05/10/2025: Excellent food, good service Unfortunately, the evening was ruined by four or five children who, unsupervised by their parents, ran around the room doing all sorts of things, screaming and running, and this left us unable to relax.

28/09/2025: Located high up, besides offering excellent cuisine, you can watch the sunset and enjoy a fantastic view of Stromboli, Panarea, and the rest of the Aeolian Islands. A tip for everyone: go there.

29/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place by accident while visiting Palmi, and it turned out to be a very tasty one! 😊 The lemon granita was perfectly refreshing, the brioche was fresh and delicate, simply delicious! I highly recommend it!

03/09/2025: We tried a few gelato flavors, and not all of them were good/worthy of repeat purchase. As a pistachio lover, I couldn't resist trying this one, and unfortunately, I was disappointed by the somewhat artificial flavor, which wasn't at all close to pistachio (more like a flavoring/powder), the same goes for other commercial flavors (like Kinder Bueno). The dark chocolate and fruit flavors, however, were very good.

28/08/2025: The place is beautiful, but I'd laugh about it. The place itself is nice, but it's not very hygienic. I've had the croissant and the amaretti twice in a row, and I found a blond hair in both. My question is: Are they the owner's or the bartender's? Also, some employees have revealed that if something falls on the back of the counter, it gets put away and served to the customers. I won't set foot there again because a place this dirty would ruin my white shoes. Kind regards, and please issue receipts.

24/08/2025: Unbeatable product and service. If you're passing through Caulonia Marina, you have to meet the bar staff. Especially Valentina, a charming waitress, and Luciano, the bar manager (in our opinion) and the most popular man in the area. A must-visit!

16/09/2025: September 13, 2025 The Orchidea restaurant was the absolute protagonist of the most beautiful day of my life, my wedding. The hosts, Susanna and Sebastiano (two fantastic people), managed to organize the civil ceremony with the mayor and the wedding dinner in two separate rooms, outdoors, with a truly wonderful setting. The first part of the civil ceremony was celebrated in front of the upper pool, with numerous white chairs all decorated with flowers, a white carpet in the middle with two poufs and a floral arch, all impeccably lit, creating a moving atmosphere. The second part of the wedding dinner was organized in the ground-floor pool, in front of a lawn, with all the tables in the center and the aperitif stations all around, where my guests and all of us savored a menu of appetizers, almost entirely fish, with some meat, of indescribable deliciousness. Fish cooked in the most diverse ways, with a wide selection of courses. The appetizers were rich, plentiful, and delicious. The three first courses and two second courses, served at the table, were a huge success, with requests for more, which were not lacking. The organization of the kitchen and the dining room deserved top marks. The entire staff was fast, helpful, and kind. The final menu, featuring the wedding cake and an endless dessert buffet, was a resounding success. A variety of desserts, of indescribable deliciousness. I must and want to sincerely thank Susanna and Sebastiano for their professionalism, availability, kindness, friendliness, and humility. You managed to make my day a dream come true. I recommend all Calabrians and Italians who pass by the Orchidea to stop by and create your own unforgettable moment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart... 17/08/2025: What can I say... The place that saved our evening. Arriving well after 10 pm, we were greeted with kindness and friendliness by the owner and were served very quickly with the dishes from the kitchen, especially since we had been told we would have a long wait for the pizza. Generous portions, like true Calabrians 😉, and delicious. The house antipasto was delicious and typical, and the rasping pizza was also very tasty. The kindness and helpfulness of everyone truly impressed and captivated us. We will definitely be back for the pizza, which we learned is also made for celiacs by the pizza chef. 14/08/2025: The food was amazing, everyone was so kind, highly recommended! The swordfish parmigiana was amazing! Thank you. The quality and price were very fair.

12/10/2025: Terrible. We waited over half an hour just to get our order, which they didn't even know how to take... after a two-hour wait, we ate a few appetizers, which were also very salty, and in the end we left without lunch. It was a huge disappointment. Highly not recommended.

12/10/2025: It was supposed to be a Sunday at the end of summer. We chose to go to this restaurant where I had eaten a few years ago and was satisfied. We arrived at 1:30 PM as per our reservation. We sat down, and around 2:00 PM a waiter arrived and we ordered our entire lunch. Around 2:45 PM, we were served our appetizers, with some dishes that hadn't been listed on our order at all. Around 3:30 PM, after several requests, we asked how much longer we had for the entrees and were told at least half an hour. At this point, I asked for the bill and left. I understand that the restaurant was fully booked, but if you can serve 50 people, you also have to have enough staff in the kitchen. You can't just charge people and make them wait 3-4 hours at their table. It was an experience to forget, and I'll never go back. I'd suggest that the owners, since they're on social media, read the reviews every now and then to improve. P.s. Many people were complaining about the long wait times.

27/07/2025: Camini welcomes you with a warm welcome. The cooperative is the realization of a future project for local youth and the integration of their sons and daughters arriving from other countries. Come and eat their delicious pizza, in a square filled with the sounds of children playing!

17/08/2025: *A must-see on the Ionian coast!* The property is surrounded by citrus and olive groves. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, the food is locally sourced and authentic, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Laura, with her unbiased but spot-on advice on places to visit, made our holiday even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for those seeking a relaxing and authentic stay.

16/08/2025: I spent a few days at this agriturismo and it was a truly pleasant surprise. Surrounded by olive and citrus groves, it's the perfect place to relax and connect with Calabria's fragrant, authentic nature. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The rooms are simple but clean, and the location is excellent, allowing you to reach the sea and all the picturesque villages of Locride. I highly recommend it.

24/09/2025: I was passing through and stopped at this café for the first time. I noticed, in addition to the friendly staff, a vast selection of croissants and various pastries. The cappuccino was also good. Recommended.

25/08/2025: We visited this pastry shop after reading the excellent reviews, and I must say I fully agree with the quality and deliciousness of the products. They have a wide selection for breakfast. A special mention goes to the kindness, courtesy, and helpfulness of the owner—qualities that are unfortunately rare these days. Highly recommended!

24/08/2025: A name that's a sure thing. I've been going there since I was little, and now that I'm back in Calabria for the holidays, it's a regular stop! Even my girls can't wait to go to Scocchieri ♥️ We love the wonderful brioche gelato.

09/08/2025: If I could, I would give it 1,000 stars. Excellent brioches and ice cream. And the staff is extraordinarily kind. While on vacation in Locri with the kids, we discovered this place by chance and ate the best brioches here, most of the time hot straight from the oven. A quick note for the staff: We've tried brioches elsewhere, but yours are the best. I congratulate you on your work and also on your kindness. Not to mention the fact that we don't speak Italian, and you welcomed us with the same kindness and smiles as your usual Italian customers. Thank you, and also thank you for the free ice cream when I misunderstood what my daughter wanted. We're from Belgium, and that doesn't exist there. We order the wrong things, and we, the customers, are responsible. Congratulations again for your dedication, and we can't wait to come back next year. All the best!

27/08/2025: It's definitely worth it. I had a selection of pastries and a brioche gelato, and everything was delicious. The ricotta in the cannoli was delicious, as was the custard and pistachio cream in the cream puffs. The sospiri were phenomenal. The place is very well-kept and the desserts are beautifully displayed. The service is friendly and the prices are very fair considering the high quality. A must-try!

27/08/2025: We came to Delianuova to indulge in Scutellà's desserts, and we did. Each one was better than the last, especially the sospiri, and the gelato was equally delicious, just the right amount of sweet and creamy. And the price was below average, too.

27/08/2025: Tasty dishes, friendly and fast staff, it's certainly a favorite place of ours. The quantity of food is more abundant once again, but I understand that at the same time it changes. I recommend trying it.

09/05/2025: I was here on Sunday after a tour of Musaba which is just a few minutes away. Easy place to get to, ample parking. Smiling and hospitable staff with great attention to customers. Excellent cleanliness in all rooms including bathrooms. Excellent food, we had a mixed starter of stockfish and then 2 first courses (Stroncatura and Corte al Giumani) and 2 second courses (classic stockfish and gratinated with Bergamot) accompanied by a house wine. We left full and satisfied with the bill, more than fair. There is no doubt that we will return!
