12/04/2026: Interesting place, rustic yet modern. We had a seafood and rustic appetizer, and it was an appetizer that doubled as dinner, and what a dinner it was!!! A taste of everything that's delicious in Calabria. An excellent tasting experience. Barone Rosso is a place I recommend if you're in Gioiosa Ionica 😃

13/12/2025: I ordered three pizzas on Deliveroo, one of which was stretched. The pizzas arrived cold and burned. The stretched pizza was also cut in half and placed in two different boxes, something no one had requested. The mixed fried food never arrived. When I asked the delivery person for an explanation, he initially said "there was no mixed fried food." After I pointed out the receipt for the order, he corrected himself, saying the pizzeria had forgotten it. At that point, I called the pizzeria. The girl responded rather annoyed, saying she knew nothing about it. I then asked to speak to the person in charge; on the first call, she refused and hung up. I called back, now rightfully annoyed, and was put through to the owner, who coldly and with a total lack of respect for the customer, passed the buck, blaming Deliveroo for everything (except, of course, the burnt pizzas). There was a lack of courtesy, attention, and professionalism. Result: €40 spent on cold, burnt pizzas and a mixed fry I never received. Rating: 0 stars.

24/08/2025: A lovely beach. Equipped with restrooms, outdoor showers, and a bar area with nice shaded tables. It's not very large, which makes it quiet, especially since it's not surrounded by other beach resorts; there are only free beaches nearby. There's plenty of parking along the road that runs along the seafront, so you don't have to go far to find one. Since the umbrellas and lounge chairs are secondhand (which is a great thing!), renting an umbrella with two lounge chairs is only €7.50! Highly recommended for a comfortable but super-quiet day at the beach.

30/06/2026: A lovely find on a hidden street. The place is very charming. You can eat both inside and in the garden, where my wife and I ate. The appetizers are very varied, the chef is truly skilled at preparing the individual elements (the eggplant meatball and pasta frittata were delicious), and the dishes are generous. We'll be back.

03/05/2026: There's no point in booking, since your table won't be ready, and they'll seat you anywhere, even right in front of the door, where staff and customers are constantly passing by. Service? They forget to bring drinks, bread, and condiments. Absurd experience.

22/04/2026: We went for dinner on Sunday and loved the place. The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly. This place deserves a special mention, as I've been living in Italy for two years and this is the first time I've eaten so well.

23/12/2025: A great place to spend time in good company and enjoy a good pizza or burger... Fast service and friendly staff ready to accommodate your requests. We loved the desserts, especially the pandoro filled with mascarpone and Nutella...you can't miss it!!!

11/03/2026: Churuata Burger House sets the standard for preparing exclusive and delicious gourmet burgers. The interplay of the flavorful meat and the other ingredients creates a culinary experience unlike anything I've ever encountered in a burger house. The appetizers were also completely convincing. This Irish pub authentically captures the atmosphere, a unique blend of rustic charm and genuine community spirit. The dim lighting, the long bar, and the friendly staff all contribute to this positive overall impression.

07/03/2026: The food is delicious, the location is beautiful, but ultimately the service isn't the best. After an hour and a half, the food still hasn't arrived.

03/05/2026: The meal went well, the food was high quality, no complaints there. The problem arose when we went to pay. We noticed that the prices on the menu weren't the same as those on the bill, €6 more. The waitress told us the prices on the menu weren't up to date. We made it clear that we were unhappy with this dishonest practice. She came back and said she'd made a gesture and split the difference! How arrogant! We didn't want to make a scene, but if the prices on the menu aren't correct (which I highly doubt), it would be honest to mention it at the beginning of the meal, not at the end. We're tourists (I don't think Italian customers fall victim to this kind of scam), we travel to support you, and this is how you thank us! It's nothing like the previous restaurants where they offered a complimentary digestif! In short, I almost gave it 3 stars, but I respected your work.

06/02/2026: I stopped by chance for dinner. I was on my way to eat elsewhere but entered La Cantina, captivated by the view from the outside and without any prior information. I was greeted by a very kind young woman who was very attentive in understanding exactly what I wanted and who, throughout the dinner, always returned at the right time, never earlier or later. The place did not disappoint the expectations I had formed from the outside, meticulously cared for in every detail, such as on the wall next to my table, a display case with antique mechanical alarm clocks. I ordered an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses and a delicious, slightly spicy jam, then moved on to the first course, tagliolini with white ragù and porcini mushrooms, and finished with a salted caramel cheesecake. Every dish was beautifully presented; the tagliolini with ragù was truly sublime, the white ragù and porcini mushrooms were extraordinary together, and the dessert was also excellent. I will definitely return; I think it's a must-see in Polistena. Price in line with quality and quantity.

27/03/2026: A bakery where you can also enjoy breakfast with a delicious coffee at the lowest price in Reggio. Extremely friendly and courteous staff. Convenient parking is also available. The bakery's baking studio is open to the public.

We wanted to celebrate our wedding in a farmhouse, with traditional cuisine, in a rustic yet well-kept location, surrounded by nature and with beautiful outdoor spaces: the classic "Italian-style" wedding we'd always dreamed of. Here we found all this and much more. Writing a simple review seems almost reductive to describe the experience we had. From our first meeting, we felt welcomed and listened to: Arianna guided us with professionalism, availability, and rare kindness through every single decision, helping us organize every detail with serenity and attention. The location is simply wonderful: authentic, capable of showcasing the Calabrian tradition and atmosphere to the fullest. Every corner is cared for down to the smallest detail and helped make our day even more special. The cuisine won over all our guests: traditional dishes prepared with quality ingredients, abundant, authentic, and presented with great care. The staff was impeccable, always present but never intrusive, attentive to every need and capable of making both us and our guests feel pampered. A heartfelt thank you to everyone, especially the owners, for making our dream a reality and for giving us a day we will cherish forever. If you're looking for a venue that combines beauty, professionalism, excellent cuisine, and authentic Calabrian hospitality, we can't recommend it highly enough. We would choose this place a thousand times over. ❤️

09/06/2026: We celebrated our wedding vows at the beautiful Masseria Adornato, and we couldn't have made a better choice! The venue is meticulously designed, with an atmosphere that enchanted all our guests. ​A special thank you goes to Arianna and Giò, who, with their great professionalism and invaluable advice on the menu and decor, made the evening a success. Excellent food, impeccable service, and a beautiful evening we will always remember.
