17/10/2025: The owner is very kind, polite, and precise. The pizza has a very light dough, so you can finish it without feeling overwhelmed. 😋 I didn't give it five stars only because, despite there being only a few other people sitting besides us, we waited almost half an hour for our two pizzas.

17/08/2025: On a trip to Troina, we decided to have a pizza 🍕 at this restaurant/pizzeria called L'Orchidea!
I felt like I was back in the '80s, with large, cold rooms and dated furnishings (tables, chairs, and tablecloths). It's clean, with a bar at the entrance and very young, obviously inexperienced staff. And now the pizza! Nothing special, but classic, perhaps a little toasty, but everything was cooked thoroughly (even too well), but for Ferragosto (August 15th), it's a good idea. Honestly, I'll try other pizzerias in the area!
26/06/2025: We were seated immediately and were able to order quickly, which initially made a good impression. Unfortunately, the food didn't arrive at the same time – some at the table had to wait over 45 minutes. It seemed as if we had simply been forgotten. It's a shame, because the start was promising, but the service significantly dampened the overall experience.

10/08/2025: Siamo capitati da Dulcis In Fundo quasi per caso, con l’idea di fermarci giusto per un aperitivo… e invece, complice l’atmosfera, la splendida vista sui Sassi di Matera e l’accoglienza impeccabile, siamo rimasti anche per cena. È stata una scelta vincente!
Il locale ha un fascino unico: la terrazza affacciata sui Sassi è suggestiva e regala un panorama che da solo vale la visita. Il cibo ottimo, piatti curati, saporiti e porzioni giuste; i prezzi onesti e assolutamente in linea con la qualità.
Un grazie speciale a Roland, il nostro cameriere: gentile, simpatico e alla mano, ci ha fatto sentire come a casa fin dal primo momento, trasformando una cena in un’esperienza tra amici.
Torneremo sicuramente.
17/07/2025: Llegamos a este restaurante mientras bajaba del Duomo. La ubicación es perfecta para esperar las luces nocturnas encendidas en el corazón de Matera. La comida es muy agradable. El servicio Inglés lo ha facilitado mucho. A mi hijo le encantaba la pasta. Toda la experiencia es inolvidable.

01/11/2025: We found a piece of French fry in the capricciosa, and well, that can happen... But then comes the worst. A hair on the other pizza (if you're not careful, the one with mushrooms). I don't know what to say!

29/09/2025: Good pizza, even the gluten-free one gets better every time we come! It's a shame about the seating, it's quite cramped...there were eight of us on two benches, we couldn't even cut the pizza! Overall, it's okay!

29/11/2025: The food at Gnamm is definitely its strong point: tasty and well-prepared dishes, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to offer advice and make customers feel comfortable. However, the service leaves much to be desired, with long wait times and little attention to detail. The ambiance is its real Achilles heel: the place appears neglected, with dirty and poorly maintained tables and unpleasant odors like smoke, which detract from the overall experience. A good place to eat, but cleanliness and order could be improved.
02/11/2025: The food at this bakery is truly delicious; you can tell it's homemade with genuine ingredients, and the flavor is reminiscent of old recipes. The prices are more than fair; in fact, I found them even more affordable than last time. However, the service leaves much to be desired: there's virtually no customer service, and the atmosphere is neglected, with tables and chairs often dirty and damaged. Furthermore, the smell of smoke that wafts through as soon as you enter is truly bothersome and makes it difficult to enjoy the food. I strongly recommend taking out only; I wouldn't recommend stopping to eat there.

26/08/2025: The place is nice, but the food and menu selection are truly meager, at least for appetizers, first courses, and second courses. There are plenty of pizzas and they look good. We ordered fettuccine with mushrooms and provola, which tasted like oil and provola, but the mushrooms weren't there. The pasta with cod, on the other hand, isn't bad. I also recommend removing the images of giallo zafferano from the menu.

Rifugio "Acqua del Faggio"

03/11/2025: A pleasant discovery! We had lunch here after visiting the San Fele Waterfalls. The chalet is only 15 minutes away, and the road is new and easily accessible by car or motorbike.
The place is enchanting, nestled in the woods. The interior is welcoming and clean, with a lovely fireplace. Everything was spotless.
The staff was extremely kind, friendly, yet discreet.
The food was excellent: simple but well-prepared dishes, with generous but not excessive portions.
