16/11/2025: We stayed recently on our way down from the Italian Midlands to Sicily, quite a long drive and the hotel was chosen mainly for its location, very close to the motorway exit and with a car park. We were greeted by a pleasant gentleman at the reception and went up to our room. It looked like we were the only hotel guests. The room was ok but certainly all rather tired and dated. We went for a walk along the seafront which was only about 100m from the hotel. The highlight of the evening was the excellent restaurant for sure! Great meal, good service and also super value for money, top marks. A birthday group attended for dinner and the catering was very well organized. We left the next morning after a rather poor breakfast. Not bad but for sure NOT a 4 star hotel.

29/08/2025: We loved it; we stayed here for two nights in August. The family room sleeps four, was very spacious, had a large bathroom, and had a balcony. The owners are very kind, and the property is clearly long-standing, yet completely renovated. Ample parking is available, and breakfast is served on the patio under a beautiful wooden canopy. It's a shame the restaurant closed this year, but the beautiful open kitchen makes for delicious food. Good value for money. Excellent location. We'll definitely be back.

01/08/2025: Nothing exceptional. Rooms are average, but quite noisy due to the proximity to the road. The hotel is very far from the sea.

02/10/2025: Yesterday I ordered a sandwich (only ketchup, because I've been allergic to mayo since I was born), it arrived and it was wrong because we had put mayonnaise instead of ketchup, I called and told them of the mistake and if they could bring me another one as I had previously asked with ketchup, she initially said she had to check the order, then she realized the mistake and decided to send me the sandwich, instead of eating at 8:30 I ate at 9:30 because of them and the first thing they did was ask me for the wrong sandwich back from an hour before, (they hoped I had eaten it) but I didn't eat it because I really am allergic but they definitely lost a customer, unprofessional in my opinion, you don't ask for the sandwich back after an hour, at most you apologize for the mistake for making me eat an hour later and for the mistake while we were all eating I had to watch the others for an hour and wait for your sandwich.

22/08/2025: After years, I'm returning to Soverato, and on a humid evening like no other, I decide to book a table at Miramare... A fantastic sea breeze accompanied us throughout the dinner. We ate divinely, and the "sfilatino" was a truly delicious surprise. Impeccable service and a reasonable bill. We'll be back soon.

14/10/2025: Cozy, peaceful place - without excessive luxury, but with friendly and helpful staff. Slightly worn apartments with sparse furniture and fixtures. Gas stove and small refrigerator as well as patio furniture. Large pool area. Buildings and outdoor areas need maintenance/upgrading. Half board is recommended (good food!) in the cozy restaurant, as there are over 1 km to eateries and shops - along a road not suitable for people with walking difficulties. A sad detail is that the many sweet and cuddly cats that live on site need better care and especially treatment for infectious eye inflammation, which makes most of them blind.

14/09/2025: Nice and well-maintained location. The food is good quality and prices are above average, but the most disappointing thing is that, with four people at the table, they only served three of the diners, and after more than half an hour, they hadn't even noticed that the fourth diner's dish was still missing. I would pay more attention to customer service, as it's not nice to watch others eat while someone else isn't.

30/08/2025: The service is slow, the waiters say to wait 10 minutes, 10 minutes, and then nothing arrives. We've been waiting for over three hours. Another 20 minutes have passed and nothing has arrived. We came at 9:00 pm: At nine o'clock. And it's 11:00 am and nothing has arrived.

14/10/2025: We really had a great time! I had a delicious gluten-free pizza. Both gluten-free and gluten-free options were available. The crust isn't homemade, but it's a good-quality artisanal one. The place is spacious, clean, and seafront. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quick service!

01/10/2025: Pizzeria-style service, but unfortunately there's no restaurant here: there's a cover charge, but you have to ask for bread. The rotisserie is subpar, and the dishes are sparse. The prices, however, are those of a high-end restaurant.

10/11/2025: November 10th – Disappointing Experience It's November 10th, and the atmosphere is cool and the breeze is blowing in, but that's really the least of the problems. The real inconvenience was the food: we ordered four Happy Meals and two menus, but everything arrived without boxes, completely scattered. The worst part? The sandwiches were cold, so cold that the cheese slice was still whole and not even slightly melted. I mentioned this to the staff, who replied, "I'll reheat it for you." Now, as far as I know, according to McDonald's internal policy, a sandwich served cold should be remade, not simply reheated. But even overlooking this, the sandwich came back with only the top of the bun barely warm... the cheese slice, of course, remained exactly as it was. Every time I return to this location—unfortunately, once a year—I notice a constant deterioration in the service. As far as I'm concerned, it's time someone from above took serious action: spending 43 euros to receive a service like this is a real joke.

16/08/2025: Since they opened, every year as per tradition, the first pizza of the holidays has been there, and it's always been good. This year I was disappointed; the dough fell short of our expectations. Not satisfied, we tried to get it again, but to no avail. We'll try again next year, and let's hope for the best. On the plus side, the staff.

15/08/2025: A truly positive experience. Armando, the owner, is a truly wonderful person. Very helpful and friendly. Plus, we had lunch; everything was delicious, the appetizers were spectacular. I'll definitely be back.

17/08/2025: Be honest! I've gotten takeout pizza with salmon TWICE, and I barely saw any of it! Yet, the second time I even pointed out that the first pizza didn't have salmon (but they do charge for it, eh?), and yet they still delivered a pizza with 2 invisible tufts of salmon. The dough is good, but even for the rest of the flavors, the ingredients on top are very scarce. 2 slices of salami and 2 mushrooms on the other... oh please...

23/05/2025: Terrible food. The octopus salad was horrible, so we rejected it and they did not charge it in the end. The fried calamari and shrimps were oily. The fried potatoes were ok. Stay away!

12/05/2025: Zwaardvisbruchetta beneden alle peil. 5 stukjes dunne toast met een smakeloos prutje pasta en in totaal 3 stukjes zwaardvis (op 5 toast). Zeer slechte bruchetta en belachelijk duur voor 10 euro! Uitzicht wel prachtig en relaxte muziek.
