02/09/2024: Informale e piuttosto spartano davanti un bel tratto di spiaggia con musica di Vasco in sottofondo. Dentice al sale appena pescato tra i più teneri e carnosi mai mangiati. Insalate mista o di pomodori misere. Olio in bottiglia con etichetta Evo molto discutibile. Prezzi superiori alla media. Servizio gentile da parte di Maria e Rocco.

03/12/2024: Rosticceria gastronomia situata a Gioia Tauro, in zona centrale. Locale molto carino e pulito. Ampia scelta di primi e secondi piatti, servizio rapido e cordiale. Buono il baccalà fritto ed anche gli involtini di pesce spada. Prezzi onesti.

11/01/2025: Bed without breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms, unfortunately it is not possible to have breakfast, at most you can use the coffee machine located at the base of the stairs. The owner very helpful and kind. The location is convenient both for reaching the sea and for visiting the surroundings, except that you necessarily have to travel by your own means. The prices are excellent. Advised.

06/01/2025: The bill is a little high for the quantities served and the place is not at the top for cleanliness. The baked potatoes were delicious but the white seabream was almost invisible for the price. Appreciable coffee and dessert.

01/01/2025: I happened upon it by chance this summer and it was a very pleasant experience - from all points of view - and as soon as I returned to Reggio 3 months later it was my first stop. The girl and owner are very kind, I like her because she shares her enthusiasm and passion for her work. I recommend you go there both in summer and winter (possibly around Christmas) it is a magic of taste and flavours.

14/02/2025: Esperienza mai fatta in vita mia, mi auguro che sono stato l'unico, San Valentino prenoto, arriviamo in ristorante io e mia moglie, ci sediamo sono le 21.40 sala piena, passa mezz'ora nessuno arriva passa Altra mezz'ora invito a prendere l'ordine ma nulla di fatto, arriva una coppia praticamente alle 22.30 si siede e dopo nemmeno mezz'ora gli arriva la pizza, molto probabilmente un amico del titolare, mia moglie dice ovviamente non è giusto da noi nemmeno l'ombra di ordinare, decidiamo di alzarsi pagare la birra e andare via spiegando alla signora alla cassa quello che successo, la risposta 🤷 tipo a me che mi frega , ovviamente rovinando così il nostro San valentino, che menomale che c'era il Mac aperto, gente che non sa gestire.

27/01/2025: Abbiamo prenotato con le migliori intenzioni: pranzare a base di pesce in uno dei migliori ristoranti disponibili sul nostro tragitto, a prezzi ragionevoli. L'esperienza è stata un pò diversa. Nei paccheri con spada e melanzane il pesce si limitava a tre pezzetti piccoli. I due nostri primi piatti erano chiaramente meno abbondanti di quelli serviti nella tavola accanto alla nostra, dove diversi commensali erano persone della zona, evidentemente conosciute al ristorante. Discorso analogo per il secondo a base di sogliola: il cuoco che ce l'ha proposta ci ha mostrato una sogliola lunga 35/40 cm., di non più di 500 grammi di peso a crudo, da deliscare. E infatti nel piatto le nostre porzioni erano meno di 150 grammi ciascuno. Ma a conti fatti il peso che ci è stato fatturato è stato di 950 grammi. È sufficiente fare una breve ricerca online per rendersi conto che una sogliola non supera i 400/500 grammi di peso. La nostra impressione - e ripeto: è una mera impressione - è stata di aver pagato di più di quello che avremmo dovuto pagare. Forse la loro bilancia era guasta ... 😁 Io e mia moglie facciamo la spesa tutti i giorni e spesso acquistiamo i filetti di sogliola o di branzino, perfettamente consapevoli del peso di ogni filetto. Insomma, non è piacevole essere trattati in questo modo per il solo fatto di essere turisti di passaggio. Sulla qualità del pesce nulla da eccepire: era fresco e ben cucinato. Ma nulla di più e di meglio di come avremmo saputo cucinarlo a casa. Insomma, un pranzo senza infamia e senza lode, ma costato sicuramente il 25-30% in più di quanto abbiamo pagato per esempio a Scilla (in un altro ristorante) con la medesima qualità ma con una cucina che abbiamo apprezzato di più per l'originalità e la fantasia che il cuoco ha saputo dimostrare.

15/09/2024: Chemimangio was a real discovery! We ordered a one meter pizza and a "Sazizzo" sandwich, respecting tradition, and we were extremely satisfied. The pizza was perfectly cooked, with a soft and light, yet crunchy dough, and every ingredient was of high quality. The Sazizzo sandwich, then, was a real delight: tasty and plentiful, with a perfect balance of flavours. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere welcoming. If you are looking for a place to enjoy excellent pizza and local specialities, Chemimangio is a winning choice!

19/10/2024: Ate delicious swordfish rolls and octopus rolls, straight away at the beach. Personally, I think the ambience was original and the service was friendly, even spoke a bit of English, using the toilet was an adventure, but after all we are talking about a beach shack and not a luxury hotel. ;)

19/10/2024: Good morning, beautiful place, very well looked after both inside and outside. Very kind staff, punctual and fast service. I tried both the pizzas and the restaurant, I was pleasantly impressed. What to add, if you are in Siderno, you can't miss going there!
