18/03/2025: Fresh and excellent food. Quite welcoming environment. The staff was rude, hasty and not at all kind. I don't care what country you come from, if you work with the public in Italy kindness is a must and it's not the first time that foreign waiters, especially Pakistani ones, are deeply rude to women. I let it slide, next time no. Learn manners and civility.

23/04/2025: Dopo una gita al Parco Archeologico di Metaponto abbiamo cercato invano (a Metaponto) un posto dove mettere qualcosa sotto i denti, ma era tutto chiuso eccezion fatta per qualche bar. Valutando la nostra posizione il navigatore ci ha guidato fino in centro a Bernalda, piccolo borgo sospeso tra le colline e il mare ove in pieno centro ci siamo imbattuti nella Trattoria da Fifina, storico locale da oltre 70 anni. Qui la signora Rita, proprietaria e cuoca, porta avanti la tradizione familiare culinaria e locale. Piatti semplici ma gustosi, preparati con cura, ben presentati e con giuste porzioni. La signora Rita è solita decantare il proprio menù a voce (nessun menù cartaceo era presente), spaziando dalla carne al pesce utilizzando i prodotti del territorio in base alle stagioni. Prezzi ragionevoli, servizio veloce e cortese.

31/05/2025: An experience not to be repeated. Those who decide to eat in this area look for traditional dishes and not always modify and distort them, as in this case, is a positive thing. Cold and impersonal environment out of place for the place. High prices for the area and the food. In response to the restaurant owner's note I add: You are right, we did not inform ourselves better, deceived by the name of your restaurant and by the reviews that were perhaps manipulated. Then if you can understand what you read I said that in my opinion, which I believe I can express freely, it would be better to focus on tradition instead of pretending to be a fake starred restaurant. I add that I do not have a restaurant but I have been going to one for a lifetime, perhaps you should leave yours and go to others. On the fact that you ate what you ordered, I would like to inform you that we had been traveling since 7 in the morning and after about 300 km on a motorbike to be repeated for the return and others on foot, we were feeling hungry and given the time and the place that did not allow for alternatives, we stayed. 13/08/2024: We celebrated our wedding on August 10, 2024.... the food was excellent, the service from the guys was impeccable, the owners were uniquely kind and helpful... truly the top... thank you thank you thank you to all the staff and in particular to Giuseppe, his wife Anna, and his son Luca who pampered us for the whole day to make sure everything went well....Manuel & Lorena...💍💝🫂

12/05/2025: I have 400 reviews. I'm precise and the restaurant is yours. Definitely not. To save part of the starter, however a little high in price. Frying made with oil? on salad. Horrible! Putting it on frying paper at least removed the smell. Spaghetti with mussels, with butter sauce. Unlikely....

04/05/2025: We stopped for lunch while passing through. They brought us the menu but there was nothing available. Cold appetizer only tasted of vinegar. The first ones completely tasteless. Incomplete second courses. When asked if everything was ok, I expressed my negative opinion. In my opinion, the owner was already aware, so much so that he voluntarily applied a discount (absolutely not requested!). At the time of payment, the POS was not working, we had to make a collection to be able to pay! Not Recommended!

04/05/2025: I got the lasagna with only tomato and mozzarella, the meat sauce wasn't there anyway, €5 per portion I can't expect anything, served with containers all dirty with sauce. we thought we'd make up for it with the white beef meatballs full of very heavy oil, it took us 2 days to digest. the only good thing was the focaccia at a fair price. it's a shame for the context where the place is located, we expected a little more.

04/01/2025: Di sabato decidiamo di passare x Tolve, non è la prima volta che prenotiamo presso questo ristorante. Li conosco dagli anni '90, con il passere degli anni, pizzeria, ristorante, hotel. Sono cresciuti, titolari educati, ambienti puliti, tempi di attesa giusti, prezzi nella norma. Niente di già pronto, bisogna avere la pazienza di aspettare, ma poi è un trionfo di sapori. Oggi lagane con funghi porcini e cacio cavallo, una bistecca di vitello ben cotta, patatine. Considera questa struttura per qualsiasi evento, usano il pos.

31/03/2025: Family run restaurant, the dishes are excellent as are the service and the environment dated and reflects the old trattorias where you play cards and watch matches. The managers are accommodating and kind. For companies, the menu can be agreed a few days in advance and the portions are good. It's open late. They make both meat and fish and of good quality, the price is excellent. Recommended to everyone.

30/12/2024: I ate for lunch yesterday. The starter of really excellent cold cuts... you could feel that they were of quality, and the second course, cod in salad, delicate and very tasty. The place is a little dated, but the welcome of the staff (family condition) and the quality of the products make this place a good alternative if you want to eat and drink well in an informal way. I will definitely come back.
