06/07/2024: We had a pizza dinner, excellent with various flavours. The rotisserie, arancini, croquettes, bruschetta and chips are also very good.

05/08/2024: Professionalism and kindness are the words that best describe this place❤️we stayed a few days with our three-month-old baby and our Golden Retriever puppy and we were treated with the same love and dedication that is given to a person family without ever lacking professionalism ❤️ very clean room, excellent restaurant (few things but really delicious characterized by great quality and freshness in the choice of local products!), also the always rich and varied breakfast. The location is great and we hope to return soon! Last but not least, we want to thank the owner Giovanni, his sister Stefania (infinite sweetness!), and then Filippo, the parents always at work, and all the staff, from first to last, who make this place even more special!

13/08/2024: As promised to the owner, I am writing my review as a celiac. The attention for those like me who have gluten problems is commendable. And I hadn't specified my allergy when booking! This meant that I had to give up a couple of starters, but which I would certainly have enjoyed if I had. So I recommend saying it right away! For the rest, what can I say... Genuine and tasty ingredients, worked with love and passion, which give life to excellent and delicious dishes. A very good house wine! And the owner is very attentive to everyone's needs. If we then add the beauty of the place and the entire village, we can say that it was an exceptional lunch!

27/08/2024: We came to the place by chance for an ice cream. Finding a table was a miracle, very crowded place. They bring us the menu and we immediately notice the variety of products they offer, we are spoiled for choice. It's a shame that the counter had few flavours, it must have been a busy evening. We order easily via the app and are served by different waiters. Frozen truffles that we had to wait for to melt before being consumed, to evaluate the generous size of the portions that we liked. A piadina rich in cream combined with simple ice cream which was a panacea, very good. The costs are excessive for my tastes, but as we know, if the customers are there they don't care about it. I will definitely return but at more accessible times.

25/08/2024: Positively impressed, courteous and fast service, shame about our aperitif until the mini sandwiches ran out... the price wasn't exactly in line

20/08/2024: The staff is super helpful, we waited very little between courses and the portions were generous. We ate very well, it felt like we were having dinner at a grandmother's house.

11/08/2024: Truly poor quality food, I would say inedible. Cutting boards with rancid salami. Spaghetti with cheese and pepper with poor quality ready-made sauce. Really terrible cannelloni stuffed with ricotta and chard. But the one actually called vitello tonnato by the chef, we didn't quite understand what dish it actually was, I'm sorry for them but we live in Turin (home of vitello tonnato). Not recommended.

31/08/2024: For the umpteenth time I'm back from yeast, we sat down at 8.52pm, we didn't order starters to enjoy the pizza better, at 9.07pm we were already having dinner, I said everything. 13/07/2024: Si mangia in un gradevole giardino situato all'interno delle antiche mura perimetrali della struttura presistente, forse una vecchia masseria, che isola un pò il posto dal degrado generale di Nicastro. Il personale è cortese, professionale ed attento. La scelta dei piatti non è molto varia, specie mangiandovi spesso, ma sia gli antipasti che i primi sono piacevoli. Ho invece trovato il maialino asciutto e le cipolle di tropea slegate dalle carne. Buoni i dolci.

30/07/2024: One of the best places to try typical Calabrian cuisine with a practically unique quality-price ratio. The owner is also a lovely person. You can't help but try the cuisine of this trattoria restaurant.

31/08/2024: What can I say, an appetizer with cold and hard fried foods. There was something that I thought was a courgette flower, but instead it was a fish filling with cheese. I then ordered lamb and sausages. The lamb had a terrible aftertaste. The sausage was nothing of course. I preferred the Conad ones. I had a stomach ache for days.

26/08/2024: The venue is made up of different environments, an indoor room and several outdoor rooms surrounded by greenery and well-kept without being too demanding. The staff was well-trained, we were served by a Ukrainian boy Diegor (sorry if it's not spelled like that) who in my opinion chose to do a job made for him, congratulations! Let's take a look at the menu. We took the mixed starter which truly contains every type of Calabrian and non-Calabrian delicacy: cured meats, cheeses, aubergine meatballs, bran peppers, potatoes and peppers, parmigiana, courgette flowers and so on and so forth, then we continued with a first course with sheep's sauce, for the second course I took a cut with cheese and nduja, my companions cut stracciatella and chopped pistachios and grilled caciocavallo. Even though it was challenging, we finished almost everything because it rarely happens that we eat something so homemade and genuine. Highly recommended!

18/08/2024: Lovely experience. As a Sicilian I have to say that it was one of the best ice creams I have tasted in the last ten years! Not to mention the yogurt… Incredible flavors and infinite kindness!

14/08/2024: This is one of the most beautiful corners of Altomonte. The ice creams are extraordinary (but not just the ice creams). The kindness and friendliness of the owner are simply fantastic. Mandatory stop every time I return home. Memories of my childhood and adolescence come to mind. Now I'm taking my kids there.
