El Cohiba 59 In Pulsano

16/03/2024: We really had very high expectations when we decided to come and eat in this historic restaurant. We were attracted by the name and we expected to go to a historic place where we ate typical food cooked like in the past. We were extremely disappointed. A place that seems to have remained in the 80s both in the room and above all in the menu. We opted for a mixed starter which had both land and sea dishes. Sufficient starter, with some fish dishes that seemed to be packaged. Presentation in the shells not up to date and flavors not so good. We continued with a first course each, trofie with sausage and mushrooms and orecchiette with meatballs. Sufficient flavor here too, we didn't find the flavors we expected to find. Still generous portions and average prices, but we expected to find more quality and above all more passion.

10/02/2024: Historic trattoria in Grottaglie, unfortunately I only had the opportunity to eat one first course: orecchiette with turnip tops and fried breadcrumbs (I went back twice for this first course). As soon as possible a complete meal is a must! 😀
