A wonderful experience. The ingredients are good and the cuisine isn't overly elaborate, leaving the flavors of the ingredients on the palate. Excellent value. The staff's courtesy and professionalism are a highlight. I'll definitely be back to try the pizza.

Hotel Ristorante Canada

17/08/2026: The hotel is located less than a kilometer from the Salerno-Reggio Calabria highway, about an hour from Villa San Giovanni. It's the ideal place to spend a night before taking the ferry to Sicily or immediately after taking the ferry back to Calabria. The restaurant is excellent, with very good seafood dishes. Excellent value for money. Last-minute reservations are also possible.
16/08/2026: We stayed at this hotel for a week and I can say I really enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly and quick to resolve any issues, especially Mr. Santo, a delightful person and always very helpful. The food in the restaurant is quite good, and breakfast, while not particularly varied, offers good products. I definitely recommend it and will return.

Slow Street Food

03/06/2026: It's a small butcher shop with a small dining room serving burgers, fries, and other delicacies. The sandwiches are very homemade and very reasonably priced (about €5).
15/05/2026: Really nice atmosphere. And excellent meat. And Ferdinando is a truly... worth getting to know.
