10/07/2025: Perfect Parmigiana – just like in old-school Italy! I’ve had parmigiana all over Italy, including Sicily, but this one was absolutely perfect. It tasted like real homemade cooking – like eating at grandma’s. The prices? Like 15 years ago – unbelievably reasonable. The staff is great, and the atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience!

16/07/2025: Low cost, high return! The dishes were all divinely cooked, the portions were just right (in some cases generous), and the service was impeccable: despite the volume of work, they were always polite, calm, and smiling. The icing on the cake: their expertise!

31/05/2025: I have been to tavernacolo several times because I consider it one of the best places to eat in cosenza. the food is excellent, the staff is very nice, friendly and super helpful and it is right in the center of corso mazzini. the only flaw: the nduja. I come from vibo valentia and therefore I think I know what I'm talking about, just one piece of advice, change the nduja and your food will be perfect.

26/04/2025: Ho mangiato uno dei migliori smash burgers dell'ultimo periodo, anche le patatine erano molto buone e cotte bene. Le 4 stelle sono per la poca scelta di birre, su questo aspetto credo si possa lavorare. Per il resto tutto molto bene, a cominciare dal personale super gentile. Consigliato!

11/03/2025: Gourmet sandwiches with first choice meats and homemade bread: a real delight for lovers of the genre. The menu varies from week to week with new proposals and "limited edition" sandwiches for the most demanding palates, so the choice is never banal and always varied. All accompanied by delicious appetizers (I highly recommend trying the crocchè alla corte d'assise and the pulled pork meatballs) and craft beers to be discovered. Small place, but warm and welcoming. Courteous and professional staff, always with a smile on their faces.

Not easy to get this principle to be accepted, in the country of olive oil... It was, however, really succulent. Spices release aromas, which do not require oil. I really licked my ass, according to the established expression. My fingers were full... for a dish at only 25 euros! The (magic) lobster with pasta and tomato, a wonder! As a nutritionist, I asked for it with minimal oil, and they respected the rule. Just ask and insist, if necessary, when restaurateurs don't always understand why. Sometimes I take the trouble to explain that my diet is based on carbohydrates and proteins, but without fats. It is not easy to accept this principle, in the land of olive oil... But it was really succulent. Spices release aromas that do not require oil. I licked my mustache, as they say. I had my fingers covered... for a dish for only 25 euros!
