I've been frequenting this restaurant in Motta San Giovanni, Reggio Calabria, for several years, and every time they manage to surprise me like it was the first time. It's one of those rare places where, as soon as you enter, you feel truly special: the attention, kindness, and professionalism of the staff create a unique, familiar, yet elegant atmosphere. The cuisine is haute, refined, and carefully crafted. Each dish is a sublime little experience: carefully selected ingredients, refined combinations, and impeccable presentation. The dishes are meticulously crafted, conceived and crafted with a precision that reveals a profound passion for the culinary arts. My birthday lunch was the most emotional moment: without any prior planning, they prepared the cake and sparkling wine, transforming a simple meal into a beautiful memory. Everything was perfect, everything was spontaneous, everything was done with love. A gesture worth a thousand words. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend the dish of the day or a good local wine, making the experience even more authentic. The real highlight is the food. The cuisine is a tribute to tradition: bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and expertly executed recipes. A word of warning: go on an empty stomach! The portions are truly generous, and the price is excellent. It's a perfect place for those who are truly hungry.

07/11/2025: Friendly staff, clean and tidy environment. We stopped for a pizza while passing through. Prices were average, maybe even a little less than others. We ordered a vegetable pizza. The dough wasn't bad, but overall the pizza was very dry. We left half of it.

27/08/2025: We came to Delianuova to indulge in Scutellà's desserts, and we did. Each one was better than the last, especially the sospiri, and the gelato was equally delicious, just the right amount of sweet and creamy. And the price was below average, too.

27/08/2025: It's definitely worth it. I had a selection of pastries and a brioche gelato, and everything was delicious. The ricotta in the cannoli was delicious, as was the custard and pistachio cream in the cream puffs. The sospiri were phenomenal. The place is very well-kept and the desserts are beautifully displayed. The service is friendly and the prices are very fair considering the high quality. A must-try!

18/08/2025: Absolutely delicious and very nice, simple yet friendly atmosphere. My fritto misto and Aperol Spritz were absolutely delicious. The waiter was very attentive to my garlic and onion allergies. Thank you so much, guys. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming, simple but without any of the negative or presumptuous attitude I had previously encountered at Undamaris, but thanks to them I discovered Covo del Barone.

The staff is very friendly and professional, always attentive to each table, which is served quickly and with great care. The food is excellent in both quality and quantity, very tasty and flavorful. The various sandwiches are large, and the ingredients are more than adequate. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend a pleasant evening with family or friends, sipping an excellent draft beer and enjoying a delicious burger.

17/05/2026: Excellent place! We had spritzes, arancini, and pistachio tiramisu (excellent, I highly recommend it). The prices are reasonable considering the location, and the welcome was warm (there was a bit of a wait to be served as it was very busy).

17/05/2026: "Unfortunately, a truly disappointing experience. The waiter outside was friendly and tried his best, but seemed completely overwhelmed and, frankly, almost pitiable. While he was running around like crazy from table to table outside, several employees inside at the bar were just standing around or working in pairs at the cash register. The restaurant's organization was, unfortunately, completely disorganized. We waited about 15 minutes just to have someone take our order. In total, it then took almost an hour for the food to arrive – even though much of it seemed like reheated convenience food. Everything was heated in the microwave! The wait time was completely unjustifiable for that. When the food finally arrived, it wasn't even properly piping hot, but in some places almost cold. While the taste wasn't completely bad, it was far from what one would expect at those prices. The value for money was particularly disappointing: As you can see in the picture, €9 for a small fish skewer – you really have to wonder if you're in Milan or Calabria. Overall, a real disappointment." A very disappointing experience. With better organization, faster service, fairer prices, and fresher food, the place definitely has potential. As it is, there's still a lot of room for improvement.
