16/09/2025: September 13, 2025 The Orchidea restaurant was the absolute protagonist of the most beautiful day of my life, my wedding. The hosts, Susanna and Sebastiano (two fantastic people), managed to organize the civil ceremony with the mayor and the wedding dinner in two separate rooms, outdoors, with a truly wonderful setting. The first part of the civil ceremony was celebrated in front of the upper pool, with numerous white chairs all decorated with flowers, a white carpet in the middle with two poufs and a floral arch, all impeccably lit, creating a moving atmosphere. The second part of the wedding dinner was organized in the ground-floor pool, in front of a lawn, with all the tables in the center and the aperitif stations all around, where my guests and all of us savored a menu of appetizers, almost entirely fish, with some meat, of indescribable deliciousness. Fish cooked in the most diverse ways, with a wide selection of courses. The appetizers were rich, plentiful, and delicious. The three first courses and two second courses, served at the table, were a huge success, with requests for more, which were not lacking. The organization of the kitchen and the dining room deserved top marks. The entire staff was fast, helpful, and kind. The final menu, featuring the wedding cake and an endless dessert buffet, was a resounding success. A variety of desserts, of indescribable deliciousness. I must and want to sincerely thank Susanna and Sebastiano for their professionalism, availability, kindness, friendliness, and humility. You managed to make my day a dream come true. I recommend all Calabrians and Italians who pass by the Orchidea to stop by and create your own unforgettable moment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart... 19/08/2025: Situated in a panoramic location, the masseria offers spacious, tastefully furnished rooms equipped with new bathroom fixtures. The air conditioning works perfectly, and the large windows provide plenty of natural light. The very large bathroom would benefit from additional storage space for toiletries. The only areas for improvement: the rooms aren't particularly quiet, and some bathroom fixtures (shower heads and soap dispensers) are worn and impractical. A shared refrigerator is available for guests in the breakfast room. The simple but tasty breakfast includes fresh fruit from the garden and homemade jams (citron, strawberry grape, medlar, fig). The property is reached via a somewhat narrow and steep road; parking is located right next to the entrance.

09/10/2025: I celebrated my husband's 30th birthday there and we had a great time. Excellent food, elegant and clean location, very kind staff, and a very attentive and helpful owner. I highly recommend it.

07/10/2025: What can I say? Home. I've been coming here for years, and the quality is always impeccable. High-quality and plentiful food, a clean, well-maintained, and well-organized environment. The staff and owner make you feel right at home. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the ingredients. I'll definitely be back ❤️

05/09/2025: I hosted my graduation party here, and everything was perfect. The room is beautiful, the food is exquisite, and the staff was incredibly friendly and professional. My guests had a wonderful time; I recommend it to everyone!

08/05/2025: Sono stato in questo ristorante due volte nel giro di pochi mesi, la prima a dicembre invitato per un evento in cui si è mangiato pesce: esperienza assolutamente positiva, sia per il cibo che per location e servizio. Alcuni mesi dopo sono tornato, poiché invitato ad un convegno terminato con un ottimo pranzo a buffet.

16/06/2025: Wonderful place! Lovely atmosphere, fun music and an amazing selection of drinks in affordable prices. The staff were soooo friendly and really knew their cocktails. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

17/10/2025: We camw across this restaurant by accident. At the far end of the beach at Scilla. The atmosphere was vwry authenyic. Staff were genuine and welcoming. The food was outstanding. The best meal i have had in a very long time. Unfortunately it was our last day as i would have gone back ! All 4 od our party felt the same ..stunning.

28/08/2025: First time here. Great kitchen. excellent service (Ronaldo!!!). Solid wine choices. Will be coming back often. Onion soup; prosciutto melt; steak tartar; halibut w/risotto.

09/08/2025: Family atmosphere; Excellent and tried-and-tested seafood menu; good pizza. It's essential to ask for fresh fish... obviously, it's cooked to perfection!! Fantastic summer cuisine when the restaurant moves to Lido Acquatica (still in Roccelletta, but on the seafront); open for lunch and dinner!!!!

03/07/2025: Excellent cuisine. Always full even at lunch. On the old route of the 106 just outside the Catanzaro Lido junction. No difficulty with parking. Never had pizza. Good quality appetizers and fish dishes. Not exactly cheap if you opt for branded bottled wine (good Calabrian wines, rosés). If you want to invite some guests or for some occasion. In the summer months it moves to the nearby beach.

11/10/2025: Definitely expensive and nothing exceptional, either in terms of food or atmosphere. The owner adjusts the price based on his connections, which is definitely in terrible taste!

04/10/2025: Excellent restaurant. We went with a girlfriend and loved everything. We'll be back again.
