03/11/2025: NO. A heartfelt and honest NO. An hour and a half, 1.5 hours, ninety minutes of waiting on an empty stomach to get: a pickled seafood salad and a nondescript, warm, mushy salmon. I'll skip over the FIORDILATTE and prosciutto passed off as mozzarella. But the highlight was the shrimp and zucchini paccheri, of which we've attached photos for posterity, with three pieces of zucchini, drowned in an ocean of cream that is absolutely impossible to offer today, or even yesterday. As we entered the "restaurant," a refrigerated truck was unloading 13 boxes of frozen fish under the sun, and when we—stupid, yes, but hopeful—asked the owner if the fish on the menu was frozen, he firmly stated no. Very fresh fish! Fresh from the freezer and brined from the fridge, for sure. Obviously, no mention of this on the menu... The price would have been average if the fish had been fresh. My husband proposes to raze the usurped space and return it to nature.

18/03/2026: The only positive aspect (perhaps) is that it's open 7 days a week. The owner is kind, but that's not enough. As for the rest, no, and I'll explain: Given that it's a very nice place on the lake, it's very, very neglected and dirty. Annual dust on the shelves, unironed and holed tablecloths, dirty glasses, and numerous bugs inside. As for the food, it wasn't everything: oil galore in the dishes, cured meats that were too fresh, and croutons full of vinegar. The bill was steep for what we ate: €22, and we didn't order wine, and we only ate first courses and two mini appetizers. Sorry, but it's not worth repeating.

12/02/2026: A delicious surprise! We started at Ciro' Martina on the recommendation of friends and stumbled upon this restaurant. We only had the appetizer because it's essentially a sampling of delicious local products. It starts with traditional cured meats and cheeses, fritters and stuffed eggplant, mushrooms, and zucchini, and ends with focaccia bread covered with "pip e patate" (a type of potato and onion) and "pignate" (a type of stuffed legume and merucuni)—all absolutely delicious. The homemade wine also deserves 5 stars. The service was excellent, and the location is a typical, well-kept inn that perfectly complements the cuisine, which is traditional Calabrian. We'll definitely be back, perhaps for lunch. Kudos to the staff.

17/12/2025: I'm sorry to be negative. I almost never am. I understand the sacrifice of those who work hard to keep a business going, but unfortunately today I have to be. A mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses, a mixed roast platter (5 pork ribs, 2 sausage skewers, 2 meat skewers, a pork shank, and a sliced ​​steak), 5 draft beers, a bottle of water, and a can of Coke. €43 per person! I'm so sorry, but I won't be back again.

14/10/2025: Cozy, peaceful place - without excessive luxury, but with friendly and helpful staff. Slightly worn apartments with sparse furniture and fixtures. Gas stove and small refrigerator as well as patio furniture. Large pool area. Buildings and outdoor areas need maintenance/upgrading. Half board is recommended (good food!) in the cozy restaurant, as there are over 1 km to eateries and shops - along a road not suitable for people with walking difficulties. A sad detail is that the many sweet and cuddly cats that live on site need better care and especially treatment for infectious eye inflammation, which makes most of them blind.

02/10/2025: The rooms are very basic and some are in need of renovation. Nevertheless, this hotel has a very special charm.
