04/03/2026: We went for lunch today, and the experience was terrible. We walked in and were greeted by a waiter who, without even acknowledging our greeting, said, "I'll be right there." Five minutes later, he arrived and showed us to our table. We read the daily menu, which only included two options: first and second courses. The waiter came over and I told him we weren't sure what to eat, and he rudely replied, "Do you want me to choose your dish?" We opted for the à la carte menu, choosing two lasagnas that arrived over 40 minutes later, and were cold with a sour sauce placed under the portion. We opted for pike and potatoes as a side, which arrived soaked in oil and therefore inedible. The staff is very arrogant, given that we had left practically everything, they didn't ask us anything about our satisfaction or anything else, they give us the bill and make us pay €40 for two portions of lasagna, two plates of pipi and potatoes and 1 bottle of purified water, absurd prices due to the rudeness of the waiter but above all for the very poor quality of the products.

13/10/2025: Delicious food but the service was excellent. Very nice and helpful owners, when we asked to order a taxi, they didn't even want to hear about it, they took us to Ciro Marina for the price of dinner and wine. Thank you again.

16/09/2025: I've been coming to L'Aquila D'Oro for years, and every time it feels like coming home. The cuisine is authentically homemade and exudes all the warmth and passion of the family that runs it. In the kitchen, mom Elisabetta and Giuseppe prepare wonderful dishes, bursting with flavor and tradition. In the dining room, dad Salvatore and Giovanni always welcome you with a smile and a rare warmth: the hospitality here is truly special. I recommend everyone try the tripe, one of the restaurant's most incredible specialties: flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. L'Aquila D'Oro isn't just for good food, but for an experience of family, hospitality, and authentic cuisine. A place I will always hold in my heart.

29/12/2025: I chose this venue to celebrate a special day: my graduation, and I couldn't have made a better choice. We opted for a seafood and meat menu, and everything was simply exceptional: dishes crafted with attention to detail, top-quality ingredients, and flavors that truly delighted all our guests. Every course was a delight, from start to finish. A special thanks goes to the owner, Santo, a truly extraordinary person: super professional, always present, attentive to every need, yet at the same time kind, helpful, and capable of making you feel at home. You can clearly see the passion he puts into his work, and that makes all the difference. The organization was impeccable, the service attentive and punctual, the atmosphere perfect for such a special occasion. I received so many compliments from our guests, and that says it all. If you're looking for a place to celebrate an important event, eat beautifully, and feel welcomed with a smile, this venue is an absolute must. A heartfelt thank you to Santo and all the staff for making my graduation party unforgettable. I'll definitely be back!

24/08/2025: The pizza is truly excellent, with expertly crafted dough and classic toppings that enhance its quality. Overall, it's an excellent pan pizza. To enjoy it fresh from the oven, I recommend ordering it. Alternatively, if you're in a hurry, the one on display is equally delicious when lightly reheated in the oven. They also offer a few rotisserie specialties, including a delicious topped pizza. I've been frequenting this place for three years every time I'm in the area, and so far it has always lived up to expectations. A great choice for a takeout pizza to share with friends!

20/10/2025: The freshly mopped floor smelled foul, a sign it was simply wet without using adequate detergents. The coffee was tepid and very weak. Two flavorless cannoli miniatures cost €1.20 each. A disappointing experience. It's a shame because the place definitely deserves a higher rating.

16/10/2025: I'm from Poland, during my vacation in 2025 I drank delicious coffee there, the service was very nice, it was amazing, I hope to come back there next year and I recommend it :)

30/09/2025: A nice environment for a meal. Service was good but the pizzas were tasty but somewhat inconsistent across the table with some overcooked and some undercooked. We did bring this to the attention of the staff and they rectified it without fuss.

07/09/2025: Nice restaurant. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food fell short of expectations. The (raw) sausages and very commercial fries. The pizza was truly 20 years old, in a sadly negative way.

02/02/2026: A wonderful experience for families, the perfect place! Even for children, they can connect with nature and animals. The outdoor space is very large and lovely, with the option of dining outside. The lunch was excellent. Friendly staff. We'll be back.

28/12/2025: Unfortunately, it was a negative experience. Upon arrival, we were told that the table would be held for two other people who were arriving shortly. However, during the wait, the table was taken several times by other customers, and only after we repeatedly reported it was it vacated again. In the end, despite the initial agreement, the staff justified themselves by saying that they "don't hold seats," which completely contradicted what we had initially been told. This unclear and unprofessional management created discomfort and confusion. Furthermore, photos taken of the restaurant reveal chemical products stored in a manner that doesn't comply with HACCP regulations, a very serious issue for a restaurant business and calls into question its attention to hygiene and food safety. It's a shame, because more clarity, organization, and compliance with the rules would be enough to offer adequate service. At this time, the experience is not recommended.

17/11/2025: A fairly well-known place, off the main drag, but there will still be a line on holidays. The food is average; the same dishes can be found at other restaurants of similar quality. The difference is the large, filling pita sandwich. Unfortunately, at Sunday lunchtime, we waited over an hour for the first course, despite the small crowd. The prices are slightly lower than average for the area.
