25/07/2026: It's a small bar with an indoor dining area and a few tables outside for drinks and a bite to eat. It's located on the beautiful Lagonegro road, which leads to the sea through small, lush mountains. After leaving the Salerno-Reggio area, you take this road to reach the seaside towns. The bar offers excellent sandwiches with Calabrian schiacciata and cheese. For me, it's an almost obligatory stop when I'm on vacation in Calabria.

20/07/2026: For us, it's a family tradition, started by my Uncle Angelo about 50 years ago. Every time we need to reach Sangineto (CS), it's our go-to stop for a great sandwich, just like it used to be. Our favorite is Capocollo with Provola. I recommend everyone to stop by. Take the Lagonegro Nord exit, heading towards Martedì. After about 4 km, you'll arrive at GAGLIARDI, which is very convenient on your right.

21/11/2025: NIGHTMARE DINNER. Unfortunately, I can't give a detailed review because it was truly a nightmare. I walked in and my friends were already at the table. I didn't feel welcome because as soon as I opened the door, I was overwhelmed by the screams of children who were sitting at a table quite isolated and far away from us. Honestly, I wanted to leave because we couldn't talk, but the girls had already had to wait for me because I was getting off work. Ordering was a huge undertaking given the noise, but the lady was fantastic and friendly. The pizza was good and light, but I couldn't finish my meal because the moment we politely asked the kids to keep their voices down, their parents yelled horrible things at us. They called us exhausted and wished the worst on us. None of the staff intervened. We left immediately and paid the full price, no discount, no apology from anyone. Personally, I will never set foot in there again. I thank God for how it went, because it could have been a tragedy given the crowd at that table. The level of delinquency was absolutely beyond belief. This is absolutely not the place for me. It's not for families or people with health problems who want to have a fun evening. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

06/07/2026: ITA Pedro's is a pizzeria that deserves a visit. The ambience is modern, accogliente and ben curato, ideal sia for a cena in family sia for a serata tra amici. The pizza is prepared with an impasto leggero and ben lievitato, condition with ingredients freschi and the quality of the valorizzano and samples of the traditional Calabrese. The menu also offers a great variety of specialties, all of which taste great. The personal is gentle, available and attentive to all the essence of the clients, contributing to creating a pleasant atmosphere. Also the quality report is prezzo. A place where passion, professionalism, and quality meet, making every visit a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone in Rossano. Pedro's is a pizzeria you absolutely must visit. The restaurant boasts a modern and cozy atmosphere and is perfect for families or an evening with friends. The pizza is made with a perfectly fermented, airy dough and fresh, high-quality ingredients, which really brings out the authentic Calabrian flavors. The other dishes also offer plenty of variety and excellent quality. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels welcome. The value for money is also very good. Here, passion, craftsmanship, and hospitality come together – a place I will gladly visit again on my next trip to Rossano.

24/04/2026: The pizza par excellence is the Margherita, and its ingredients are extremely simple: tomato, mozzarella, and basil. If one of these is missing, we're talking about something else. If a pizza chef can't make a Margherita or forgets an ingredient, it's better to make something else! The quantity and quality of the ingredients are very low.

11/08/2026: We ordered the mussels with nduja, but they were just mussels with colored, acidic water. The paccheri with pistachios were very good, but the portions were very small for the price, and the seats were very uncomfortable. On the other hand, the staff was kind and polite. Nice and well-kept place.

06/08/2026: We went to eat here on the recommendation of our partner hotel. The meat appetizer and first courses were plentiful and delicious. I would have preferred more traditional cured meats.

19/08/2026: To start the day, drinks and... bread were served - unfortunately... dry, like a horse's bread :) When I asked if it was a Calabrian specialty? Or was it stale? The waiter hung his head and didn't say anything, running out of sight. But... I ordered a plate with Calabrian flavors and a plate that was okay. I can recommend it + steak in pieces with baked potatoes (- potatoes and... okay... but Steak for -3 July : ( ) + 2 second set: Dorada fish with a walnut and poppy seed topping + beans and carrots included, and I rate this a 4 (for the combination of flavors). For a restaurant like this, it's a poor, though atmospheric, place... My complaint concerns only the stale bread you serve, but you're really defining your own reputation with a comment like that—after all, a 4.1 Google rating speaks for itself :) To start, they served drinks and... bread—unfortunately, it was as dry as something meant for a horse. When I asked if this was a Calabrian specialty or just constantly, the waiter hung his head, said nothing, and hurried out of sight. However, I ordered a "Taste of Calabria" platter—that was fine, I’d recommend it—along with sliced ​​steak and roasted potatoes (the potatoes were okay, but the steak was a total letdown—a real dud). I also had a second dish: sea bream with a walnut-poppy seed topping, served with green beans and carrots; I’d rate that a 4 (for the flavor combination). It was a disappointing performance for a restaurant of this caliber, even though the place itself has a great atmosphere.
