We did some hiking with you Sergio - thank you for coming with us. We can recommend the Locanda for people who like nature and want to explore the more rural parts of Calabria.

24/08/2025: We visited this restaurant-pizzeria the other evening: an overall mixed experience. The pizza is truly excellent: light, well-leavened, and very digestible dough, with fresh, quality ingredients that are noticeable from the first bite. Truly one of the best pizzas in the area. Unfortunately, the service doesn't live up to the cuisine. We arrived at 8:35 PM, but our order wasn't taken until 9:10 PM, and in the meantime, we watched waiters serve customers who arrived after us. Our pizzas were finally brought to us at 9:50 PM: a long and frustrating wait that partially ruined the enjoyment of the evening. I understand the restaurant is busy, but serving a table after an hour and 15 minutes of waiting isn't fair, especially since customers who arrived later had dined much earlier. A real shame: with better service, it would be a restaurant worthy of a full 5-star rating, but this way, despite the excellent pizza, the experience is severely compromised.

09/07/2025: Da anni andiamo a mangiare da Mario e abbiamo portato anche altri oltre ai figli,lo stupore è sempre lo stesso, genuinità dei prodotti profumi che non si sentono quasi più nei cibi e la loro cordialità sono un vero punto di forza,si prenota con grande fatica ma la perseveranza paga sempre. Quest'anno abbiamo portato dei parenti che vivono in Canada, e sono rimasti più che contenti. Grazie a voi e a tutto lo staff del ristorante persino mia nipotina di tre anni si è trovata a suo agio.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had. This time I ordered pizzas to eat on the beach. The service was impeccable because they arrived promptly and still hot. I recommend!

I piatti (tra primi e secondi) confermano la qualità e la passione che i proprietari mettono nell attività. Complimenti torneremo alla prossima ricorrenza. 29/07/2025: Da tre anni veniamo in vacanza in Calabria e per diverse sere ceniamo da "Nonna Caterina". Ambiente familiare, accoglienza con il sorriso. Antipasto della casa (€ 12,00) abbondante e vario, si fatica a finirlo in due. Buoni I primi sui 10,00 € e i secondi sui 15,00 €. Consigliate anche le pizze.

12/02/2025: I certainly reserve the right to update the review after I have physically tried the products, but I give 5 stars to the service, I ordered 10 kg of meat, the order arrived within 24 hours, perfectly packaged and perfectly frozen. Furthermore, the meat, although packaged in 1kg packs, is already conveniently divided into 250g portions and this for me is of incomparable convenience. 03/05/2025: Una vera scoperta! Alla Buca del Re si mangia benissimo: piatti gustosi, porzioni generose e ingredienti di qualità. Il titolare è simpaticissimo, ci ha fatto sentire come a casa fin dal primo momento. Siamo andati con un gruppo di amici e siamo rimasti tutti super soddisfatti. Torneremo sicuramente!

05/04/2025: La Rustica does not need reviews, presentations and further comments. Rustica is loved. An institution that has always been for all people from Lamezia (and not). Without a shadow of a doubt the best pizza by the slice in Nicastro. The case is closed.

22/07/2025: Anno Zero has been a guarantee since my teenage years... Truly superb pizza!!! When we're at other places, despite the delicious pizzas, Anno Zero's pizza is always number one for me and my family! The other dishes offered are also good... And then there's the legendary Peppino, now an institution, his very kind wife, Davide, who I raised 🤣, and the beautiful and very sweet Ylenia, always kind and attentive between the tables! And then I can't leave out a praise for the young but very talented pizza chef!
