Antica Pizzeria 13
Cosenza
10/01/2026: My favorite pizzeria! Delicious pizza and staff that always make you feel at home, part of the family! A great place for kids too, with excellent rotisserie options, including delicious meatballs! You're our favorite place. Thank you!
12/12/2025: The real pizza made Calabrian style as God commands! Thin dough, fresh ingredients, the tomato is a delight. A pizzeria that stays true to its own way of preparing pizza. In my opinion, there is no point in imitating the inimitable and grandiose Neapolitan pizza because it remains unique in its flavor and style! So congratulations to the pizza chef of Pizzeria 13 who has his own identity and his pizzas demonstrate it by delighting the palates of those who eat them!!!! 👍🏻👏🏻

Il Paiolo Magico
Praia a mare
18/09/2025: Half parmigiana and half lasagna for €37, far from cheap.
20/08/2025: Every summer, I stop by this place to try something. This year, I was unpleasantly surprised by the decline in product quality, portion size, and the exorbitant price increase.
The pizza slices pictured cost around €9 and weren't even worth a single pizza. We then ordered arancini (dry, presumably frozen) and a stuffed calzone (which was all bread).
I'm truly sorry.

Osteria della Ruga
Caccuri
11/12/2025: We had lunch with friends. The menu was beautifully presented by the host, who immediately clarified the price and terms. The dishes were well-prepared and very generous. My advice: focus more on traditional recipes and local products. In any case, we had a great time; it felt like family; we'll definitely be back.
25/10/2025: It's a shame you don't have a menu where you can see the prices. Then when you bring the bill with the note, it's nice but it doesn't work.
Can you tell me how much an appetizer and a main course cost?

AGRITURISMO CANALICCHIO
Nocera terinese
21/08/2025: One star is for the quantity of food, but not for the quality.
The organization isn't the best, and above all, they should remember those who asked for lactose-free food, and that it's not enough to say, "Okay, I'll take the cheese off your top," because physical problems are the customers'.
The pool was paid for even by those who didn't use it when the lady handing out bracelets said it wouldn't be included in the price.
For us, 10 euros doesn't change someone's life, but for some, it does.
"The pool still costs money for cleaning, lounge chairs, and the cool air."
We sat on plastic chairs in the sun, but that's fine 😂
The animals are poorly kept in cages, and the pond isn't a pond.
I don't recommend it to my friends, but I recommend it to my enemies.

They offer a lunch menu with first and second courses, a good selection of wines, and decent coffee with Amaro del Capo.

La Cantinetta - Dr Pizza & Mr Wine
Badolato
19/10/2025: Really enjoyed our meal here from start to finish. The service was so lovely and while no one else was there, as it was off season, he put on music and created a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious. We got local harvest olive oil, two days old, absolutely delicious as was the house red wine. The zuppa faglioli was molto Buono 🥰🥰😋 would definitely go back and was very happy with our little meal here 😊😊❤️❤️
09/10/2025: Nice place and good service. The food was mediocre at best.

Eroe dei due mondi
Amantea
19/08/2025: The owner (I assume), manager, pizza chef, chef, and, in short, Deus Ex Machina Raffaele deserves 5 stars for his helpfulness and the kindness he exudes from every pore. In my opinion, it's impossible to argue with someone like him. I have many Calabrian friends and acquaintances, but he's one of a kind. A visit to his culinary "laboratory" is worth a visit just for the pleasure of meeting him.
My family and I were returning from a trip to Tropea and Pizzo, two pearls of Calabria's Tyrrhenian coast that have nothing to envy of the Sorrento peninsula (I'd almost say "quite the opposite"). We were hungry, however, and we could have eaten and digested stones. That said, we wanted pizza, and while we waited, he offered us some fried calamari, made with clean oil and quite tasty. Then the pizzas arrived. I'm not judging these because I'm Neapolitan and these pizzas are not, so there's no point in trying to be a sophist. If you're in Amantea and order a pizza, you can eat it and keep quiet.
Afterwards, he offered us some ravioli filled with "seafood" and topped with a nice prawn. If they had been hot and the sauce thinner, I wouldn't hesitate to call them as stratospheric as dear Raffaele said. After a very honest bill, he offered us coffee.
In conclusion, the atmosphere isn't appealing, but there's outdoor seating, in the pizzeria, and in the restaurant. The cooking is influenced by the fact that Raffaele does everything himself, with the help, I believe, of his children—many young, well-mannered people. I've described the place as a "workshop" because it has the potential to grow, and I wish it the best of luck. Perhaps if Antonino Cannavacciuolo were to come by, he'd know how to guide him. One thing's for sure: I'll be back. And if you go and find the food isn't good, or even too good, I urge you to be more tolerant; Raffaele deserves it.
Last but not least: the name of the place would normally scare me away, but he likes it, so be it.

Pizzeria L'intervallo
Catanzaro
27/08/2025: I was very pleased with the pizza I had at this pizzeria. The tomato sauce was good, and the crust was thin and crispy, just the way I like it. If you're passing through Catanzaro and craving pizza, I highly recommend it!

Napul'è | Cucina Napoletana
Corigliano calabro
22/11/2025: I hate to say it, but I'm Neapolitan. I ate a pizza Lucicefero thinking it would be spicy, but besides not being spicy, the pizza leaves a lot to be desired. A place called Napul'e that claims to serve Neapolitan cuisine is a far cry.
16/11/2025: Simply the best restaurant on the Ionian coast near Cosenza. Super fresh fish, refined and generous dishes, exceptional execution, and a professional and friendly staff. The best!
