My good friends invited us out for lunch. We are in Briatico and they live in Siderno. The trip up from Siderno was stunning, we even had to stop for a goat crossing. Up in the mountains this place just has that authentic feel. If you can find it...with reservations made at least a few weeks out...it is well worth it. There were 15 anti-pasta dishes followed by two very tasty pasta dishes. Delicious and an experience you don't get in Canada. My wife and I were very pleasantly surprised.

A truly SPECIAL lunch at La Collinetta in Gioiosa Jonica, where the kindness and courtesy of the staff are top-notch: they make you feel immediately at home and cared for at every step. The quality of the food was truly fabulous, with authentic flavors and dishes prepared with attention to detail. Considering the quality offered, the price is completely justified, making for a balanced experience that's definitely worth repeating. Congratulations to all the staff 👏🏼

Exceptional food. From the appetizers to the main courses, to the meats and desserts, everything was truly excellent. The service was courteous and prompt despite the restaurant being packed. The prices were more than fair.

One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten. The antipasti's just kept on coming and were all delicious. We skipped the primo, as we were already exploding, but the main course was also superb. The price of everything was also great. I have never seen a better value-for-money ratio for any restaurant.

26/05/2026: A restaurant serving homemade Calabrian food in a lovely, rustic, and very welcoming setting. Everything was spotless, and the service was quick and attentive. We ordered two pasta dishes: the pasta casereccia ai funghi porcini, which was delicious! We wanted to try the paccheri alla pistacchiosa, but they were out, so we ordered the stroncatura alla San Giovannino, which we didn't particularly enjoy, unfortunately. They were very kind; we only ordered one dessert to share, which was also delicious and homemade—fig jam—and they brought us a complimentary shot of almond liqueur and some dried pastries. We highly recommend it.

16/05/2026: Delicious food. You can taste authentic Calabrian cuisine here. We ordered antipasti, and that's where we should have stopped, as the portion was really big for two people. But I have to admit, the two main courses were equally delicious. The service was great! We highly recommend this place! It's worth making a reservation in advance, as seating is hard to find.
14/05/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant and found the atmosphere pleasant and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and recommended traditional menus with excellent quality ingredients. Recommended.
