It's a nice "Posticino", as the name suggests, a small trattoria on Via Isca del Pioppo behind Gallitello. If you don't know it or go there on purpose, you'll hardly discover it by chance, but once you discover it, it's a great discovery! I only ate the pizza for the moment (even though there were several things on the menu that appealed to me) and it was good. Served on a wooden cutting board instead of on a plate, something different from usual, which I must say I liked. The service is fast, the staff very kind. The place is quite small, perhaps 40/50 seats, rustic, a classic Lucanian trattoria, where the focus is mainly on the food rather than the environment. I'll be back to try the cuisine. I recommend it 👍

Quando la qualità sposa la tradizione e la gentilezza si ha un connubio di piacere servito con estrema professionalità da papà e figlio in un ristorantino che conta circa 40 coperti, stile classico dove si può godere di pasti semplici ma al contempo speciali. Continuate così!

12/02/2024: We came here on a very dark day with rain so we couldn't enjoy the exteriors which are beautiful but we had lunch in an internal room that wasn't particularly beautiful. Yet we chose it precisely to allow our son to see the animals, as well as the local food... we were unlucky. The cold cuts and dairy products they produce were the best part. Starters and pasta a little behind in salt. The slice arrived slightly cold while the sausage was very tasty. I appreciated the flavor of the vegetables which reminded me of childhood: you can feel that it is genuine stuff. Bread, wine and oil not of their production... it's the least quality stuff. The sweets and bitters are good, always produced by them. The owner is very kind. Advised
