01/09/2025: We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant, with the sound of the sea in the background. The first courses were excellent, plentiful, and clearly of high quality. The citron-flavored mayonnaise to accompany the fish and chips was a real treat. The wait staff was friendly and welcoming, always smiling. I'll be back to try the apricot sorbet.

24/02/2026: An unforgettable evening at Hale Bopp Restaurant! We were there with three adults and three children and enjoyed every dish. The bruschetta with tomato and mozzarella was a perfect starter, and the children loved the penne alla Bolognese. The gnocchi with basil and shrimp, as well as the octopus prepared in the Palermitan style, were a real treat, and the fried fish platter was simply outstanding. The freshness of the fish was particularly noteworthy; you could truly taste it. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed, which further enhanced the evening. We will definitely be back!

15/02/2026: My girlfriend and I went last night for Valentine's Day. The place is very large and spacious, and can also accommodate special events, but it's very out of the way. The evening was pleasant, but unfortunately I have to give it a low rating for two reasons: 1) The quality of the appetizer: in my opinion, the food was poor and packaged. We have so many local cured meats that going to Calabria and buying packaged items just to save a few euros isn't ideal. I ate it, but I felt sick that night. The pizza was good, but not the best. 2) Service: everything was fine. The staff were very attentive at the beginning and asked me about any intolerances on the pizza I had chosen, right up to the dessert and sparkling wine/Prosecco that were supposed to be served, but weren't served. I promptly reported this to the cashier, who was very kind and wanted to stop us or offer me a drink, which I declined because it was already late and I wanted to go home. The piano bar was very enjoyable, as was the Valentine's Day evening with the singer who, between songs, updated us on the Inter-Juventus match 😂. Overall, the experience wasn't bad, but I recommend reviewing the service and, above all, the quality of the ingredients. Sure, you charge €25 per person for a set menu with certain items, but at least include a decent appetizer that isn't prepackaged (cooked ham, which is the kind you get prepackaged in supermarkets). 06/06/2026: A truly positive experience. The starter platter was exceptional, rich, and meticulously prepared. The first courses, both seafood and traditional, were excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and great attention to flavor. The value for money is excellent, making the experience even more enjoyable. Kudos also to the staff, always friendly, helpful, and professional. The food was truly excellent in every way. I recommend this place without hesitation and will gladly return.

16/08/2025: I stayed at this property, managed by Mr. Giovanni and his wife, two excellent people. The place is well-maintained and clean. The food is fresh and authentic. The room is adequate for a mountain location, but clean and well-maintained. The linens are excellent. Breakfast is excellent. This place is not to be missed. Mauro

27/07/2025: Wonderful place right on the seashore... The service was great. But the food was awful: pizza with no sauce, pasta with clams without the clam sauce. A seafood appetizer that I have no words to describe how disgusting it was... We asked for some piadina bread, but they didn't serve it... We waited an hour and a half to receive our order. We were there in July on vacation and everyone had good things to say about this restaurant. Well, we'll never go back!

19/11/2025: The location is stunning, on the Pizzo marina. You can see the sea, but not the food! It's still worth going. Perfect for a gala evening or a ceremony, celebration, or occasion. Very large, with a spacious interior. Overlooking the sea. Very good!
