21/02/2024: terrible experience had on Valentine's Day... Reservation at 9.30pm, we go there at 9.23pm and we are told "it's still too early, come later". (The table for two was free) Okay, let's go out, wait, come back at 9.30pm and without even saying goodbye the girl beckons us to follow her and sit at the same table that we had seen free 7 minutes earlier... okay let's move on. He takes over at around 9.40pm, we order the dishes and drinks, the water and a glass are served to us after a quarter of an hour. the first courses arrive at 10.15pm...that is, simple wakame and tempura prawns. It's absurd to wait so long for such banal dishes, but after these we are completely abandoned for three long quarters of an hour in which not even the shadow of the rolls! the other people in the room continued to order and receive dishes except us! when the girl asked for explanations about such long waiting times, she replied with "OH OK, SOMEONE HAS ARRIVED" we ask them not to prepare the missing dishes anymore because it was really late by then, but by chance the dishes start to arrive and one of them is even given to us at the checkout to TAKE AWAY in order to make us pay for it! Rudeness reigns supreme in that place! never again, this happens when you get too big in your head... P.S. At least he had to bring the glass of wine with the first course as it had become very hot. Terrible, really

09/12/2023: Seconda recensione a distanza di 6 anni . Il miglior locale dove mangiare sushi a Cjrotone e provincia . Rapporto qualità prezzo top, pesce freschissimo, tempura eccezionale. Dopodiché armatevi di santa pazienza : tempi di attesa infiniti , cameriera proprietaria lenta/ inospitale/ ansiogena/rigida/mai un sorriso . Metto 4 stelle perché è difficile trovare un posto dove si mangia meglio , e basterebbe veramente un pò di autocritica da parte della proprietaria per fare il salto di qualità.

09/08/2024: Truly excellent! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A round of applause to chef Nino Gramuglia; excellent host who tastefully furnished the place, welcomes guests politely, advises delicately and accompanies customers skilfully throughout the meal. 👌🏼 The dishes were truly excellent and well presented, accompanied by excellent bread and artisanal breadsticks (most likely also baked by the chef) as well as a very cold white wine recommended by chef Gramuglia. 🥂🍾 It's a shame to already be full with the starter and first course, thanks to the quantity and quality of the dishes. You can't give up dessert and it's a good thing we didn't do it because we would have lost two delicious cheesecakes (we chose one with three chocolates and one with caramel 😋). It will mean that to taste the second courses you will have to come back 😉... with great pleasure 😊. Considering the quality of the dishes and that the fish is fresh and excellent, the prices are within the norm. It is precisely the case to say: "Congratulations to the chef!" 👨‍🍳

13/07/2024: Coming to Bagnara and not eating at Zefiro is a sin, but a serious one. The place is very welcoming, elegant and super clean. What is striking, wow effect 🥳, is the view over the Strait of Messina with a double large corner window: spectacular! The minimal and elegant equipment is very beautiful and contextualized. I ate with pop and jazz instrumental music in the background: it gives the environment a particular convivial, sophisticated and relaxing aspect. Overall, the place is really suitable for formal, but also family and romantic meetings. The service is particularly attentive, super kind and fast. All very pleasant and jovial. You know when they say: "the eye also wants its part?", well the saying fits perfectly. The appetizers are delicious, then I recommend the Sardinian gnocchi with swordfish 😋😋😋, what can I say?

27/08/2024: In this place I found the worthy competitor of the next season of nightmare kitchens. Terrible service, poor food and delay after delay in the courses. more than an hour between the first diner and the last. How many were we there? only 5, but for them everything was normal as reported by the alleged room manager. Antonino please come forward and good luck.

26/08/2024: In questo posto ho trovato il degno concorrente della prossima stagione di cucine da incubo. Servizio pessimo, cibo scadente e ritardi su ritardi nelle portate. più di un ora tra il primo commensale e l’ultimo. Quanti eravamo? solo 5, ma per loro era tutto normale come riferito dal presunto capo sala. Antonino fatti avanti per favore e buona fortuna.

15/08/2024: Sono tornato a distanza di un anno, ma non per mia scelta. Il posto è molto molto bello, il personale gentile e disponibile, il servizio ottimo. Si tratta però di un lido, non di un ristorante, ed infatti la cucina non è da ristorante. Materie prima di qualità, ma cucinate male, mancano proprio i sapori. Prezzo estremamente eccessivo. Sarebbe apprezzabile poter vedere i listini prima di prenotare.

06/08/2024: I read the other reviews only today, after having spent 10 days of holiday in this wonderful land and at this beach initially chosen by chance... I have read very negative reviews and I honestly don't agree... this was not my experience which I give full 5 stars. Clean, well-kept and very efficient beach (2 examples: the wooden walkway between the umbrellas is swept every 2 hours and the sunbeds are checked when they open and tighten the screws when necessary), two beach and rescue staff always present, available and very polite. Free cold shower service and hot shower service for 50 cents, table football for the kids and finally restaurant for lunch and dinner with delicious dishes. I personally recommend hamburger sandwich, provola cheese, onion, salad and tomatoes to eat even under the umbrella, exceptional!!! Kindness and friendliness of the owner, Mr. Massimo, always ready to meet every need, as well as of all the staff. Honest prices from the beach to drinks. I highly recommend it!!!

02/07/2024: Di passaggio a Siderno per questioni di lavoro, ci siamo fermati qui perché è stato il primo bar che abbiamo trovato aperto. Caffè non memorabile, dolci artigianali discreti.

26/06/2024: With friends we sat in the small open gazebo located directly on the pavement of Corso Garibaldi, the general impression is not the best, the floor is dirty with napkins and plastic cups crumpled and trampled by customers. The quality of the ice cream and almond granita is modest, while the brioches are good, but you can perceive the lack of attention paid by the owners in treating and preventing what has been highlighted. Sin.

26/06/2024: Ristorante con dehor dove vengono proiettate le partite di calcio. Un menù con più piatti di carne che non di pesce. Di molto buono abbiamo mangiato l hamburger con le patatine. Il tagliere di salumi e formaggi era appena sufficiente e gli spaghetti con vongole e cozze sembravano un piatto di pasta in bianco a cui avevano aggiunto dopo i molluschi...non era amalgamato. Spesa sui 40 euro a persona per una cena così così Pablera e signora

18/08/2024: A chicken coop, people coming at you from everywhere, total disinterest in the parking lot, in fact it's like parking in a jungle, food badly cooked and of very poor quality, I had an angry one but it didn't even have the hint of angry one, raw and spicy sauce zero, according to a scallop with lemon it had a cadaverous face not to mention the flavour, it was a mixture of the taste of meat defrosted at the moment, water on the plate and flour that looked like a patrol that you couldn't even taste the lemon, service from improvised kids who at moments I had to set the table myself, I don't know how many times I called them because something was missing, never again

28/08/2024: WRONG!!!!!!!!! LITTLE CLARITY. A bit long review but I hope you read it all. I found out about this restaurant through Instagram. I was struck by the view and especially by the table in front of the window where you can see a beautiful panorama. I book with a WhatsApp message asking, for lunch, the table in front of the window (the only one and only the others were distributed around the room which in any case have a view...even a table is near the balcony). Perfect shame that when I get there they ask me if I knew how it worked. I imagined it like any other restaurant. No. If you sit in front of the panoramic window you must necessarily consume two dishes each. This was not specified to me during booking. Once there we accept the proposal and sit down. We were given a menu without prices saying that we could take what we wanted (referring to two dishes each) and the cost would be €60.00 per person. We ordered two appetizers and two first courses. The starters are really skimpy compared to the price, while the first course is more abundant. The appetizers ordered did not have a surcharge or certainly it was not written on the menu but when the bill came the cost increased. We took the dish of the day: spaghetti with lobster sauce. In this case we were not told that the dish of the day had another cost (higher obviously). Then we add a glass of wine and a bottle of water. Long story short, two of us paid €220.00. Scrolled from start to finish. Lack of clarity which deceives the customer. The quality of the food must be paid for and I agree with it, at the same time I demand clarity to allow me to decide whether it is worth it or not.

27/08/2024: So, my girlfriend and I were on holiday in the splendid Tropea and, wanting to eat in a beautiful place for the occasion, we chose this place following the photos seen on the internet. We booked the table overlooking the sea during the sunset to have an experience to remember, when we arrived on site they made us sit at the booked table and only after having sat down did we find out, thanks to the staff, that the chosen table had a separate menu , which required a minimum spend of 60 euros for 2 courses and 75 euros per person for 3, excluding side dishes. The news, being kids anyway, made us laugh a little, but now sitting at the table we preferred not to say anything and looked at the menu. The food however, of course, was delicious, fresh and very tasty. The setting was very fascinating, the sunset over the sanctuary was breathtaking, however the table was quite "narrow" without much possibility of moving, the bathroom was nothing special. The discreet service, little analysis of the dishes when they were served, staff anxiously staring at the customers and as I mentioned before the detail of the different menu which we were not aware of until we sat down (without the possibility of choosing and in any case obviously finding ourselves in an embarrassing situation). In total for 2 starters, 2 second courses, 1 side dish and a bottle of water we spent 150 euros. We still spent a beautiful evening with a wonderful view, but we would have preferred to know the various details regarding the menu first, thus being free to choose.

25/08/2024: For the third consecutive year we returned to the legendary Nicodemo to delight ourselves with its fantastic pizzas. Cornices puffy like dinghies, light as air, tasty pizzas with real tomato sauce, real fiordilatte mozzarella and genuine ingredients, typical of the place and of quality. He and his faithful helper while they roll out, season and cook the pizzas, smile and even talk to us with the dough... they ask customers how it went, in short, a lot of passion for the product and a lot of attention to the customer. The father was always friendly and helpful, and the sister, always super professional, pampered us at the table, advising us and making sure we didn't miss anything. In addition to the pizzas, we recommend trying the fried pizzas and the fried pizza dough knots filled with mozzarella and ham. Mind-blowing....keep it up.
