19/11/2025: Beautiful bar, delicious granitas. One of the tastiest and most well-known ice cream parlors in the tourist town of Napier. It was renovated in 1923 and retains its original features. It's very pleasant to sit outside, in a small square and in a spot where parking is easy.

28/10/2025: Top-notch artisanal gelato The exceptional Tartufo di Pizzo is highly recommended. The staff are extremely polite and true professionals.

24/10/2025: The tartufo here was a complete disappointment. We came here because of the good reviews and unfortunately can't confirm them in any way. We ordered four tartufo. They were freshly prepared, and we were able to watch them being prepared (although they didn't look particularly appetizing). Two of the four tartufo were okay. But two of them were already melting as soon as they were placed on the plate and were even dripping off the plate as the man handed them to us. We really should have sent them back right away... They tasted okay, but the consistency was more like chocolate sauce... and that on a chilly October day. All in all: Not recommended! The ambiance at this place is also rather off-putting. Sorry.

04/01/2026: I've rarely felt as at home as I did at Tico Tico. The friendliness of this place is exceptional. From pizza to sandwiches (I've tried almost the entire menu), you can't go wrong. The dough (all of it) is tasty, crispy, and light... Signora Lisa even makes the bread for the sandwiches. The staff is very friendly, and Francesco is a "character" you absolutely must meet!!! The rooms are spotless, and the service is excellent. The friendliness and everything else are top marks. I highly recommend them. 😉

20/09/2025: We where here to get a pasta cooking course, and it turned out to become a lifetime experience 🥰 Very nice staff, helpful and I felt they really put their heart in to what they make. After the course was finished they served us what we made, and let us bring the rest home. All in all, a fantastic experience.

15/03/2026: I ordered takeout and it was a truly perfect experience. The service was fast and organized, with very short wait times. The pizzas were excellent: light and well-cooked dough, quality ingredients, and truly balanced flavors. Even when ordering takeout, you can sense the great care taken in their preparation. Congratulations for the professionalism and quality of the food. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend them.

20/09/2025: I ordered a gourmet octopus sandwich, whose ingredients list included grilled octopus. My sandwich arrived with cold octopus salad inside—the kind you'd find in seafood salad, so to speak. Feeling mocked, I went to the waitress to tell her the grilled octopus hadn't arrived. Then another woman, I assumed the owner, came over and told me they grilled the octopus anyway, but since it wasn't a seafood restaurant, I couldn't expect fresh octopus. I pointed out that I didn't expect fresh octopus, and that it could have been frozen and grilled. I felt doubly mocked because she reiterated that the octopus had been grilled when it had clearly come out of the fridge. Not content, the woman also asked me, in a less than pleasant tone, "So what should I put in the sandwich?" Are you kidding? Not only do you not apologize or admit your grave error, but you also respond rudely and arrogantly? If you don't know/want to handle fish, don't put it on the menu, and you definitely shouldn't contradict a customer who politely pointed something out to you, because you didn't make a good impression. I definitely won't be back.

27/08/2025: Upon entering this pizzeria, I immediately had a pleasant feeling: a very, very clean environment, cared for with the attention and order found in a home. The dining room isn't huge, but it's immaculately kept, with simple furnishings typical of a country pizzeria, understated yet tastefully done. It's not a place that focuses on elaborate details, yet it exudes warmth and care. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable, always ready to offer advice. But the real star is the pizza: a truly amazing dough, light and flavorful. I tried a special pinza, topped with garlic oil and Colonnata lard, and I must say it was extraordinary. A recommended pairing that turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. One detail that really struck me was the open kitchen: impeccable, tidy, and spotless, just like the rest of the place. Not everyone can match that. I was surprised, however, to see the place almost empty on a Friday evening. With prices absolutely in line with the market and such high quality, it makes you think about how often we choose more commercial and less authentic places. Here, however, you immediately sense the expertise of those who have studied and know their craft, as the numerous awards hanging on the walls confirm. In conclusion, a truly worthwhile place: top-notch quality, a welcoming atmosphere, and competent staff. It's definitely worth a try.

01/11/2025: Terrible service, slow and poorly managed. It's unthinkable for someone to arrive at 8:00 PM to eat and be served at 9:00 PM when there weren't even that many people. Plus, half the items on the menu weren't available. When we were supposed to order and were ready, the waitress made us wait because she still had to set all the tables (setting means simply putting out a paper placemat). So she made us wait just to take our order. Then I chose meat and had to go inside to choose it from the counter. Too bad the butcher was serving customers and made me wait. When he could have taken 30 seconds to ask me what I wanted and cut the steak, that's enough. Plus, I had to remind him of my table number, otherwise he wouldn't have even gotten it. Then when the side dishes arrived (served as appetizers, I don't know why), we still hadn't received water or wine. And only after asking the waitress for water did it arrive, and very slowly did the wine arrive. Overall, the food was good, but not spectacular. It's a shame that the selection seemed extensive, but once we arrived, it was very limited. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Terrible service. If I had to give one piece of advice, it would be to close the butcher shop when you want to serve food and just run the restaurant, with faster and better waiters.

07/09/2025: Very well-maintained RV area. Mr. Raffaele is always available to keep everything clean and tidy. Token-free hot showers. Excellent restaurant, good food, and very friendly staff, all just steps from the sea.

02/01/2026: Excellent rotisserie, the perfect place when you're with friends and everyone wants something different. You can also order à la carte. Lots of vegetables, lots of Calabrian dishes (I recommend trying the pipi e patati, peppers with potatoes). I found this place very nice; the owners are super kind and professional. You can eat outside, along the seafront, and it's always pleasant, even in August, in the height of summer. I had some meat, strips, a plate of peas, and then, of course, the pipi e patati, as I recommended. I highly recommend it.

Every pizza was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The service was incredibly friendly; you immediately feel welcome and well taken care of. The small restaurant has a very special charm and makes every visit a truly delightful experience. We were more than satisfied. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!

26/01/2026: Small and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is very kind, friendly, and helpful; but the real highlight is the pizzas! Light and tasty dough, filled with only local, zero-mile products! They only serve seasonal vegetables, which is a huge plus! The appetizers are also worth trying! I recommend the delicious "wagon wheel" with four flavors, filled with a generous drizzle of their "antibiotic"! 🌶️ Delicious!
