Definitely recommended. The food was well-prepared, the Angus steak was excellent, and the staff was professional. Despite it being a Tuesday, the place was packed (unexpectedly), the staff was sparse... but everything ran smoothly.

I've been going to this restaurant-pizzeria for years and sometimes bring friends there. The pizzas and calzones are delicious, and the atmosphere is elegant. The only downside is the slow service (but there's always room for improvement). I recommend the "Calzone Il Portico" as a dish. Otherwise, the atmosphere is all good.

Excellent pizzeria, large and comfortable dining room, very good pizza, and a wide variety of toppings to choose from. Prices are also reasonable compared to other pizzerias. Highly recommended!

Truly delicious pizzas, even the simple Margherita is excellent! Excellent value and a highly regarded restaurant in Castrovillari. The only drawback is the service: sometimes you have to wait a bit because they prioritize takeout pizzas, ignoring those seated inside. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Reservations are recommended on Saturday evenings.

24/05/2026: My wife and I were occasionally passing through Belvedere, where we were staying overnight, and the B&B host recommended this restaurant. It was 10:30 PM on a midweek evening in April, so not a very busy time. Nevertheless, we received attentive and attentive service from kind people who were concerned about making us feel comfortable. The food was very good, honest, fresh, without gimmicks or deception. The seafood salad was very fresh, without vinegar (which usually serves to cover up imperfections), with an unmistakable seafood flavor, excellent. The tuna steak was very well cooked, all washed down with an excellent wine at a very reasonable price. Calypso is one of those rare places where you find meaning among the people who work there, the pride and self-esteem in wanting to offer something good. We returned the next day, bringing friends with us and also trying the first courses... everything was very good! Well done!!
