25/10/2025: A place where you can find nothing short of exceptional struncatura! Unique flavors that can only be found in this area... Like the Chiano olives, which give the dish an unmistakable edge... I find all the dishes on the menu very tasty and carefully prepared, and even after years, I've rediscovered a relaxing and magical atmosphere... The tender, high-quality meat is also a local product... The quality/price ratio is very competitive. Highly recommended...

03/10/2025: There were four of us and we had a truly wonderful time. The place is welcoming, modern, and meticulously crafted. The service was excellent, with the staff being incredibly friendly. The Pinza was a real discovery: crispy on the outside, soft and well-risen on the inside, with top-quality toppings. We also tried the arancini: perfectly fried, evenly browned, impeccably crispy, and not at all greasy, just the right amount of moisture. The desserts were a revelation, a worthy end to an already excellent dinner. Highly recommended!

Refined attention to every detail and flavor... a first course with the catch of the day with a citrus aroma like nothing you've ever tasted before... every ingredient is on the palate, the lime and bergamot are unique aromas... a Sicilian-style swordfish with a softness and a truly Wow-like aroma of the sea... and a delicate and enveloping red fruit crème brûlée... a refined cellar with wines, spirits, cheeses, and refined details... a wonderful experience for our area, where tradition and innovation blend with great art... go there and congratulations to the Scali family... 💝

26/10/2025: We went to this place for the first time today... new, very welcoming and well-kept... very kind staff and above all excellent food... for my celiac son everything was excellent... in fact they prepared delicious potato croquettes for him on the spot... top desserts... highly recommended and we will be back soon

22/10/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this pizzeria, and I can say it was a truly enjoyable experience. The place is extremely welcoming and clean, with a warm, family atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The owners are exceptional: helpful, friendly, and always attentive to their customers' every need and request. The same goes for the entire staff, whose professionalism and smiles made our evening even more enjoyable. As for the menu, I can only describe it as exceptional. Each dish is prepared with extreme care, and you can immediately see the attention paid to the pairings and the quality of the ingredients used. The pizza is perfect, with fresh, tasty ingredients. I can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try excellent pizza in a homey atmosphere.

05/10/2025: An exceptional experience at Schiccio! My boyfriend and I were amazed by the location, the service, and the dishes. The set menu is €37 per person. We were greeted by the smiling and friendly staff, and we left the table feeling full and happy after eating typical local products, cooked to perfection. We'll definitely be back!

03/10/2025: We had lunch last Tuesday. What can I say? The food, courtesy, service, availability, location, and price were all top notch. Thanks to the staff for their exquisite kindness. Next time we pass through Mammola, it will be a must-visit.

13/09/2025: We went for lunch, fortunately booking a few days in advance, with foreign, non-Italian friends and restaurateurs. The management has changed again; I'd been there before to celebrate an event or something else, so I needed to test them out... The place is always well-kept and meticulously maintained—they've closed off the outdoor area, which is beautiful to look at and more functional. They have a lot of people waiting on tables, which isn't always a given, so we chose quickly. The food arrived quickly, very quickly, in fact, and it made me suspicious. Aside from the cold dishes, the hot appetizers were reheated and it was noticeable... the first courses were pre-cooked, and the second courses were also reheated. I was honestly very disappointed because I was sitting with other professionals at my table, besides me! The price is in line with other restaurants in the area, but honestly, I wouldn't go back... there are much better ones nearby!

07/09/2025: At this kiosk, we had a brioche with bergamot gelato and fig granita. The bergamot gelato was amazing!! The flavor was delicate, but you could still taste the bergamot. The fig granita was the fruit!! During our vacation in Calabria, we tried bergamot gelato several times, and we weren't thrilled because it always had an aftertaste of..."detergent"... My advice is to try the bergamot gelato from the La Cattolica kiosk, and then tell me... ;)

26/09/2025: Just as we were leaving Gerace, we happened upon this pastry shop where we had a delicious gelato with brioche. The gelato was creamy, with authentic flavors, and plentiful. The staff were young, quick, and friendly.

04/10/2025: We ate here while visiting Gerace, and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, and we were served by a wonderful woman who made us feel at home and pampered. Highly recommended.

26/09/2025: We went to Ristorante A Squella in Gerace, planning on eating fish, but alas, fish wasn't on the menu. The place was inviting, so much so that we decided to order it anyway. The homemade antipasto was delicious, full of homemade products that immediately won us over. And then, the pasta... The "Pasta Casereccia A-Squella" was truly sublime! We immediately identified the sausage, 'nduja, and scamorza, but there were other secret ingredients we couldn't discover. Everything was expertly measured, creating a unique and authentic flavor, typical of Calabria. Ristorante A Squella in Gerace RC Guys, it's worth the trip.

23/09/2025: We're passing through Villa San Giovanni and are intrigued by the reviews of this place. Great idea! Let's find a place where you can eat, it's great: for quality and ideas! Excellent beers, and very friendly and professional! I loved the beer ice cream! Fair prices... for me, a Milanese. 😊

10/10/2025: This is a family run restaurant, and the service and food are excellent. It is a place locals go, and it is obvious why. The pasta and seafood was perfectly done. And the building is very unique on the inside, with vaulted brick ceilings. You cannot go wrong choosing to eat here.
