20/08/2025: A truly lovely place with friendly and welcoming staff. My wife and I were there for three nights and had the pleasure of experiencing three different musical evenings, all united by the fun everyone had. The cocktails and beers were good, with a wide selection, but the team, Francesco in particular, made the difference. See you next time and we'll also try the food, since we always arrived after dinner. Thanks for your hospitality.

08/12/2025: The space is divided into several small rooms. The color of the walls matches the color of the placemats, and the table setting is simple. The bread was good, arriving freshly warm and available in two varieties. There was also whole-grain bread in addition to the plain bread. We ordered a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, and two first courses were well-described on the menu, each one highlighting the ingredients. Olive oil was used wisely, carefully measured in the dishes, even in the second course of sausage with turnips. Local sausage is traditionally fatty and delicious, but that fat was not noticeable on the plate. The desserts are all freshly assembled on the plate. The bases were delicious, with chocolate biscuits, milk and vanilla cream, and chestnuts, and the sugar was well-measured. We also appreciated the delicious crumble, milk and vanilla cream, and crusco pepper flakes. The mastery in the kitchen is evident, as is Valerio's extensive knowledge of wines and products, and Antonella's attentive service and courtesy. A team of motivated and well-prepared young people, with a broad scope!

21/09/2025: A lovely restaurant right on the Roseto Capo Spulico seafront. The seafood is exquisite, both the first and second courses. The fried seafood and grilled octopus on a bed of potatoes are especially noteworthy. We'll be back, as we love the Ionian coast of Calabria.

26/11/2025: We visited the Lounge Café for breakfast, having been directed there by the hotel. It's a classic, typically Italian breakfast—simple, fresh, and delicious. It's not a culinary revelation or an otherworldly experience, but overall it's decent and enjoyable. The place serves its purpose: a quick, light breakfast, good coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for starting the day, though without the "wow" factor.

17/11/2025: Sushi Stone restaurant in Matera remains an excellent choice for sushi lovers. The quality of the ingredients is truly remarkable: fresh fish, well-balanced flavors, and evident attention to detail in the presentation of each dish. Each course arrives at the table as a small creation, enhanced by elegant plating and a level of attention that certainly deserves recognition. However, despite the overall positive dining experience, a mix-up between the dining room and kitchen impacted the final rating. Two orders were listed, according to the system, as one already delivered and the other still being prepared, when in reality they had never arrived at the table. This resulted in a fairly long wait for the missing dishes. Had it not been for this misunderstanding—which could have been resolved with better internal coordination—the restaurant would undoubtedly have deserved a full five-star rating. It remains a recommended restaurant, especially for those seeking quality, freshness, and meticulously prepared sushi.

11/12/2025: We stumbled upon Piaceri dell’Arrosto on the recommendation of locals. The location is immersed in nature, amidst the chirping of birds and the surrounding trees. The staff is courteous and friendly, not to mention the dishes, plentiful and excellent. I don't eat meat, but, despite the name, they have several vegetarian options, from appetizers to first courses. I'll definitely be back!

17/08/2025: €15 for two scoops of supermarket ice cream. €3 of which is for service. If putting tablecloths on a table brought in €3, I'd be rich!! Answer: Specialty or not, you don't charge €15 for ice cream.
