21/11/2025: NIGHTMARE DINNER. Unfortunately, I can't give a detailed review because it was truly a nightmare. I walked in and my friends were already at the table. I didn't feel welcome because as soon as I opened the door, I was overwhelmed by the screams of children who were sitting at a table quite isolated and far away from us. Honestly, I wanted to leave because we couldn't talk, but the girls had already had to wait for me because I was getting off work. Ordering was a huge undertaking given the noise, but the lady was fantastic and friendly. The pizza was good and light, but I couldn't finish my meal because the moment we politely asked the kids to keep their voices down, their parents yelled horrible things at us. They called us exhausted and wished the worst on us. None of the staff intervened. We left immediately and paid the full price, no discount, no apology from anyone. Personally, I will never set foot in there again. I thank God for how it went, because it could have been a tragedy given the crowd at that table. The level of delinquency was absolutely beyond belief. This is absolutely not the place for me. It's not for families or people with health problems who want to have a fun evening. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

15/11/2025: Very nice and well-maintained place, the staff is helpful and friendly. Excellent value for money, I will be back.

11/08/2026: We ordered the mussels with nduja, but they were just mussels with colored, acidic water. The paccheri with pistachios were very good, but the portions were very small for the price, and the seats were very uncomfortable. On the other hand, the staff was kind and polite. Nice and well-kept place.

06/08/2026: We went to eat here on the recommendation of our partner hotel. The meat appetizer and first courses were plentiful and delicious. I would have preferred more traditional cured meats.

19/08/2026: €3.60 for a cappuccino and a mini walnut braid seems excessive to me!!! P.S. The staff, at least, are very kind.

16/08/2026: I have breakfast outside with my family, the drinks paid in advance with a 1.70 euro service charge, did not arrive until about 1/2 hour after the reminders.

24/08/2026: I understand it's a busy time, but staff stress needs to be managed. Good selection of products (mushrooms, chili peppers, etc.) at slightly above-average prices.

21/08/2026: Unfortunately, a disappointing experience. The owner's welcome and customer service could be improved. The tagliolini with black truffle was ruined by a heavy cheese sauce, which completely covered the truffle aroma, "killing" the main flavor of the dish—this is a serious mistake. Also, imagine if there were lactose intolerance issues, which no one would have worried about. The final price was exorbitant for the quality of the food ordered. Both the service and the dish were well below expectations. I won't be returning.

20/10/2025: Great bar inside the shopping center, but the hospitality of the always available staff is *super*... especially Giuseppe who, with his kindness and qualifications at work, always knows how to find the solution... but above all he always makes you feel at home! 🔝

17/10/2025: The staff is friendly, helpful, and cheerful! Just what you need for a relaxing break!

24/08/2026: A rather disappointing experience at the Primo Re Lido Bar in Fuscaldo. I ordered a spritz and it was served without even a tray, which I personally find sloppy and unprofessional, especially for a beach bar. It's not so much the drink itself, but the attention to service and detail. I definitely expected more care and courtesy. What a shame.

02/07/2026: Fabulous location with a seafront terrace, meticulously maintained. Excellent food and service. The spaghetti with Fuscaldo anchovies and muddica is a must-try. We'll be back because we want to try the "fisherman's sandwich," with octopus and Tropea onions. The owner is incredibly kind and passionate about his work. And the results are evident! Bravo!

03/08/2026: A pleasant surprise. Good food and friendly service. I recommend the baccalá in úmido. Spectacular.

14/07/2026: We had dinner last night. The pizza was exceptional, especially the calzones. The service was top-notch. We'll definitely be back.

13/08/2026: All in all, a nice bar, shame the lady at the cashier isn't the friendliest.

12/08/2026: Yesterday it was more crowded than usual, because there was a party... I had the ice cream (cone) with: hazelnut, chocolate, and stracciatella... Very very good... Recommended to everyone!

21/07/2026: If you're in Scalea for a vacation, I recommend eating at this restaurant, which is also close to the sea! The food is delicious and top-quality! Both the burgers and the traditional Calabrian cuisine! The owner was incredibly kind from start to finish, even offering us a delicious mint liqueur and lollipops for the girls. Highly recommended.

25/07/2026: It's a small bar with an indoor dining area and a few tables outside for drinks and a bite to eat. It's located on the beautiful Lagonegro road, which leads to the sea through small, lush mountains. After leaving the Salerno-Reggio area, you take this road to reach the seaside towns. The bar offers excellent sandwiches with Calabrian schiacciata and cheese. For me, it's an almost obligatory stop when I'm on vacation in Calabria.

20/07/2026: For us, it's a family tradition, started by my Uncle Angelo about 50 years ago. Every time we need to reach Sangineto (CS), it's our go-to stop for a great sandwich, just like it used to be. Our favorite is Capocollo with Provola. I recommend everyone to stop by. Take the Lagonegro Nord exit, heading towards Martedì. After about 4 km, you'll arrive at GAGLIARDI, which is very convenient on your right.

02/12/2025: Excellent options, even too many. Trying a mix of appetizers, I found a blend of flavors, from the exquisite octopus and shrimp to the thawed tuna, which I wasn't expecting; it was still cold. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the spaghetti with butter-filled clams. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. Prices were average.

21/11/2025: Guys, this isn't the first time I've been here for lunch. The fish is delicious and the portions are generous. The price is reasonable (not expensive). The restaurant is welcoming and very beautiful, even aesthetically pleasing. What more could you ask for? I'll be back and definitely recommend it.

18/08/2026: We sat down at 9:30 PM, and at 10:00 PM we were still sitting at our table waiting for someone to come up to us and ask if we wanted, at the very least, a drink during the "pre-order" phase. I think there should be a foundation for catering, wherever it is. A customer who's been seated can't wait half an hour to order (not even if there were 500 Christians). We got up and left without even warning, without the minimal consideration they didn't even show us (which we always show, as respectful customers).

02/07/2026: The pasta at the Assize Court was good, and the pizza was good.

06/06/2026: My experience is positive! The meat section is good and well-stocked. I especially recommend the local produce. The deli counter is also well-stocked with all kinds of products. Prices, however, are average for a discount store.

03/06/2026: Some products are excellent, the rest is a matter of taste.

09/08/2026: A perfect location to celebrate important milestones and share unforgettable moments with friends and family. Kudos to all the staff for helping make the evening even more beautiful. A wonderful experience, and a highly recommended restaurant.

16/07/2026: The pizza was bad, both the dough and the toppings. The pumpkin risotto didn't taste like pumpkin, and the fish was of average quality. The pie wasn't good at all. The appetizer was good. The potatoes were nothing special. The risotto had clams the size of fingernails, enough to break your teeth! The grilled meats were limited, but the flavor was good.

31/07/2026: Very rude and pushy, especially when it came to the bill. Really showed that he didn't like the fact that everyone wanted to pay for themselves (3 people). Pizza substandard, tasted like cardboard. Fries undercooked. 10 euros for a small cutlet with some shredded lettuce on the side. Very unfortunate that this was the end of our holiday.

30/07/2026: Table staff were friendly. Pizza quite greasy. Cash register staff were not friendly.
