15/07/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in questo posto durarnte la nostra vacanza a Squillace Lido (02/07/2025). Siamo stati attratti dai prezzi esposti fuori all'ingresso: buoni e in linea con quelli di queste zone. Siamo stati accolti da una signora senza menù che ci ha consigliato dei piatti...e sconsigliato l'antipasto ...altrimenti non saremmo stati in grado di finirlo per quanto abbondante!!! Quindi abbiamo ordinato un primo e due secondi: linguine con le vongole, una frittura mista e una seppia grigliata. Qualità dei piatti mediocre e pochissima quantità. Ma non siamo rimasti sorpresi...perchè con i prezzi esposti c'era da aspettarselo (menù fisso da 16 o 20 euro). Purtroppo siamo rimasti sorpresi quando alla cassa abbiamo pagato ogni misero singolo piatto 15 euro....un furto. Sicuramente le persone del posto e gli habitué vengono serviti con piatti più abbondanti e prezzi in linea con quelli esposti. Credono di fare grassi affari raggirando gli avventori occasionali. Durante la nostra settimana di permanenza abbiamo provato molti altri posti ...e questo è stato il peggiore: pessimo in tutto, soprattutto nei modi di fare molto ambigui.

12/07/2025: Una stella è già troppo! Antipasti pietosi: li chiamano “di mare”, ma di mare c’erano solo quattro cozze, il resto tutto in salamoia e super salato. La pizza niente di che. Ho insistito per andarci perché volevo provarlo, ma è stata solo una grande delusione! Prezzi tutto sommato accettabili per i tempi che corrono, ma non chiaramente indicati sul menù.

03/07/2025: Every time I am in Soverato, a stop at Chocolat to taste the warm croissants has always been an essential tradition. Unfortunately, this year something has changed… I did not find the soft and tasty croissant of past years, but a version with generous dimensions, yes, but with a disappointing taste and consistency. Even though it was served warm, the inside was dry and some parts were surprisingly crunchy, thus losing that soft fragrance that made it special. We also tried two crêpes that, although not exceptional, were still pleasant.

19/08/2025: We stopped here on our hike along the Sentiero Italia. In addition to a delicious dinner, we were able to pitch our tent in the picnic area. The nearby campground is accessible only to campers registered with a specific association. Thanks again for your help!

06/08/2025: The house antipasto is made with natural, high-quality ingredients. The tagliata is delicious and plentiful. The price for 1 tagliata, 1 appetizer, 1 burger, 1 French fry, 1 zucchini fritter, 1 bottle of water, and 1/4 rosé wine is €45.

05/08/2025: We're regulars at McDonald's, and we occasionally stop at the drive-thru. But lately, we've noticed a decline in service. We've already had our orders incorrectly ordered twice: once, they forgot the promotional beach towel, and the fries were also wrong, so much so that I had to return them. The other night, however, they made the wrong sandwich. It's a shame, because that never happened before. They're really losing ground.

18/06/2025: I was there for my nephew's 18th birthday...beautiful location even if a bit neglected. Really good food but the staff is to be avoided at all costs. Especially the owner's sister. For this reason alone I wouldn't go back.

04/08/2025: Terrible service!!! All the staff were rude!!! The food was uncooked, burned, and extremely dirty!! They worked without headphones... without cutlery, with the presumption of having to eat with their hands... not even plastic ones... beer brought to your table without unopened glasses. In short, I strongly recommend closing this business down.

24/07/2025: Good food, mind you, but terrible service. I made a reservation by phone for 8:30 pm. When I got to the restaurant, they made me wait 55 minutes, as if we hadn't booked. This wasn't new, as it had happened several times before, but at least apologize for the delay, as good manners dictate.

04/08/2025: Un’ora di tempo per l’arrivo di due pizze a locale parzialmente vuoto (giustificati con il pizzaiolo che si era perso la comanda). Antipasto con mozzarelline in carrozza appena scongelate. Pizze recapitate (dopo 1 ora, appunto!) della qualità di un surgelatore medio da supermercato. Peccato, 2 anni fa facevano un altro sport. Non consigliato

06/05/2025: By booking with theFork the venue applies higher prices than those applied to other customers so the 30% promotional discount makes no sense. The owner claims that it is permitted by theFork but theFork customer service I contacted responded: "... I would like to inform you that our partner restaurants are required to reserve the same treatment for all customers, whether they have booked with TheFork or not. It is therefore not allowed to have a double menu with different prices just because you have booked with TheFork. ..." The owner told me that it wasn't convenient for him to use TheFork and that he wanted to give it a try; I replied that the convenience had to be assessed first and that in any case with the -30% promo he could gain new customers like me; he replied that he doesn't need new customers.

22/02/2025: Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Stay To anyone thinking of staying at this so called hotel, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. This was our second stay here due to its proximity to family, but unfortunately the experience was far from satisfactory. Our first stay was seven years ago, when the hotel was still under renovation. At that time we had few accommodation options and it was the only place close to the family. This year, however, things have drastically worsened. We stayed December 31st and January 1st, then returned after our trip to Sicily to spend more time with family. Unfortunately, the standard of care during our return was extremely disappointing. Initially, we were given the same room near the elevator on level 3, which was dilapidated and noisy due to thin walls and elevator noises. The room had not been cleaned properly, with visible dust on the furniture, a non-functioning heated towel rail, a rusty corner shower rail and a musty smell. Luckily we had a few sunny days and a balcony with broken tiles that allowed us to open the windows to let in fresh air. Upon our return we were moved to another room near the elevator on the first floor. Although the heat worked this time, the phone didn't. After reporting the problem and leaving a note for room service, no immediate action was taken. It was only when we continued that the manager came to inspect and admitted that the phone line was faulty. He said he would look into the matter. The heat had been set to a non-adjustable temperature and only after we reset it did we have a working heater. The next day we still had no phone in the room and the problem was never resolved. Early the next day, the room service staff knocked on our door to clean the room. When I asked for them to come later in the day, as we had just woken up after a late night, I was told they couldn't, as it was finishing early. There was no room service that day. When we discussed our experience with the manager, from room maintenance issues, to dao service. Our conversation turned into one where the manager had total disdain for the tone of voice he was using, total arrogance, false accusations so that there was no accountability on his part for how you treat customers. He refused to acknowledge that our legitimate concerns were extremely disappointing. It has become clear that the hotel owner/manager believes his hotel is the only accommodation option in Lamezia Terme. However, given the condition of the accommodation and the attitude of the management, which they say justify the 4 star rating, it is clear that this hotel is far from the standards it claims to meet. I highly recommend staying anywhere other than this one as there are other options nearby or even in Nicastro, a town not far from Lamezia Terme, which offers better access to nightlife and restaurants. This hotel is not worth the 4 stars it claims to be. I have been to many 4 star hotels and I really have to say that this hotel has a lot of improvements to make not only in renovations but also in staff training with customer service. I hope this review helps others avoid the same frustrating experience and get better service and cleanliness for their money. ]

19/07/2025: Esperienza negativa, mancanza di organizzazione, sono arrivate prima le pizze e solo dopo le patatine, mentre mangiavamo le pizze, nonostante le continue sollecitazioni, a un ragazzo che aveva ordinato solamente un piatto di pasta è arrivato solo quando tutti avevano finito di mangiare, guardando per tutto il tempo gli altri mangiare. sicuramente non ci torneremo.
