08/12/2024: Wonderful place where you can enjoy excellent food and relax in a fabulous place near a really nice pond. I've been twice for lunch and I must say that I had a great time, good and genuine food from both sea and land, friendly and attentive staff who respond to customer requests and make you immediately feel at ease in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. prices are normal, service is fast and efficient. The corner near a second pond is also nice where there are comfortable armchairs where you can relax after lunch or dinner. I will return with a group of friends and I would like to visit this place also in the evening for dinner, it will certainly be even more suggestive and above all very romantic.😀👌

26/01/2025: A pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. We stopped for lunch and were hosted by Cecilia, alias Lucrezia and her daughter Rafeal. The food was absolutely delicious. Don't miss this place in Diamante. If you don't eat here, you're missing out.

The guys who run it are fantastic, kind, cheerful and clean. I often get pizza from them and they are never wrong, always delicious. They really deserve a lot. Well done. ❤️

24/02/2025: Visiting from London, UK, and loved this pizzeria so much we came twice during our trip to Catanzaro! The variety of pizzas is fantastic, and the freshness and flavors are top-notch. Huge compliments to the chef and a special thanks to Andrea for his kindness and effort in explaining the menu in English. Highly recommend!

16/11/2024: Update, this summer I go to get a braid with almonds and they give me the one from the day before, it was rubbery and moreover much smaller than those from last year, I point out to him that it was from the day before, that it was rubbery and like they always cringe, the funniest thing when I tell them that they were smaller than other years and they find the excuse that they were smaller, in fact the next day I go in to get another one and I notice that they were the same old ones as the day first, I left without buying anything, they won't see me again, too bad for the tourists who are literally almost made fun of....., the pos?? they don't even know what it is, it's always broken, the receipt on request..... This year I returned, in July I always got the ice cream croissant with cream "3 scoops of ice cream plus cream, always paid €4, end of July same ice cream croissant 3 scoops of ice cream with cream €4.50, I point out that I had always paid €4 and they cringe by saying that evidently "10 times, even you yourself" they were wrong, but who are they kidding, I return at the end August, always ice cream croissant with cream €4.50, the problem is that this time instead of 3 ice cream scoops they put 2, I point out that normally they were 3 ice cream scoops and they call me a liar in an arrogant way "like Tropeans very often, they always want to be right", he tells me that if I wanted he would give me the third ball even if it wasn't foreseen, I'll make him wear it, it's not for the money but the teasing. The mask is an optional, you ask him to wear it "even if they have to wear it by law" but they pretend nothing happened, unfortunately checks are not carried out in Tropea, the police were around but no one was checking

06/04/2025: Slow service, inefficient kitchen. Good appetizers but poor first courses... terrible value for money, I will not return and I do not recommend it.

18/03/2025: Restaurant open all year round. Excellent food, beautiful place even in winter, not to be missed. The only flaw is that the service is a bit confusing when the owner isn't there.

La cucina, basata su ingredienti locali di altissima qualità, riesce a esaltare i sapori autentici della tradizione calabrese. Il personale è cortese e attento, mentre l’atmosfera accogliente rende l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Assolutamente consigliato!

11/09/2024: Cozy environment, the tables are set up in the garden. They are appropriately spaced which makes the environment more pleasant and relaxing. The menu is refined and satisfies all palates. To come back!!!

08/03/2025: Tutto buono, la cantina ha dei buoni vini. il locale è ben curato. Le linguine all’astice erano buonissime ma erano allettanti tutti i piatti che ho visto uscire dalla cucina.

04/04/2025: The Locanda degli Antichi Sapori is not a very large place but very welcoming. The management is family-run and this is also immediately evident with the service, in fact you feel at ease, you feel at home. The pizza is very good, with the possibility of a wide choice. Good prices too, I recommend it.
