06/05/2026: Excellent grilled panini Regeliana: focaccia with pistachio cream cheese & mortadella!The sfogliatella riccia was warm & crunchy & buttery and absolutely the best sfogliatella I’ve tasted in southern Italy!🇮🇹
The barista & cooks & staff were so kind & patient and appreciated how much we enjoyed their delicious food!
They made us feel so welcomed!

25/07/2026: It's a small bar with an indoor dining area and a few tables outside for drinks and a bite to eat.
It's located on the beautiful Lagonegro road, which leads to the sea through small, lush mountains. After leaving the Salerno-Reggio area,
you take this road to reach the seaside towns. The bar offers excellent sandwiches with Calabrian schiacciata and cheese. For me, it's an almost obligatory stop when I'm on vacation in Calabria.
20/07/2026: For us, it's a family tradition, started by my Uncle Angelo about 50 years ago. Every time we need to reach Sangineto (CS), it's our go-to stop for a great sandwich, just like it used to be.
Our favorite is Capocollo with Provola.
I recommend everyone to stop by.
Take the Lagonegro Nord exit, heading towards Martedì. After about 4 km, you'll arrive at GAGLIARDI, which is very convenient on your right.

01/06/2026: The perfect place in Scalea for your meals. The typical cuisine is served both in a work menu available at lunchtime and in à la carte menu at dinner.
We stopped at lunch this weekend and we had the possibility of choosing between two different pasta dishes and two main courses together with side dishes and beverage at the price of €15 per person.
We really enjoyed our time and we treated us with a vanilla ice cream with fig and hot honey that absolutely made the day.

19/07/2026: We arrived unannounced in our campervan and received a warm welcome. The nonna of the house served us a four-course meal with water, wine, and coffee. Including the overnight stay, we paid 40 euros – what more could you ask for? When her daughter arrived home, we discovered she was the owner of the kiosk at the Terme delle Ninfe spa, where we had spent the day.

14/02/2026: Negative experience... a Valentine's Day dinner (2026) where we gave them 70 euros for a poor appetizer, 2 truly inedible first courses, only 3 pasta hearts, and a fried food that can't even be called such, almost starving. I didn't wait for dessert because I had already seen so much from the dinner, I saved myself a trauma. Never again. The place should be closed starting with dinner in the cold it was.
14/02/2026: A decidedly negative experience. I ate at this restaurant on Valentine's Day and it was a bad experience. Unfortunately, the food was poor, and the portions were very small. The portions were small, and the food didn't live up to expectations. The place was cold and the service was unwelcoming. I won't even talk about it. I absolutely don't recommend it.

After a long, hot days sail we saw the Pizzeria Barrel wasn't too far from where we were anchored 🤔 We decided to get a pizza to eat on the boat ⛵. So glad we did for €14 we got a pizza that even the two of us found filling and Frittata as a side. The pizza was just what we needed, hot, a large size and delicious 😋😋 The toppings were fresh and just right and the base was amazing ♥️, the potato Frittata were hot and chunky, we couldn't finish them all to be honest.
The night before we set sail we went back for another pizza 🍕, we will definitely be back 👍

17/03/2026: Women's Day. We ate wonderfully; the only flaw was the risotto with fennel and sausage, which was a bit salty. The appetizer was excellent and plentiful, the service excellent, and the orders were prompt. The music brightened the day, and Mrs. Lena was very kind.
