11/09/2025: Our visit to Granitiamo was very disappointing and confusing from the start. The prices and rules were unclear: the menus at the tables indicated lower prices, while only inside did we discover the actual cost of the granitas (€3.50 for the medium one and €5.00 for the large one). Furthermore, we were verbally informed that the €3.50 granita allowed a maximum of two flavors, while the €5.00 one allowed three. ​We ended up spending €13 for two granitas and one brioche col tuppo, a total far higher than expected. Furthermore, we couldn't pay by card, and we weren't given a receipt. ​The service was rude and rushed. Conversely, we noticed a marked disparity in the treatment given to another table, likely regulars, who received special attention and significantly better service, including a souvenir photo taken by the owner. An experience we will not repeat and that we do not recommend.

30/12/2025: We chose 4 pizza flavors from the wide range. The dough is nicely crispy, and the filling is sufficient and tasty. I recommend it.

22/10/2025: What can I say...I LOVE CALABRIA The land, the sea, the parks, the food. We absolutely recommend this rotisserie and grill restaurant. The quality is top-notch and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable. Thank you so much for your passion and for what you bring to the table with your dishes.

14/12/2025: I discovered this restaurant thanks to the Michelin Guide, which once again proved to be a reliable reference. There were two of us and we chose the tasting menu. The quality of the food was excellent: high-quality ingredients showcased without excess or unnecessary pretension. I particularly recommend trying the swordfish nuggets and the CBT sweetbreads glazed with a brown sauce. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, but never stuffy or overly formal, making the experience relaxing and enjoyable. The staff was very courteous and attentive. Also noteworthy is the restaurant's convenient location, a feature that is not a given but certainly appreciated.

24/02/2026: Excellent pastries. Unfortunately, no gluten-free options. Questionable ordering method: customers have to write their order on a piece of paper (waste of paper). An app would be enough to take orders and process payment. This would also avoid mistakes. The staff is a bit grumpy. Noisy place.

28/12/2025: AN AUTHENTIC DISCOVERY: a must-visit for beer and food lovers! We recently visited Ristorante l’Istrione in Stilo with a group of friends, and I can say it was a real pleasure. The owner's professionalism and expertise were immediately evident, but what really impressed us was his skill in craft beer production! Francesco, the master brewer, recommended high-quality beers to pair with our dishes, from red beers for meat to fresh white beers for fish. His knowledge of beer and cuisine was truly impressive! The cuisine was simply exceptional! We ordered both fish and meat dishes and were thoroughly satisfied. The appetizers were delicious and varied, the first courses were plentiful, and the second courses were cooked to perfection, as we requested. The restaurant is small but cozy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere thanks to the stone walls and rustic furnishings. We felt right at home and enjoyed a quiet, relaxing evening. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. See you soon!

13/12/2025: I ordered three pizzas on Deliveroo, one of which was stretched. The pizzas arrived cold and burned. The stretched pizza was also cut in half and placed in two different boxes, something no one had requested. The mixed fried food never arrived. When I asked the delivery person for an explanation, he initially said "there was no mixed fried food." After I pointed out the receipt for the order, he corrected himself, saying the pizzeria had forgotten it. At that point, I called the pizzeria. The girl responded rather annoyed, saying she knew nothing about it. I then asked to speak to the person in charge; on the first call, she refused and hung up. I called back, now rightfully annoyed, and was put through to the owner, who coldly and with a total lack of respect for the customer, passed the buck, blaming Deliveroo for everything (except, of course, the burnt pizzas). There was a lack of courtesy, attention, and professionalism. Result: €40 spent on cold, burnt pizzas and a mixed fry I never received. Rating: 0 stars.

20/02/2026: We ordered four pizzas and had to wait an hour or more for them. When we finally ate them, they were delicious, but unfortunately cold. It wasn't busy, and after waiting over an hour, we received cold pizzas. Such a shame.

16/11/2025: The restaurant is located in the middle of nature; eating on the terrace overlooking the forest is very relaxing and pleasant. The place is a bit dated. Authentic, locally sourced food! Homemade and tasty cuisine, excellent quality cured meats, and goat meat cooked to perfection and very flavorful! The homemade pasta was excellent. Excellent service, welcoming and prompt. The price was commensurate with the quality of the food; I highly recommend it. I came back for the second time, but this time I wasn't very satisfied. The meat was a bit chewy, and the cured meats and pickles weren't my cup of tea.

01/05/2025: Good desserts, delicious croissants, now with the arrival of the warmer seasons there are covered tables outside where you can enjoy an excellent ice cream, recommended for a breakfast or an aperitif with friends or even alone to relax for a bit

19/09/2025: Let's start by saying that it was a new culinary experience for us. We had never tried meat sushi. Excellent advice from the owner, who looked after us throughout the dinner without being intrusive. Excellent service, high-quality, aged meat, and various alternatives to best satisfy curious customers. It was a wonderful evening. We'll be back, perhaps at our next location. Best wishes for everything.
