17/11/2025: We finally tried (with the excuse of a voucher) the typical trattoria Porcavacca, and it was a very pleasant surprise. From the moment you enter, you can feel a family atmosphere, thanks to the warmth, kindness, and helpfulness of the owners, always eager to make guests feel at home. The cuisine fully reflects the authenticity of the place: genuine and carefully selected ingredients are found in every dish. We started with a truly delicious hot/cold appetizer, full of typical local products, carefully prepared and just the right amount of filling. The first courses were the real highlight: Tagliatelle alla parmigiana, creamy and flavorful, prepared with fresh ingredients. Scilatelle alla silana with tomato sauce, porcini mushrooms, and sausage, a rich and fragrant dish with an intense and well-balanced flavor. The portions are generous and the overall quality is high, especially considering the average and absolutely affordable prices, which is not a given these days. A trattoria definitely worth a visit: excellent food, an authentic atmosphere, and wonderful people. We'll definitely be back!

25/10/2025: The atmosphere is small but welcoming. Kudos also to the service; the guys were really kind. The food is really good, the quality of the meat is perfect, and it's cooked perfectly! They bring standard steak knives, but just a touch of them and the meat slices itself, incredibly tender! Perfectly cooked, whether well done or medium. I highly recommend it. We had three slices of Cuberoll for a total of about 800 grams of meat, two bottles of water, a tomato salad, and a portion of Sila potatoes for a total of €90, but believe me, it's worth it!

30/06/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ L’Angolo del Buongustaio – Amantea Small place, but a great discovery! I went to Angolo del Buongustaio during a weekend in Amantea and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, perfect for an informal break. The staff was kind and quick in their service. I tried several things and every bite was a confirmation: the pizza is well cooked, with a light and digestible dough. Even the fried foods (panzerotti and arancini) are delicious: crunchy on the outside, stringy on the inside and not at all greasy. The prices are fair and the portions are generous. You can feel the care in the products and in the preparation. A place without frills, but with lots of taste and authenticity. If you are in Amantea and you want something good, you can go here for sure! I would gladly go back.

25/08/2025: Had dinner at the end of October 2025. Excellent pinsa, exquisite staff (super professional waiter), in the center of San Demetrio. If you don't try this place, you're missing out. A piece of Calabria to treasure in your heart. I returned in August 2025 and can say with absolute certainty that the place and the products have even improved. Great Bakero!!!

29/08/2025: We had dinner last night, a beautiful location, excellent food and service. We had two bottles of water, one of wine, two peppered mussels, three spaghetti with clams, one with tomato sauce, mixed grill, sorbet, and a sweet and sour drink.

17/08/2025: I was there on August 16, 2025. The place was wonderful. The staff was friendly and very efficient. The restaurant manager was a true master, fully aware of his role. The cuisine was excellent; the food was truly delicious. Just two comments: 1. A place this beautiful and so well-organized cannot and should not serve sorbet in paper cups. 2. 22/08/2025: The atmosphere and service were pleasant. We ordered an iced coffee, which is unusual in southern Italy, and they made it for us. The price was also reasonable. Highly recommended.

12/08/2025: Came here for a drink and a bite to eat while the women were at the market. It's right at the end of the market. I had an ice cream and a coffee. The prices were reasonable. Outside on the terrace. We stopped inside to enjoy a small snack.

12/05/2025: You can eat a healthy and genuine dish thanks to the good cuisine offered by the chef. Waiting times are normal and the service is quite fast.

03/12/2025: Spurred on by the usual enthusiastic crowds and the social buzz, I decided to book at Bob's. The positives included ample parking and a beautifully designed and spacious venue, but the cocktail bar area seemed under-appreciated. We ordered, and the first truffle pizza arrived. The first thing I noticed about the service was a lack of attention and professionalism: the plate was so large, a few truffle shavings ended up on the floor, not even on the table. When there's table service, you shouldn't exchange a few words with colleagues or the nearby cocktail bar; it distracts you and can come across as arrogant. Out of curiosity, we tried the double-cooked anchovy pizza, as you recommended earlier: it ruined the evening; it was heavy and sickening, to say the least. We had assumed that table service was geared toward serving cocktails first, then double-cooked pizza, and finally dessert. The overall impression wasn't good; the customers were small numbers. It's tragicomic that they charge a cover charge, which is nonexistent at €3. Ultimately, it was a disappointing evening, not to mention the final bill, but that was expected. D'Avanzo and the entire crew need to remember that if they've reached this level, this visibility thanks primarily to the customers and the excellent pizza dough, at the end of the evening I mentioned the disgusting experience of the "anchovy-like-first" pizza: no response. In the morning, I woke up with a certain intestinal heaviness; coincidentally, the other person at the table also had some issues, who knows 😂. In the province of Catanzaro, the quality of pizzas and doughs has risen significantly in recent years. In the same city, there are at least two pizzerias that deserve much greater visibility, but we all know what goes on behind Michelin stars and magazines or Gambero Rosso awards: unfortunately, other interests abound. I'm certainly forgetting that in the province of Catanzaro alone, there are many other pizzerias with dough of the same caliber, especially in the Sila area. As far as I'm concerned, I won't be returning. I recommend to the ecstatic Calabrian to travel and explore our splendid region: there are plenty of places like this. I won't comment on the table reservation system: it's horrendous.

11/11/2025: Everything was perfect...from the variety of pizzas...from the cooking methods...from the incredible combination of flavors...from the welcome...to the service!

12/11/2025: Nice and calm hotel. Rooms are clean, air conditioned, with comfy bed, balcony, mini fridge, closet and mirror. Breakfast is tasty and has a variety of options. Great coffee. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pool is big and clean, but it’s a few minutes walk from the hotel.

14/10/2025: What a fantastic hotel – you feel warmly welcomed from the very first minute! The reception and greeting were very pleasant, and all the staff are extremely friendly and personable. A special highlight for me was the "Cena Calabrese," which takes place every Friday during the summer months – a typical Calabrian evening with music, dancing, and local food. The cake, personally presented by the hotel manager, was incredibly delicious! The nearby beaches with their crystal-clear waters are also a dream destination. I felt very comfortable and well looked after throughout my stay at the Calabrisella. Saying goodbye wasn't easy – I will definitely be back.

09/09/2025: Truly excellent restaurant. Every time I'm here in Calabria on vacation, I choose to eat there because it truly is one of the best aperitifs in the area. I usually go there in a group of three, spending €10-20 each, which is absolutely worth it. Exceptional value for money. As for the staff, I have nothing to complain about; they're truly kind and often friendly; we've never had a misunderstanding. The wait is practically non-existent. The atmosphere may not be the best, but the sea view outside while eating is so perfect. The appetizer is truly exquisite and absolutely worth it; every time I eat there, it's our main course. Not to mention the pasta, which is truly flavorful and not at all bland like it often can be. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area; it's absolutely worth it! Every time I come here, it's the first place I try.

25/08/2025: A wonderful venue on the Locri seafront, offering top-notch evenings with international DJs. Very reasonable prices for both admission and cocktails. I had a great time and will gladly return. They also offer original entertainment during the evenings.
