un ristorante ubicato al Centro della città di Locri e sulla via principale. Rosa e sorella Marisa sono l’anima di questo punto di ristoro. La prima cosa che appare è la calorosa accoglienza e ti senti come a casa tua. Gustosissimi i primi di Pasta sempre al dente. Ottimi secondi di pesce o carne con contorno di insalata verde o rossa del giorno. Per i palati più coraggiosi consiglio il primo di pasta “ corte d’assise” con peperoncino. Ho fatto da Guida a un gruppo numeroso di studenti di scuola media e tutto è andato bene. Il Ristorante La Piazza ha superato l’esame del gusto a pieni voti. Parola di Guida Turistica

29/04/2024: We entered this place by chance and discovered the true flavors of Calabria. Truly genuine and traditional first courses. Homemade cuisine. Very friendly staff, excellent value for money. We highly recommend them.

27/08/2024: It is a farmhouse with a well-kept swimming pool, garden and restaurant. In particular, the restaurant offers gluten-free first courses, second courses and pizza (the pizza dough and cakes are prepared by them). In breakfast the savory part needs to be improved.

25/08/2024: An experience to forget... I took some friends to dinner, I made a fool of myself... non-existent service... not to mention the food... poor... I recommend that if you have to go to the bathroom, do it in the countryside.. A mess.

25/08/2024: I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The pizza was delicious, the dough phenomenal, and the service, if possible, even more so! Hospitable, kind waitress, made us feel really at home. We also tried the dessert proposed by the cook, which confirms the quality of the place. Furthermore, the place was very clean and well managed, if I could I would give it 10 stars. We ate outside, where everything was well taken care of. I highly recommend this place! I'll be back!

18/07/2024: Just finished dinner with two pizzas and a 66cc beer). The pizza is amazing. Unfortunately the service is the counterpart: "a chipped and sharp glass, a chipped plate, the tablecloth with a cigarette hole almost in the center (covered by a small table lamp), hair in the tablecloth and you paid one euro plus the beer because other beer is marked in the final bill (peroni gran reserve and not blue ribbon). If the service improves they have a product without equal.

04/08/2024: The place is beautiful, and that's the only positive note. The service was friendly on the surface, but they pushed you to hastily order the dishes they wanted (which probably bring an excellent margin). Also at one point they almost took our plates without us having finished. The swordfish was not good, quite dry. And for dessert we ordered a pistachio truffle and they brought us something unrecognizable, a little melted ... And 1 minute later, at the next table, a pistachio truffle from Pizzo arrived which was what we were expecting too . We complained but they made us pay anyway.... 45 eur/person without having missed anything in particular (drinks water + 1/4 house wine). Overall a poor experience. They take advantage of the suggestive place to attract tourists and have as many tables as possible, with as wide a margin as possible. I highly recommend moving on or stopping first.

22/02/2024: Ho letto alcune recensioni che si lamentano del troppo riso, ma a me è sembrato molto equilibrato. Tutto fatto bene e devo dire che anche la varietà della scelta è notevole. Personale molto gentile, garbato e premuroso, servizio veloce. Locale carino e accogliente per una serata in tutta tranquillità. Ci ritornerò sicuramente conplimenti. Ho consigliato, per avere una atmosfera più orientale, un pochetto di musica a tema!!!

31/08/2024: Partita dalla “lontana” Reggio con la curiosità di assaggiare una pizza di cui avevo sentito parlare, posso dire che ne è valsa assolutamente la pena! Location curata e accogliente, personale cortese e professionale e soprattutto una pizza di qualità eccellente, sia per l’impasto, che per gli ingredienti di primissima scelta! Che dire …. Top!! Sicuramente un’esperienza da replicare al più presto!

29/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in famiglia nel bellissimo giardino di fronte il locale, per una cena in totale relax. Pizze buonissime e curate in ogni dettaglio, prodotti freschi e di qualità. Servizio gentile e attento! È stata veramente una bellissima serata. Consiglio veramente a tutti.

19/07/2024: Da Rocco è il Ristorante dove è stata inventata la famosa Pasta alla Corte d'Assise. Nonostante questa eccellenza il locale è piuttosto datato e con un'offerta di piatti più che tradizionali. Abbiamo mangiato un'ottima insalata di Polpo e Seppie, ma, purtroppo, la grigliata mista di carne era quasi immangiabile perchè era troppo secca (sembrava un avanzo riscaldato). La simpatia del titolare e i prezzi più che accettabili non sono sufficienti per promuovere il locale che meriterebbe molto di più.

02/08/2024: Been coming here every morning for breakfast. Keep in mind breakfast in Italy means coffee and typically a croissant. The coffee and pastries are very good, service is friendly and very accommodating to my “super size” latte request every morning.

06/08/2024: Great experience overall. A nice evening with friends. The quality of the raw materials could be felt in the mouth with the hamburger meat which everyone described as tasty and succulent. I tried the piadina and it was very good. Recommended if you want to experience an evening in the pub!

21/07/2024: We were 3 people all with different tastes...... they served us delicacies quickly..... We had already been last summer and they had satisfied us even though we had asked for a dish not included in the menu. Highly recommended
