04/09/2024: Arrivati con grande aspettative per le ottime recensioni lette (sia sul cibo che sulla struttura) siamo rimasti fortemente delusi in quanto sia la struttura che il ristorante non rispecchiavano nemmeno minimamente le recensioni lette. Partiamo dalla struttura dove, per quanto pubblicizzato, dovrebbe esservi la possibilità di vivere didatticamente la fattoria, niente di tutto ciò. E' possibile vedere delle mucche, delle pecore, entrare nei locali dove viene fermentata la birra...ma nessuna persona dello staff presente per potere didatticamente spiegare il tutto. Parchi grandissimi con panche esclusivamente al sole...prati non particolarmente puliti. Ristorante: servizio inesistente e quando presente pessimo. Non discuto il Km-0 delle materie prime ma, l'assemblaggio è molto distante dal concetto di cucina. Grande delusione

01/09/2024: Questo luogo mi ha lasciata senza parole e con tantissime emozioni durante tutto il pranzo. L’accoglienza di Mara è stata gentile e attenta, la disponibilità della Signora Pina eccezionale, la velocità, disponibilità e cordialità di tutto lo staff senza paragoni! Il Sig. Mario, proprietario che abbiamo avuto il piacere di conoscere, ci ha fatto assaggiare la birra di loro produzione, un prodotto senza eguali! Un sapore autentico e unico, come tutto ciò che abbiamo mangiato! Dall’antipasto della casa con prodotti bio e assolutamente di loro produzione, ai primi che abbiamo avuto modo di assaggiare tutti grazie alla possibilità di ordinare i “duetti” (assaggi di due primi a scelta) e la lombata di vitello (di loro produzione) di un sapore e una tenerezza indescrivibili! Per finire con il dolce e la frutta, un cannolo di loro produzione con ricotta sempre prodotta da loro, un capolavoro! Ogni boccone ha raccontato qualcosa del loro impegno e del loro lavoro, ed io li ho sentiti tutti! Caffe e amaro e che ve lo dico a fare, amaro sempre fatto da loro con le essenze spontanee locali! Tutto questo non puoi essere valutato perche non ha prezzo! Grazie anche al Sig. Tommaso, con cui abbiamo avuto modo di chiacchierare e che ci ha trasmesso in pochi minuti i veri valori della vita! Grazie ancora di tutto e a presto!

30/06/2024: Very low evening costs but poor choice of products. In the end it was good but we ate very little due to the few differences between one dish and another.

04/08/2024: Traditionelle Küche inmitten der Familie ohne touristisches Drumherum! Super ! Die Aussicht von der Terrasse tief hinunter in die Schluchten und in die gegenüberliegenden Dörfer ist genial !

15/08/2024: As usual in Reggio Calabria it works "u sai cu sugnu eu e cu si tu", last night after we had booked at 9.30pm we queued up (considering that there are two queues for both the pizzeria and the restaurant), after more than half an hour of waiting the queue became quite long and the less polite people moved forward past the queue because a guy from the club who was shown the door only let them pass because he knew them or they were friends, and I don't think it's correct considering that we had all made the reservation and waited our turn, and obviously they passed in the restaurant line to go to the pizzeria just to do a favor or to do it first...so have a bit of respect and common sense for everyone because the people who see these scenes "even if they are not from Calabria" are disgusted to see these things....

15/08/2024: terrible place!! even with a reservation they made us wait an hour on the sofas at the entrance, which were also wet, which we obviously dried ourselves. another hour and a half to get some good pizzas to eat, which only made us feel bad the evening and the next day! inexperienced waiters, 30 minutes to bring us two bottles of water and despite the many thanks for everything they brought us they only managed to look at each of us badly and disgusted. I know it's hard work but you can at least pretend... in conclusion, terrible restaurant with exaggerated prices for the crap they make you eat

18/08/2024: For the review I consulted my granddaughter who is learning to judge the places we frequent and this is her opinion: "excellent pizza, good chips, friendly and quick waiters, small but well furnished place". Seven years later. August 16, 2024. A special evening at the Calypso camping village in Marina di Caulonia. La luna, the restaurant by the sea, a beautiful and large company of various European nations (Italians, Germans and a Dutchman), who for years have chosen Calypso to spend the summer on the sea of ​​the Ionian coast of Calabria. A special dinner with a single dish "fusilloni with cucuzzelli spinusi", the famous spiny wild artichokes widespread on this coast. A "five-star" cook, Antonella, who was able to introduce and enjoy a typical local dish that will remain in the memories of all the participants (18). And, finally, local ice creams (truffles) proposed by the village director, Marco, concluded a well-presented and well-served dinner. The positive opinion on the dinner was shared by all the guests, including children and teenagers (5 out of 18).

17/08/2024: The former restaurant and pizzeria no longer exists. We ate there last summer and, like all the years before, it was very good. It is closed or moved to a hut on the beach. The quality is no longer what it was back then. The pinsa was a finished floor with little covering. Coperto per person 2 euros. In a beach shack... That's it for the Calypso chapter. Too bad.

21/08/2024: We tried various pizzerias, in this one we found an excellent pizza with soft dough, high and soft crusts, thin centers and excellent quality toppings, the service is discreet, waiting times are fair.

20/08/2024: A really nice place, it has an internal room if the weather isn't the best but in summer it has a beautiful cool patio, where you can enjoy a good pizza. It has a nice car park and various distractions for the little ones such as the goldfish and turtle pond, the aviary with parrots, a garden with lots of bonsai and lots of space to run around. Run by a couple of friendly and helpful guys. Even takeaway the pizza is delicious.

08/05/2024: Very bad experience... we visited the restaurant last night, 7 May 2024, 3 people and we waited an hour and a half for three pasta dishes, incredible. No apologies, no explanations, no drinks offered to make up for it. Without a doubt our last visit to this place…
