14/06/2025: I give 4 stars out of 5 not for a concrete lack, but simply because I have not yet had the opportunity to try the attached restaurant. However, the experience I had in the delicatessen and butcher's shop was more than enough to give me a very positive idea of ​​the overall quality of the business. The meat is always fresh, well selected and of excellent quality, as are the delicatessen products, which offer an interesting and well-curated variety. The staff was kind, helpful and competent, helping to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere. The prices are absolutely affordable, considering the quality offered, and the environment is clean, tidy and well managed in every aspect. While waiting to be able to evaluate the restaurant part, I still feel like strongly recommending this business, which already stands out for its efficiency, care and quality.

17/11/2025: We finally tried (with the excuse of a voucher) the typical trattoria Porcavacca, and it was a very pleasant surprise. From the moment you enter, you can feel a family atmosphere, thanks to the warmth, kindness, and helpfulness of the owners, always eager to make guests feel at home. The cuisine fully reflects the authenticity of the place: genuine and carefully selected ingredients are found in every dish. We started with a truly delicious hot/cold appetizer, full of typical local products, carefully prepared and just the right amount of filling. The first courses were the real highlight: Tagliatelle alla parmigiana, creamy and flavorful, prepared with fresh ingredients. Scilatelle alla silana with tomato sauce, porcini mushrooms, and sausage, a rich and fragrant dish with an intense and well-balanced flavor. The portions are generous and the overall quality is high, especially considering the average and absolutely affordable prices, which is not a given these days. A trattoria definitely worth a visit: excellent food, an authentic atmosphere, and wonderful people. We'll definitely be back!

25/10/2025: The atmosphere is small but welcoming. Kudos also to the service; the guys were really kind. The food is really good, the quality of the meat is perfect, and it's cooked perfectly! They bring standard steak knives, but just a touch of them and the meat slices itself, incredibly tender! Perfectly cooked, whether well done or medium. I highly recommend it. We had three slices of Cuberoll for a total of about 800 grams of meat, two bottles of water, a tomato salad, and a portion of Sila potatoes for a total of €90, but believe me, it's worth it!

30/08/2025: My evening at this establishment turned into a very serious incident that will not go unpunished. A nearby table asked the waitress, Martina, for my last name. She initially said she couldn't provide it (as would have been correct), but then handed over a note with my last name written on it. This is no small detail: the last name is personal data, and its unauthorized disclosure is a direct violation of current regulations (EU Regulation 2016/679 – GDPR, Articles 5 and 6; Legislative Decree 196/2003). I want to be very clear: if, as a result of this carelessness, I receive even a single message, a "follow," or a contact, either my partner or I, I will take action against the establishment directly, holding them fully responsible. I will proceed without hesitation with a formal report to the Italian Data Protection Authority, filing a complaint, and requesting compensation for damages (Article 82 GDPR, with a statute of limitations of up to 5 years). I believe that waitress Martina's behavior is scandalous and unacceptable, endangering the safety of her customers. I hope she is removed from the establishment immediately. In my opinion, this restaurant has closed. I warn anyone who values ​​their privacy against visiting it, because personal information is not protected here, but handed out like a bar note.

04/10/2025: A simple restaurant with excellent country-style cuisine. All the mushroom dishes were excellent (the porcini carpaccio was particularly good). It was a unique experience for us. It's a great base for hikes.

01/10/2025: Excellent food. Tasty dishes made with local ingredients (the mushrooms are excellent: the salad of ovule mushrooms and the lightly fried porcini mushrooms). Homemade tagliatelle with crumbled sausage, and a tasty, well-aged grilled meat. The wine list is varied, strictly Calabrian, and reasonably priced for its quality. The kitchen is open to the public, and the dining room is clean and tidy. Excellent service. We'd definitely return in good weather, especially for the stunning setting surrounding Mount Covello.

17/09/2025: A great café with lots of cakes and pastries. I always come here with my grandparents, and I used to come here! I don't know why my grandparents don't come anymore or why they're no longer interested. It doesn't matter if we don't come anymore, the important thing is that this place is still as good as it used to be (when I was little).
