21/05/2025: Great experience. Precise and kind service, waiting times appropriate to the turnout in the place. Varied menu, from fish (shown fresh to customers) to fried foods to the obvious pizzas. It is precisely on the latter and the fried foods that I can say my piece: excellent pizza with a lot of attention given to both the dough and the toppings. The margherita with basil pesto was truly memorable, delicious. As for fried foods, we had the chips (strictly not frozen) with cheddar and bacon, also excellent. Very very well-kept place, modern and trendy style, essential in every part yet expertly researched in the details invisible to the eye. Very very very chic. An excellent example of great attention to detail in a very busy context such as Soverato. Absolutely promoted and highly recommended.

04/05/2025: Very nice atmosphere, discreet service, pizza worth reviewing, I think the mozzarella (if it was mozzarella) and tomato are very poor, without salt.

29/06/2025: The food and atmosphere were okay. Unfortunately, there's a dog running loose there. It runs wildly all along the beach. We were eating chicken while sunbathing on the beach, and it jumped on our things, wanting a piece of it. According to the signage, dogs are prohibited there!

23/06/2025: I have been a customer with my family and friends for a few years at the Trocadero lido. I want to write a review for the restaurant and in particular for Rosy, daughter of the owner Andrea, who is the chef this year. I had a fish-based dinner with some of my friends who were guests on holiday, and I must say that we were very satisfied, fresh fish cooked with the genuine flavours of our beloved Calabria: oil, tomato, onions, DOP... Rosy delighted us with her skill for 2 evenings. Satisfied with the quality as well as the price. I will definitely repeat with friends and relatives when I return in July for the longest summer holidays. Maria Vittoria

22/06/2025: The photos on the site are old, the place is very (for years) neglected, prices are as they want, my nephews went for breakfast, two croissants for a coffee they charged €6.50, when they asked why so much (thinking that maybe they got the sums wrong), they were told, that they took the large croissants, and they stopped at 2.50, despite the price of 1.50 they put it after a week. Not recommended.

25/05/2025: I won't comment, I'm celiac and they literally put two things on my plate as an "appetizer" if you can call it that. raw pasta and the rest I won't comment on. 45€ for nothing, shame

25/05/2025: Terrible restaurant, both the service and the food, not to mention the gluten-free one. I strongly advise against it. Don't go there, you want to throw your money in the garbage. In addition, the owner is rude and arrogant

22/03/2025: It was very tasty😍We waited for the order for about 15 minutes and ate it in a couple of minutes😍This is the most delicious pizza I have eaten in restaurants😍 We also live around the corner, 10 steps away! There are always a lot of people here! We already want to come here again😍The pizza is wonderful and the card with cheese is also fire🔥🔥🔥🔥

05/03/2025: The pizzas are to die for! The “Caprese” starter with the delicious pizza bread was also highly recommended. The staff is also very friendly. So we ate here twice during our short vacation.

01/12/2024: Il posto giusto dove mangiare del buon pesce (freschissimo), con vista mare avendo un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Personale gentilissimo e piatti davvero gustosi. Consigliatissimo.

15/09/2024: Locale sul mare con un bel panorama, peccato per la cucina che potrebbe migliorare di parecchio considerando anche i prezzi. Se dovete accompagnare una pietanza con verdure o limone assicuratevi almeno che siano presentabili.

22/02/2025: Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Stay To anyone thinking of staying at this so called hotel, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. This was our second stay here due to its proximity to family, but unfortunately the experience was far from satisfactory. Our first stay was seven years ago, when the hotel was still under renovation. At that time we had few accommodation options and it was the only place close to the family. This year, however, things have drastically worsened. We stayed December 31st and January 1st, then returned after our trip to Sicily to spend more time with family. Unfortunately, the standard of care during our return was extremely disappointing. Initially, we were given the same room near the elevator on level 3, which was dilapidated and noisy due to thin walls and elevator noises. The room had not been cleaned properly, with visible dust on the furniture, a non-functioning heated towel rail, a rusty corner shower rail and a musty smell. Luckily we had a few sunny days and a balcony with broken tiles that allowed us to open the windows to let in fresh air. Upon our return we were moved to another room near the elevator on the first floor. Although the heat worked this time, the phone didn't. After reporting the problem and leaving a note for room service, no immediate action was taken. It was only when we continued that the manager came to inspect and admitted that the phone line was faulty. He said he would look into the matter. The heat had been set to a non-adjustable temperature and only after we reset it did we have a working heater. The next day we still had no phone in the room and the problem was never resolved. Early the next day, the room service staff knocked on our door to clean the room. When I asked for them to come later in the day, as we had just woken up after a late night, I was told they couldn't, as it was finishing early. There was no room service that day. When we discussed our experience with the manager, from room maintenance issues, to dao service. Our conversation turned into one where the manager had total disdain for the tone of voice he was using, total arrogance, false accusations so that there was no accountability on his part for how you treat customers. He refused to acknowledge that our legitimate concerns were extremely disappointing. It has become clear that the hotel owner/manager believes his hotel is the only accommodation option in Lamezia Terme. However, given the condition of the accommodation and the attitude of the management, which they say justify the 4 star rating, it is clear that this hotel is far from the standards it claims to meet. I highly recommend staying anywhere other than this one as there are other options nearby or even in Nicastro, a town not far from Lamezia Terme, which offers better access to nightlife and restaurants. This hotel is not worth the 4 stars it claims to be. I have been to many 4 star hotels and I really have to say that this hotel has a lot of improvements to make not only in renovations but also in staff training with customer service. I hope this review helps others avoid the same frustrating experience and get better service and cleanliness for their money. ]
