26/02/2024: What I must say even today I was amazed by the cuisine of this little restaurant a small village in Calabria near Gioia Tauro recommended by some local friends for fresh fish, sometimes I am enchanted being a fish taster traveling around Italy both North or South and for the excellence on the cuisine and traditional dishes of our nation, and ours wealth that we do not know how to evaluate well and make known mostly small villages with great restaurants and excellent chefs. Nice little place, friendly, traditional, excellent cleanliness, ate some excellent mixed starters recommended by the owner with anchovy, boiled cut octopus, a kind of excellent delicate vegetable and fish pie or a fried floured prawn etc. a specialty the owner, hearing that I come from the North, wanted us to taste some very small fried squids I must say delicacy of taste and freshness I must say few times eaten so tasty fresh of the day. Then as a first course a plate of very tasty spaghetti with cuttlefish ink, excellent cooking of pasta accompanied by an excellent red wine from a well-known Calabrian winery. A sorbet and coffee, excellent service and the owner was very kind and courteous towards us this being my first time coming to this place. Fair price highly recommended.
