08/03/2026: Last night I visited this grill restaurant for the first time, and the experience was overall very pleasant. The meat was good quality, well-cooked, and the atmosphere was informal, perfect for a quiet evening with friends. The service was friendly and helpful. Quick to serve! A vast selection of bombette, with many flavors and delicious combinations; the desserts were also excellent! One aspect I particularly appreciated was the attention to those with specific dietary needs: since I'm celiac, they carefully prepared my meat separately to avoid cross-contamination, demonstrating sensitivity and professionalism. A place I'll gladly return to. Prices are average.

19/09/2025: Certainly not for everyone, both in terms of menu choices and prices. Dishes are designed with great imagination and skill. Beyond the classic cuts of meat, there are many specialty bombette, stracceti, and so on...the highlight is the many vegetables prepared in truly unique ways, like a simple whole lettuce, grilled but with Bloody Mary sauce poured right at the table...in short, a must-try.... Only open in the summer in Salento, but with a winter version in Milan, called LOSKO. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly... Perhaps we expected more from the desserts, which didn't have much character...

30/08/2025: I'll start by saying that the food was good, but it's a shame about the rest. We arrived and they couldn't find our reservation. We asked for side dishes for our meat (we specifically requested them as side dishes, not appetizers, when the waiter specifically asked), but they arrived as appetizers. The meat from the table arrived mixed up, and when I asked the waiter, who didn't speak Italian, in English, for clarification since I had ordered specific items due to food intolerances, he replied that he didn't know what was in the dishes and couldn't answer, and then left. Finally, the bill was incorrect, and after checking it at the cashier, it turned out that an extra €60 had been added.

15/02/2026: Truly excellent lunch! The meat was top-quality, tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The first courses were generous and tasty, prepared with fresh ingredients. Excellent value, with generous portions and absolutely fair prices. The staff was attentive, friendly, and polite, always available without being intrusive. A truly positive experience, we'll definitely be back!

08/03/2026: The location is beautiful, but the food isn't so much. We ordered a raw seafood platter that included shrimp and other seafood, but we only received two oysters and about 15 clams: it wasn't fresh (which made us sick). The pasta dishes are very generous. One waiter in particular (over 50), despite our repeated calls, pretended not to hear us, and even took away a plate full of octopus that we still had to eat without asking. The service is truly terrible, as only one person takes orders for all the tables, making it difficult to order anything every time, or at least you have to wait a long time for the waiters to communicate. It's a real shame because the place is wonderful and almost all the waiters are very kind...

07/12/2025: Definitely worth coming back for! Excellent meat and side dishes. They also have a wide selection of gluten-free options. The staff is friendly and very fast, and the service is excellent.

16/11/2025: On what culinary basis is this place given a 5-star rating? It's a house set up as a "restaurant" with absolutely no staff. The meat is raw and nauseating. Extremely high prices that don't reflect the terrible experience we had. Long waits and constantly incorrect dishes. €29 for a smelly steak. Please open this place only when you have an idea of ​​what you're going to put on people's plates and when there is someone who knows how to serve it all.

18/02/2026: Extremely friendly staff, a varied menu, interesting and delicious dishes, and fair prices. A nice alternative for those wanting to visit Germany (and beyond) without flying! I recommend trying the jumbo plates and desserts. Approved (especially with TheFork promotions)!

12/02/2026: Excellent pub, clean atmosphere. Typical pub fare, but also offers a variety of options. The pork shank is excellent. Reservations are recommended. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Suitable for any occasion, from casual dinners to events. The restaurant is located in a modern building, and the staff is friendly and ready to accommodate every need.

02/03/2026: I would have given a few more stars if it weren't for the poorly trained staff, in the sense that: they bring you the other dishes without removing the dirty plates, the food is okay but the chef needs to make peace with the salt, we kindly asked for the bill and without opening our mouths they presented it to us without even greeting or asking how the meal went.... it seems like they are doing you a favor by sitting at the table... never again... shameful

01/02/2026: Friends' recommendations are often highly subjective. They had "touted" this steakhouse as if it were the best in the world. Honestly, it was nothing special. We arrived, they sat us down at our table, ignoring us for almost half an hour, while people who had arrived after us were being served, so much so that I had to go to the waiter myself to get even a bottle of water. The meat was average, nothing extraordinary like the descriptions of those who recommended it to me. The waiters I would definitely not give an Oscar for friendliness to, and the prices, even those, were not exceptional. An experience not to be repeated.

24/08/2025: A really good place to eat meat, the meat is perfectly cooked, and the staff—I think a husband and wife—are very nice and welcoming, accommodating to any request. The prices are good for the quality of the products, and even lower than the Martina Franca average. We'll definitely be back.

17/08/2025: We found this very good place by chance, really by chance, we had dinner there, my wife and I, we ordered bombette, two different flavours, plus sausage and straccetti, everything spectacular, really excellent quality, in the short wait without having to ask, they brought us excellent olives and taralli, this price was also really fair for the quality and kindness

Excellent meat and a wide selection of "bombette" (fried meatballs). They're a bit slow, though, and I didn't appreciate the unauthorized people coming in and out of the counter. I wasn't sure if they were relatives or friends.

26/01/2026: I'm a regular at this restaurant located in the historic center of Martina Franca, in the town's central and oldest square. This restaurant/pizzeria, with both indoor and outdoor dining, specializes in traditional Martina Franca meat cuisine. Bombette, chicken livers, gnummarielli, and exquisite veal steaks are of the highest quality. The animals, slaughtered in-house to create these fantastic steaks, are Limousin breed, as the owner specified. Therefore, the aging times are rigorous and perfect. The ovens used to cook the meat in Martina Franca are unique: the meat is skewered on long skewers, which are positioned near the embers at an angle. This allows the rendered fat to slide off the skewers without dripping, making the meat very flavorful and avoiding the excess smoke that normally occurs when the fat drips onto the embers below, horizontally, as is usual in traditional ovens. It goes without saying that this is my favorite restaurant, not only because I've known the owner personally for over 30 years, but also because the food is delicious! The pizza, the baked potatoes cooked in ash, the typical cured meats and cheeses, and the traditional Martina Franca bread (usually firm and slightly airy) make this restaurant excellent. Try it and believe it. The prices are below average. Thank you for everything and for your innate kindness!

08/03/2026: "That Beauty That Doesn't Dance" Driven by curiosity, we booked a table for eight for lunch. I should start by saying that from inside, even though we wanted to sit as close to the window as possible, you can't see anything except the flower boxes. However, if I go to a seaside restaurant, especially one near the port, it's because I want to look at the sea and not at the "Chinese-style hanging plastic flowers" or the concrete of the overly tall outdoor flower boxes. Nothing about this place makes you feel like you're at the seaside. We manage to sit down and they immediately bring us a box for tarallini, which is quite useless, and mine was all greasy, so I thought it had already been used. The menu is long and boring. The head waiter makes one mistake after another when ordering, so some people get appetizers, some get fried fish, and some even get spaghetti with clams and peppered mussels. The fish isn't bad, but as many have written, it lacks a strong flavor. Poor value for money! Skip the sorbet. It's terrible! After all this you also have to pay for parking at the port.

20/02/2026: I booked for lunch at this restaurant, but it would have been much better if I had chosen to go elsewhere... We ordered a PEPPERED MUSSELS, which I absolutely would not have expected from a restaurant of this kind. It shows a certain level of professionalism. In practice... despite the well-priced menu. They served us miserable, almost empty plates of undercooked mussels, most of them small and dark, and we couldn't even eat them due to how little they had been cooked, because they were still attached to their shells. However, aside from that, the most disappointing thing was the ARROGANCE, and the miserable professionalism of the owner! Because I complained about what happened, but she did nothing but not listen, and she almost told me to go to hell, with her unprofessional attitude, saying that the other customers hadn't complained about the same things... 🤦🏻‍♂️ anyway, I just wanted to make the owner understand that she's so insane... the people in the same room who didn't complain only did so out of personal privacy. And not because the mussels were good.......
