23/05/2025: Terrible food. The octopus salad was horrible, so we rejected it and they did not charge it in the end. The fried calamari and shrimps were oily. The fried potatoes were ok. Stay away!
12/05/2025: Zwaardvisbruchetta beneden alle peil. 5 stukjes dunne toast met een smakeloos prutje pasta en in totaal 3 stukjes zwaardvis (op 5 toast). Zeer slechte bruchetta en belachelijk duur voor 10 euro! Uitzicht wel prachtig en relaxte muziek.

19/08/2025: The owner (I assume), manager, pizza chef, chef, and, in short, Deus Ex Machina Raffaele deserves 5 stars for his helpfulness and the kindness he exudes from every pore. In my opinion, it's impossible to argue with someone like him. I have many Calabrian friends and acquaintances, but he's one of a kind. A visit to his culinary "laboratory" is worth a visit just for the pleasure of meeting him. My family and I were returning from a trip to Tropea and Pizzo, two pearls of Calabria's Tyrrhenian coast that have nothing to envy of the Sorrento peninsula (I'd almost say "quite the opposite"). We were hungry, however, and we could have eaten and digested stones. That said, we wanted pizza, and while we waited, he offered us some fried calamari, made with clean oil and quite tasty. Then the pizzas arrived. I'm not judging these because I'm Neapolitan and these pizzas are not, so there's no point in trying to be a sophist. If you're in Amantea and order a pizza, you can eat it and keep quiet. Afterwards, he offered us some ravioli filled with "seafood" and topped with a nice prawn. If they had been hot and the sauce thinner, I wouldn't hesitate to call them as stratospheric as dear Raffaele said. After a very honest bill, he offered us coffee. In conclusion, the atmosphere isn't appealing, but there's outdoor seating, in the pizzeria, and in the restaurant. The cooking is influenced by the fact that Raffaele does everything himself, with the help, I believe, of his children—many young, well-mannered people. I've described the place as a "workshop" because it has the potential to grow, and I wish it the best of luck. Perhaps if Antonino Cannavacciuolo were to come by, he'd know how to guide him. One thing's for sure: I'll be back. And if you go and find the food isn't good, or even too good, I urge you to be more tolerant; Raffaele deserves it. Last but not least: the name of the place would normally scare me away, but he likes it, so be it.

13/11/2025: A great discovery! Work dinner where colleagues recommended this place to me. I was thrilled! A truly beautiful seaside location, excellent food, and the owners' kindness was breathtaking! 100% recommended
31/08/2025: My friends and I called this beach club to see if there was a table for three. We were told we could go there within 15 minutes of calling. In reality, when we arrived after the 15 minutes indicated, we were told they'd seat us shortly, but it took an hour before we were actually given a table. Our order was taken by a waitress who wasn't particularly friendly, unlike the rest of the staff, who were much more welcoming. I ordered a mixed fried fish dish that didn't list sausages among the ingredients listed, but they were included in the dish. I personally don't eat pork, and if they had been listed, I would have had them removed before ordering. For me, it wasn't a big problem, but for someone with allergies or sensitivity to meat, it would have been more of a hassle; simply pointing them out would have been enough.

25/08/2025: Last Saturday, for an event, I had the opportunity to try the restaurant's "Giropizza" offering. I'll start by saying that the pizza is good quality; I might dare to try a few different recipes, but it's good! Unfortunately, I found the service to be unsatisfactory, especially while waiting for my food, despite there not being a large number of guests. I hope this place can improve in this regard.

14/12/2025: My wife and I occasionally stop in Reggio Calabria from Vibo Valentia, and being used to large aperitifs at other places in Reggio, we stumbled upon this place. We ended up eating a mini platter with four appetizers, practically nothing. The non-alcoholic cocktail, made with freshly blended fruit, was excellent, and the price wasn't exactly cheap at €8. Aside from the cocktail, the service was good, and the atmosphere was welcoming. But I'm giving it one star because, after an aperitif, being as hungry as if you hadn't eaten anything is unacceptable in Reggio Calabria, famous for its large aperitifs.

03/09/2025: I was at this restaurant on August 27th. The entrance was sad, but the outside area was beautiful. The food (we only ordered fish) was really good and fresh. We waited 20 minutes to order, with one waiter for the entire outside area. It's absurd! After the waiter arrived, tragedy struck: they didn't have any wine. It's okay, they'd be closing for the season soon, but you have to have wine in a restaurant; it's absurd that they don't have one. The waiter who took our order couldn't speak, he was practically a troglodyte, just like the other waiters, who were absurdly incompetent. He brought us the appetizer, and I asked what "merca caldo/ freddo" was, and the answer was "I DON'T KNOW!" You bring a dish and you don't even know what you're holding, but everything's fine. "Improvised waiters," that's the answer. We went to pay the bill, €350.00, which we had to split since we were two couples with multiple children (there were nine of us in total). The cashier's response was, "YOU DO IT, I DON'T DO IT," incredibly rude. In conclusion, you have a very nice restaurant, practically on the beach. Try to change the way you respond to customers, serve them more correctly and competently, otherwise CLOSE YOUR BUSINESS.

05/10/2025: Atmosphere is nice. We ordered the starter (cheese with mushrooms), primo plate (risotto with Gorgonzola) and side dish (aubergine balls on a stick). We asked to eat this all together at the same time. We got our food in this order , aubergine first, waited 10 minutes got the risotto and 15 minutes later the cheese. The aubergine balls and the cheese with mushrooms were nice, the risotto was way too salty and not cooked properly.
03/10/2025: We were looking for a warm place on a cold evening. Our train was canceled after a very long journey, and we were sad. The atmosphere of this place, the service, and the food completely changed our mood! I wish we could have stayed longer 😊 We'll definitely be back!

02/09/2025: I paid for a small cone, and only after I'd prepared it was they told me I could add dark or white chocolate as a topping. Moreover, the bottom was completely empty, and they put very little chocolate on top.
16/08/2025: The gelato is delicious; the creams are solid and don't melt immediately. Another plus is that the cream is included in the price of the gelato, unlike almost all other gelato shops that charge extra.

26/08/2025: I'm sorry to give such a negative rating, but unfortunately, there are only problems. The star is for the cleanliness, and that's why I gave one star for the cleaning staff. The structure is a bit outdated, lack of maintenance. The shower head was broken, but it was fixed with a double indication. The balcony was unusable due to a pigeon nest above the air conditioner. Animal poop was everywhere, and there was a pigeon all the time. Maybe they hadn't cleaned that balcony in a while. I pointed it out, and after 4 or 5 days, they removed it all. I mentioned that other people had spikes on their cars, but the response was that it was natural. Annoyed after I threatened to leave, they fixed it. I would have left, but my partner preferred not to argue. A few days later, I asked for the bill and discovered that six of my friends had spent 10 euros less per day. I pointed this out, and the answer was that they'd started two days earlier. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE FOR THE ENTIRE PERIOD WE STAYED. They yelled at me, obviously, and called me rude, something I've never seen in years of staying at B&Bs. I'm sorry for everything, especially since it was our vacation. I didn't ask for anything special, just fairness.

29/11/2025: I didn't stay overnight, so I didn't use the room service, so I can't give a review. The place is very well-kept and welcoming. Spectacular view. We were there with friends for a private event. Good food.
02/10/2025: My girlfriend and I went for lunch at this beautiful farmhouse in the Cirò countryside. At first glance, we were captivated by the exotic birds lining the path from the parking lot to the farmhouse restaurant. As soon as we arrived, we were seated on the outdoor veranda, surrounded by windows offering a beautiful view. We ordered a delicious white wine from their own production, a mixed appetizer of local products, and two first courses: cavatelli with the classic meatball sauce and spaghetti with sardines and crumbled taralli. To finish, we ordered Pizzo Calabro truffle. Everything was delicious, and the location was truly welcoming and peaceful; we felt right at home. The prices are fair. After lunch, we took a walk and stopped to say hello to the ostriches, just above the other animals (birds and turtles); they were docile and friendly. A perfect place to spend a day immersed in nature and in tranquility.
