18/10/2024: We took advantage of the fish day and ate very well, fresh and excellent quality fish. The place is not clearly visible from the street and the interior certainly needs to be refreshed. But the quality of the food and the service is excellent.

My friend and I stopped attracted by the valid alternative to the usual Matera menu. The cuisine is meticulous in detail and surprisingly tasty, the owners delight you both with their affable ways and with their innovative culinary proposals. Don't miss the opportunity to be won over by the vast and interesting cellar that the restaurant offers; if you are a wine lover, prepare yourself for an unforgettable journey. Wonderful experience, unmissable for those who visit Matera or, even, for locals who ignore this intimate and romantic gem.

29/12/2024: Finally a place with good flavors. I travel a lot and it's a guarantee. You are welcomed by two beautiful, kind and friendly girls plus another very smiling behind the scenes. Excellent food from the fried calzone with tomato, mozzarella and ham, to the coffee. Highly recommended. Add a little more daylight (when there is any) even if their smiles light up great. Go there.

15/09/2024: Very good desserts. The delicious one with the cherry on top, in the area between Potenza and Villa d'Agri, the BEST EVER. It's a dessert that I love so every occasion I get I take it. And I absolutely give my star to the Dolce Idea pastry shop. I'm going back just to eat that dessert.

31/07/2024: Central bakery in Policoro very interesting offering of pizzas and focaccias and in any case everything savory while I found the sweet part a little less well-stocked. In my opinion, a Southern Italian bakery should be a little more equipped with the sweet part. However, really excellent products and recommended both sweet and savory Very good bread that keeps well

10/11/2024: I've already been there other times but the quality of the food didn't seem the same to me. The Fiorentina was more of a steak, overcooked and dry. The staff were certainly friendly but we had to request the starter and potatoes twice because not all the people at the table had been served. Disappointing compared to previous times.

We booked for 4 adults and two children, upon our arrival (13.10) we found a cold environment (the heating was never turned on for the entire duration of lunch, unacceptable!) and not very welcoming. Before ordering we ask for still water, at the table they bring us an already open glass bottle with tap water, CHLORINE...pure chlorine, we feel forced to ask for a bottle of sparkling water!!! Poor starter, everything very arranged and approximate, the first course was decent, absolutely NO meat! I'm sorry to say it but we couldn't wait to GO!!!!

08/09/2024: Tra i paesaggi e scorci di una storia che proviene da lontano, c'è Il ristorante "Palazzo dei Poeti". Veramente ben curato e super accogliente. Servizio eccellente da parte di Paolo, il proprietario, gentilissimo e super preparato. Cortese nei modi e disponibile. Tutto quello che è descritto nel menú è veramente ottimo!! Un consiglio: Andate! Ci ritorneremo davvero per tutto ciò che ci è stato offerto dalla cordialità, ospitalità alla… bontà dei cibi!

22/08/2024: Ho cenato con alcuni amici alcuni giorni fa. Ottimo ristorante ed affascinante location nella vecchia Tursi, nel quartiere della Rabatana. Buonissima la cena allietata dalle poesie dí Albino Pierro e di Antonio Popia. Il ristorante è anche attento alle intolleranze. Una bellissima esperienza, consigliatissima!

06/11/2024: And having thought that the Italians had abandoned pizza, I realized here that I was wrong, here they have excellent pizza, they even have American Italian sausage (Yes indeed it may be that it is the opposite) the warm and welcoming service for an Amerloc who doesn't know a word of Italian

02/01/2025: Realtà sorprendente. Vito e Gabriele, rispettivamente chef e sommelier, sono due fratelli che hanno nel dna la cucina e la cultura dell’ospitalità, preziosa eredità di famiglia. Tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli. Piatti della tradizione rivisitati con innovazione e raffinatezza. Cantina sbalorditiva: migliaia di etichette in una location dedicata che lascia a bocca aperta. Allego una brevissima rassegna fotografica che purtroppo rende solo in minima parte quello che si può trovare e l’esperienza che si può vivere a La Villa.

31/12/2024: Io credo che nella zona sia il ristorante più indicato per una cena importante. Il cibo è delizioso e l’ambiente è ben curato. C’è molta cura nei dettagli ed hanno una cantina bellissima.

16/08/2024: I didn't know this restaurant as I didn't live in Rionero. I had lunch on August 15th entirely based on fish. The food, the environment and the staff were truly excellent. If you happen to be in these parts, I recommend it as to those who live in Rionero
