01/09/2024: Ci siamo andati per pranzo il 1 settembre 2024. Dopo piu di un’ora di attesa, senza pane sulla tavola, senza secchiello con il ghiaccio l’acqua e il vino sono diventati caldi e dopo tanti solleciti finalmente sono arrivati gli spaghetti cozze e vongole. Il secondo è arrivato dopo un’altra mezz’ora. Servizio pessimo , ma il mangiare era buono anche il vino bianco. Peccato non ci ritorneremo piu’

28/11/2024: Eating Emilio's ice cream is a real experience. From classics to soft ice cream, every flavor is incredible, but the classic Crema di Emilio is unsurpassed! The venue is also very beautiful and the aesthetics are taken care of at 360 degrees, great attention to detail shines through. We also tried some of the products on sale, and the Emilio selection jams are truly delicious.

28/11/2024: Emilio's ice cream is definitely one of the best ice creams I have ever eaten. Emilio, a visionary owner, despite his shyness, manages to convey his passion for artisanal ice cream making and attention to the workmanship and choice of raw materials which are all of the highest quality! It's no coincidence that Niko Romito chose it for his bombshell!

22/10/2024: Good food, nice ideas about the presentation, a little distracted service. Overall a nice place in the heart of Matera.

16/09/2024: The worst oven in history!!! I come in at around 1pm, I approach the rotisserie counter and ask what the focaccia tasted like, he replies tuna mozzarella onion, hesitates for a moment and then tells me but it's from yesterday! I pass to the one next to me a whole wheel of mozzarella and vegetables and he tells me this too is from yesterday! I am a little shocked but as a driver and having little time I ask him which focaccia was fresh and (so as not to be rude and go away on an empty stomach) he shows me a tomato sauce, ok I take a very small piece and feeling hungry I take a rustic ricotta and spinach. I eat the small piece of focaccia and I doubt it was day old and the rustic ricotta and spinci in my opinion was more than a day old. I ate 2 bites of focaccia and threw it away and 2 bites of the rustico clearly thrown away. So I wonder how is it possible in 2024 to have old food on display from the day before if not beyond (declared by the owner) in an oven? I appreciate the shop assistant's sincerity in at least warning you that the stuff was old.

30/08/2024: the food is good and I can't find any faults, however the staff is really rude, as soon as I entered the restaurant they didn't take me into consideration at all, in fact, while the staff were busy chatting I was in front of the empty counter waiting patiently. in the end after 2-3 minutes a girl paid attention to me and I was able to order my humble slice of focaccia. (during the 2-3 minutes of waiting I was seen several times by the staff who did not decide to act). in conclusion I think it is unacceptable not to have anyone at the counter to serve customers and I can say this with certainty since I have come here several times, and I think I will not return again.

15/07/2024: It was one of my all-time favorite pizzerias, an hour's drive from my hometown. But alas, from today the vote is absolutely negative. After booking for a birthday three days in advance, not only did we arrive and it was closed, you didn't bother to call the customer well in advance or leave a notice abroad to inform customers of the sudden closure. Truly unspeakable behavior that will force me to never return. And I say this with deep regret.

29/07/2024: Sul lungolido offre ampia scelta tra tortilla con kebab, piadine e pucce. Non un granché la qualità è i sapori. Gli ingredienti non sono ben conditi né cucinati come dovuto Prezzi medi C é di meglio

19/11/2024: I called this pizzeria for a takeaway, I wasted money and I was literally disgusted!!! The pizza sucks and it's cooked in an electric oven. The fried foods are industrial, they don't prepare anything and they delivered them to me full of oil which is even more disgusting!!! For goodness' sake it must close!!!

10/10/2024: Everything is good, from the pizzas to the first courses are excellent, the second courses are exquisite I fully recommend everything ok

11/01/2025: We used the restaurant, together with the whole family, during the Christmas holidays. This review therefore focuses on the restaurant only (NOT the hotel). Very inconvenient place to reach, over fussy. We arrived at 1.30pm (just before the set time for lunch) and the room was very cold, they had just turned on the heaters (but they didn't have access to the radiators even if they were present in the room). The cold continued throughout lunch, even some people always had lunch with their jackets on. I consider it unacceptable to organize a holiday lunch and have the room be cold. Moving on to the food, the menu was pre-established and was inspired by Trentino cuisine, really rubbish (not for Trentino cuisine but for how they cooked). Embarrassing portions, not even a child would have eaten them. The dumplings were pre-cooked and frozen, to me personally when they were brought to me they were hot yes on the outside but internally they were still FROZEN, FROZEN I'm not joking, this thing should NEVER happen. Another example was the cannelloni, these too were pre-cooked and only reheated and the portion was two measly cannelloni per head. Dolcusi in the end and really speaking of dessert we were expecting a homemade dessert, in reality they brought us panettone and pandoro, which for goodness sake also fit but bring 2 slices of pandore and 2 slices of panettone bought at the supermarket for 16 people (dividing it only in pieces) is neither respectful nor professional. To make sure we didn't miss out on anything, the bitters were served in small glasses (the 2cm high ones) and the coffee was burnt. All this also paid an exorbitant amount per person between 40 and 50 per head. The only thing I regret is not having taken photos to prove it all, as it was a day of meeting with the family I didn't think I had to write a review, in the end I decided to do it because something like this can't fail to be commented on. The thing that hurt me the most was the fact that the (overpaid) lunch was offered to the whole family by my grandparents as a Christmas present.

18/09/2024: Dishonest price for the quality and quantity of food, piadina really the size of a ream and without condiments (2 slices of raw meat and 2 salad leaves and cold), flavorless "burger food" sandwich and poor quality hamburger. Waitress who takes customers' names on orders and doesn't even remember who the drinks or food go to. Very bad.

18/09/2024: Eravamo in visita a Matera e ci siamo fermati per una veloce pausa pranzo. Abbiamo preso le puccie ed erano veramente buonissime. Prezzo nella norma.

25/08/2024: Vi havde fået anbefalet restauranten, og den skuffede bestemt ikke. Tasting menuen smagte fantastisk, og portioner var store. Vores tjener Dino var yderst høflig og hjælpsom. Vi kan også varmt anbefale stedet.

23/08/2024: Servizio e ambiente impeccabili. Un'ottima menù e scelta dei vini. Entree, pane della casa con degustazione si olio locale, un fantastico peperone crusco. 2 antipasti e 2 secondi veramente azzeccati per gusto e accostamenti. Un dolcetto alle mandorle fatto in casa veramente ottimo. Caffè ottimo. Un ristorante (e albergo) da provare.

13/09/2024: Good place for an informal lunch stop, what we ate, two sandwiches filled with typical local products, as good as the beer. The only note I would like to make is to correct the menu since the piadina is not "Ferrarese" but from Romagna!!!... I am specific because we Ferrarese have many good local products and the piadina can also be found here but it is not a Our typical product was born in Romagna, that is, between Riccione and Ravenna. What's right is right, honor to the Romagna piadina, word of Emilian doc!!!!

10/12/2024: ristorante sempre pieno la domenica a pranzo e forse questo è il suo liite...i piatti sono buoni ma manca sempre qualcosa x renderli eccellenti...servizio veloce ma non attentissimo..prezzi in linea con la zona e le pietanze degustate
