While vacationing in the area, I visited Amantea. I wasn't familiar with the gelateria, so I stopped in because there were a lot of people enjoying it. We ordered gelato in a glass bowl, in various flavors. We loved it, and could taste the different ingredients. The staff was kind, helpful, and always smiling, as were the owners. We were informed about their upcoming artisanal panettone, which we'll definitely be purchasing. I honestly don't understand the few negative reviews. We'll definitely return and recommend it. (A couple of tourists from Matera)

We've been here twice now, and it won't be the last. Everything is delicious, and it's a great spot in the old town to enjoy coffee, pastries, or an aperitif.
