29/11/2025: The food was amazing, and the waiters were divided between some who were unprofessional and seemed to be making comments and jokes about the customers while chatting among themselves, and others who were super professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I booked with the Fork, and the discount wasn't applied initially (after waiting 15 minutes for the bill at the table), so when I pointed it out, they recalculated the bill manually and brought it back after another 10 minutes of waiting. Highly recommended if you want good food at reasonable prices!

31/12/2025: Basic but good menu done well and VERY well priced. Burgers are quite big (I ordered a double and didnt finish!) Staff are lovely and welcoming. This is an Irish bar done in an Italian way, so dont expect authentic Irish but also dont let that take away from how nice it is to go there. I for one will be a repeat customer every time I visit cosenza

02/10/2025: We went two nights, and both time the food was amazing and reasonably priced! Dishes were all full of flavour and delicious. Very clean and welcoming. All staff were friendly! No menu in English, and staff had very little English, but we got to practice a little Italian, and they were very patient with us.

28/12/2025: "Trattoria a me casa" (literally, "Trattoria at my house"), the name truly reflects the reality: the restaurant, even just physically, evokes traditional "home cooking," with meticulous attention to detail and a breathtaking view to enjoy while dining at your table, in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, perfect for this Christmas season and beyond. My husband and I chose this place to spend a day as a couple enjoying good food, and we were completely satisfied. Each course was unique and delicious, thanks both to the aesthetics of the plates and, above all, the flavor of each ingredient (enhanced by chef Elena), which brought us back to our traditions. The portions were also perfect, allowing us to sample everything without having to sacrifice anything (a detail not to be underestimated considering today's mass-produced cuisine). It was also a pleasure to be served by Giuseppe, who was ready to accommodate our every request, making everything even more enjoyable with his banter. I like to attach photos to really convey what I'm talking about, and I hope you all can go at least once to try it and believe it. And what can I say: thanks to all the staff at the trattoria and to me at home, hoping to see you again soon.

22/12/2025: If you're looking for substance, authentic flavors, and a warm welcome that makes you feel part of the family, then you've found a treasure. As soon as you step inside, you're overwhelmed by the aroma of soffritto and sauce simmering in the kitchen. ​

24/03/2026: It's a simple place with great opportunity to try some real local cuisine without fanfare or ceremony. (And for great prices) If that's what you're after, you'll enjoy it jist like the locals do.

15/03/2026: A good trattoria with fast service and decent quality. It's a bit lacking in cleanliness; there are a few things that could use some attention, such as the chairs and the oil cruet on the table, which were obviously greasy due to infrequent cleaning. On Sundays, it's best to book. The set menus with a choice of courses from the Sunday menu have a €5 surcharge.

10/01/2026: A splendid restaurant focused on elegant cuisine, yet never ephemeral or superficial. Careful selection of fresh, high-quality ingredients is showcased on the plate without frills. In short, the best possible celebration of Calabrian cuisine, presented in a modern and authentic way. We loved the Russian salad, the octopus, and the grouper. The wine list could perhaps be updated with labels from small local producers.

18/11/2025: Well-made pizza, inviting fried foods, and unmissable mpakkiuse potatoes. The lack of draft beer is compensated for by the variety of bottled beers and selection of local wines. Very friendly and attentive service. Recommended!

08/11/2025: Pizza is a matter of taste, and I have to say I really enjoy this one. Not only that, but it's also the classic Calabrian pizza, thin and cooked to perfection, and the ingredients are also top-quality. My thermometer lately has been determined by how many times I get up in the middle of the night to drink (or go to the bathroom if I'm feeling sick). Tonight everything was fine, so the pizza was good. I went on a pizza tour last night, a table of over 20 people. They had a great time, with tons of pizzas, a wide selection, and no wait at all. The staff is almost all female, and women, as we know, have an edge. The place is very well soundproofed, and despite being on the street, it's very comfortable inside. I'll definitely be back because I'm curious to try the food.

24/03/2026: Tropea, Lido Costa degli Dei, "Coast of the Gods" is a very nice small town beach. It has a beautiful sandy beach, located at the foot of the sanctuary of Santa Maria Dell Isola, a great place for a cloudless and sunny holiday.

04/11/2025: Wow! What a pleasant experience! I’m traveling the world, and as a foodie, I truly appreciate good-quality food, great service, and attention to detail. I’ve been to Italy many times before and was often disappointed by the pizza — but this pizza finally ticks all the boxes! It was absolutely fantastic, one of the best I have had! And the tartufo… simply divine. With all that said, the prices are very fair for the quality and experience. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough — it’s a real gem in Calabria!

09/03/2026: What can I say...I feel at home at Calypso. It's a restaurant run by the wonderful Daniela and the great Stefano, who are very attentive to their customers' satisfaction. All the staff are extremely kind and attentive. The cuisine is sublime. Every time I go, they always manage to amaze me. The fish is incredibly fresh and the quality is top notch. I highly recommend stopping at Calypso for a wonderful culinary experience with a stunning view of the Belvedere Marittimo waterfront.
