And honestly, anyone who makes good carbonara knows how to cook, period.
Highly recommended.
18/12/2025: I advise groups if you book and someone gets sick or dies, leave the money with someone because these guys charge even if it happened accidentally...

25/10/2025: I'm giving it a 1 because you can't give a 0 (or in our case, even less).
I can't rate either the food or the drinks because, due to the absolutely rude, aggressive, unpleasant, and completely unprofessional behavior (and completely gratuitous), we left, avoiding (most likely what would have happened) the terrible food and drinks. Incidentally, the name of the place is now Maracuja. One wonders how places like this, run like this, manage to stay open. We later discovered they have a terrible reputation throughout Matera. Perhaps that's why they changed the name to Maracuja, so that people looking for reviews wouldn't find them. Stay away, and any other place in Matera will be better off.
22/10/2025: 8 euros for a couple of drinks and then a fight to use the toilets - not very impressed

07/09/2025: Terrible food of low quality, unfriendly staff, I came home with a strong stomach pain, Saturday evening ruined, I do not recommend it if you are looking for good sushi, never again

21/08/2025: I've eaten there on vacation over the years, off and on. Unfortunately, the quality and overall experience have significantly declined. The hamburger is a classic, made with bagged supermarket bread. The atmosphere is chaotic even when there aren't many people. There's music in this restaurant, as well as in the beach bar—a whole host of different genres, in short. Lastly, this year I was surprised by the €1 service charge. The restaurant only offers takeout, there's no table service. I honestly don't understand why they charge this much now. Would I recommend it? Not unless you're really sure what to eat, but I'm sorry it's gotten so bad.
19/08/2025: Extremely salty, radioactive kebab. Piadina from Eurospin, ingredients from two or three years ago, practically the NAS's nightmare.
