05/10/2025: Terrible service! We booked a table in sala they accepted booking without informing us that there were no table available in sala. When we arrived they told us that there is place near the entrance door only (1,5 meter near the entrance door). It’s already about 2 hours since we have been waiting for hour order and we’ve got only Wine and starters. The main course has not arrived yet. We were not informed in advance that we would have to wait 2 hours on cold draught ( Corrente d'aria)because the entrances door was opened every 5-10 minutes. Going to leave now without food and have wasted 2 hours of our time and got cold terribly

02/10/2025: A quiet evening in the middle of the week. The staff spoke practically only Italian. They found a few gluten-free dishes for the group but the execution was poor: the fried chicken breast was tasteless, as were the cold fried potatoes. The starter assortment for two was tasty and at least a sufficient size. The grilliata mista di maiale was also good, as were the potatoes that came with it, just like Sila.

07/10/2025: Huge and delicious sandwiches! Alternatively, a good selection of meats (the BBQ ribs are a must-try) and delicious fried foods.

17/09/2025: Stunning rest area, very kind and friendly manager on the beach, on grass, everything tidy, impeccable services, €20.00 including connection.

07/09/2025: Very well-maintained RV area. Mr. Raffaele is always available to keep everything clean and tidy. Token-free hot showers. Excellent restaurant, good food, and very friendly staff, all just steps from the sea.

05/08/2025: This is already the second time we've been there. Both times the place was empty, this time we wanted meat and it didn't fit, the pizza on top was too watery, and then the menu is completely different from the online one, because they don't do pasta, piadinas, etc. in the restaurant. The waitress service is excellent, but the quality of the food is terrible. We gave it a second chance, but we won't go again. €49 wasted.

24/08/2025: We were greeted very warmly. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The only flaw with the mixed fried fish was that they served completely cold and raw shrimp, describing it as fresh. After pointing this out, they immediately remade the dish, specifying that the shrimp were cold because they had been frozen, as you can't always have fresh fish. What a shame.

22/08/2025: A true discovery in the heart of Catanzaro. Courteous and attentive service, excellent dishes thanks to a blend of quality ingredients and expert execution, and excellent value. Highly recommended.

07/09/2025: The pizza was good, and the terrace was beautiful for outdoor dining. The staff was friendly and attentive to customer requests. My only complaint was that the place was packed, so service wasn't the fastest, but that's okay. It was understandable and didn't cause any inconvenience. They're great, and I highly recommend them.

17/10/2025: So, the place is particularly good. The food is excellent. Generally, in a new pizzeria or place, I almost always order the same things because that way I get a feel for the place. The pizza was fantastic, the fries were good. The service was just right, much appreciated, there's little to say. The waitress came, asked, then went back to take our orders. She didn't rush us, it was good. The atmosphere was very nice, there was good music, everything was nice and warm, it was generally very nice. The only thing was that it was dark for me while I was looking at the menu, but that's okay.

09/10/2025: This place represents my adolescence... it's been around forever and brings back so many wonderful memories. What can I say? Excellent food, delicious pizza, and friendly, cheerful staff. If you're downtown, you can't miss this place for an evening with friends.

06/09/2025: Beautifully located on the beautiful Crotone seafront, it does everything and more, from pizza by the slice to a lot of tasty things as well as first courses and fish starters, all delicious.

30/08/2025: We definitely came here on the wrong night.... I'd like to hope for their sake. Because they literally forgot us in that alley where they put us. We waited 20 minutes for someone to come take our order, then 50 minutes later they brought my partner's appetizer and first course together, and I had to wait an hour and a half for my dish! The dishes were good, but at the time, I was furious about the unacceptable service; they made me lose my temper!

08/10/2025: Group of 9. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and sandwiches. I ordered the Elivs Presley, pistachio pesto, buffalo mozzarella, etc. When I tasted it, the pistachio pesto tasted more like "pistachio cement." Completely inedible. The pistachio pesto was probably a pistachio dessert paste, undiluted, a bitter, inedible thing. I had some other friends try it too, just in case someone else might like it and at least it wouldn't end up being thrown away. Everyone was disappointed. So I called the waitress, who without further ado kindly took my sandwich away and brought me another (Miami, good). When we got the bill, which was about €200, we noticed that the sandwich had been charged anyway, telling us that that very same evening (!!!!) another table of three people had ordered the same sandwich (what a coincidence) and even complimented it (I repeat, what a coincidence), also saying that it was more than three-quarters eaten (obviously, this wasn't true; the sandwich was returned to the kitchen with at most a quarter eaten, after having shared it with friends). It's a shame because the place is worth it, but stuff like this doesn't make you want to return.

04/10/2025: The sandwiches are top notch, and most importantly, the entire menu can be made for celiacs, which is rare in this area.

22/09/2025: We were guests for a wedding, what can I say? The structure was wonderful, the food was excellent, the staff were very kind and professional, wow, spectacular.

20/09/2025: No offense to other pizzerias in the area, but the one at "I Fratelli Golluscio" is the best by far. Extremely digestible dough, quality ingredients, and jaw-dropping combinations. Highly recommended.

29/09/2025: The "Vecchia Guardia" restaurant clearly aspires to a luxury category, but it is light years away from understanding the fundamental needs of its guests. Our dinner experience for four on August 21, 2025, was a complete failure, especially regarding food allergies. Lack of Seriousness about "Gluten Free" We booked specifically because the website guaranteed availability for allergens, including gluten-free. Once seated, the unpleasant surprise: my wife, a celiac, was categorically denied any dish, including a simple slice of grilled meat. The only option was bottled water! This isn't "willingness to accommodate any need," but a clear example of misleading advertising aimed solely at attracting customers. Small Portions and Mediocre Quality The dishes were somewhere between meager and mediocre, with a presentation that was meant to mimic that of a "starred chef," but I'll leave you to imagine... with a quality that was, let's say, mediocre. The small quantity is unacceptable unless supported by an excellence that was totally absent here. The Bill: The Height of Negligence The highlight was the bill. Not only did they add a cover charge to my wife, who, through their negligence, was unable to eat anything, but, even more seriously, they included two dishes that were never served due to a clear oversight in the service. We had to point out the error to the waiter (who crossed out the amounts) and then again to the cashier, where the person in charge had not yet crossed out the missing side dishes, leaving the restaurant at 10:33 PM after the complaint. Disconcerting Service Finally, the service was disconcerting to say the least. The waiters and the lady kept bringing bread and other gluten-containing dishes right in front of my celiac wife. This is a total lack of care and professionalism, especially after being informed of her celiac disease. To describe the experience as "disappointing" is an understatement. It was unacceptable. I hope anyone reading this review will appreciate how carelessly this restaurant handles its promises and the basic needs of its customers.

29/08/2025: We went to this restaurant and had a really great time. The staff was very attentive and friendly, the service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. The value for money was excellent. We absolutely recommend it! If we ever find ourselves here on vacation, we'll be back! Thank you for the quality of the food and your professionalism!

18/10/2025: Wandered in on a Saturday lunchtime. Had a lovely grilled fish and white wine. The loud music downstairs nearly put us off but its a much more sensible volume upstairs. The waiter was a lovely, helpful chap with v good English. Highly recommend. Oh and great fries!

04/10/2025: We were well looked after, and the waiter was friendly and, above all, carefully explained each dish we ordered, recommending other products we found really good. Recommended
