06/08/2025: A great discovery. You can choose your meat and watch it cook in front of you. The servers are active and efficient. The meat is very good quality! I recommend it! And good value for money, not too expensive.
04/08/2025: A pleasant dinner: we tried several different versions of bombette, both classic and revisited. Some surprised us, others less so, but overall we were satisfied. The outdoor atmosphere was very pleasant, with tables in the square and the lights creating a beautiful setting. Prices were reasonable. The staff were helpful. The only issue to note: the bathrooms were not fully usable, with a door that wouldn't close and no sign indicating otherwise. Nothing serious, but a little more attention would improve the experience. Overall, a good stop for a casual evening in Brindisi.

15/07/2025: On our host's recommendation, we went to this lovely, well-stocked butcher's shop where you choose what you want directly from the counter and are shortly thereafter served directly to your table. The Bombette and zander are truly excellent, and the staff are attentive and friendly. A must-see if you're passing through Gioia del Colle.

31/07/2025: If I could, I'd give it 10 stars and recommend all restaurateurs to take a leaf out of the book of what I presume to be the owner of this steakhouse. He welcomed us and looked after us throughout our dinner, smiling, always available, truly honest, and capable of optimizing the customer experience in every way. Indeed, since my glass of red wine was served cold (and I don't like cold red wine), simply because I commented to him (without complaining) about the now widespread practice of keeping red wine in the refrigerator, he offered me a second glass at room temperature. This just goes to show you the kind of person we're talking about. Otherwise, excellent food, fair price, and quick service.
30/07/2025: An impressive selection of meat, including the "Chianina" a meat that I love, a bit like Charolais, there are 4 types of meat, served in various presentations, beef ribs (Fiorentina) minimum 750g, rib steak minimum 250g, and also the (Tagliata) I had peppers in sauce just delicious. There are also tasting plates for two people, a treat.

We ate exceptional seafood, from calamari to tuna; every dish was perfect. But what struck us most was Chef Regina's passion and mastery. The fries... incredible. Even when you're full, you try one and immediately know they're special. Crispy, flavorful, it's as if Regina always uses fresh oil. You can taste the quality, you can taste the love. The tuna carpaccio was another masterpiece: incredibly fresh, delicate, impeccably served. Every dish is meticulously prepared and meticulously crafted. Chef Regina, wow. A true artist. Her cuisine is sincere, refined, and profoundly authentic. And a huge compliment also to the manager Federico, always present, attentive, and welcoming. You can tell the entire team works with passion and harmony. A hidden gem we recommend to everyone and will definitely return to!
01/08/2025: Eleven years ago, I sat at a table in this very restaurant. Today, the soul of the place is intact. You can feel it the moment you walk in: no gimmicks, no pretense. Just people who care about food and the people they’re feeding. Dinner was a kind of quiet sitting with the sister of the owner. The pittule came first: golden, airy, octopus, and teasing you that they are not playing around. And then the tuna carpaccio….no words….so fresh. Course after course, I was surprised, not by flashy techniques, but by how deeply good it all was. It was food that made you feel something. This wasn’t just a meal. It was memory, nostalgia, generosity. A reminder that some places don’t fade. Some places get it right and keep getting it right. If I could give advice to La Regina: Don’t change a thing.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by an enchanting atmosphere: the tables, set in the charming little street adjacent to the ancient village, created an idyllic setting for a summer dinner under the stars. Despite the restaurant being full, the atmosphere remained pleasantly quiet and serene, allowing us to fully enjoy the evening. The rustic decor blends perfectly with the setting, adding a touch of authenticity. The culinary journey began with a selection of traditional appetizers that left us speechless. 02/08/2025: We had dinner with friends who weren't local. We made reservations blindly since we're regulars at the grill, but I have to be honest, we really made a terrible impression! The zampina wasn't ordered because it didn't look right—it wasn't the right color—a hair was found in a dish that was replaced without even an "excuse me" (it can happen, but even an "excuse me" can soften the blow), the wait staff was disorganized and arrogant, especially the lady in charge. Then the baked onion... two steps from Acquaviva and they offer white onion? A piece of advice: tourists are just passing through; other people, if treated properly, come back!

08/08/2025: De la rue le restaurant ne paye pas de mine mais une fois dans le jardin on découvre un endroit charmant . Vous pouvez consulter le menu en français et le chef de la salle parle très bien français . Le personnel est charmant . La cuisine est typique de la région faite avec de très bon produits. Il n'y a pratiquement que des locaux aux tables se qui est un signe de bonne cuisine. Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans un endroit charmant et accompagné par un personnel sympathique.

28/07/2025: Mi sono trovato in occasione della festa di San Francesco Saverio e suoni DIVini a cenare presso questo ristorante. Devo dire di essermi trovato molto bene soprattutto la carne visto che è anche macelleris. Ottimi i primi e i secondi di carne, accompagnati da un buon vino rosso.

15/08/2025: Let me start by saying we had dinner on August 6th, when Cisternino was very busy. I imagine and hope the timing isn't what we've experienced. We arrived at 8:30 PM, having been told over the phone that they didn't accept reservations. We waited in line to choose our meat at the counter until 9:30 PM. The first courses arrived at 10:15 PM. The sausage was good, especially the spicy one, and the bombette: unfortunately, the first ones weren't fully cooked. The capocollo was too tough. The meat rolls, however, were excellent. So, we'll try them again at a less crowded time of year.
15/08/2025: In a nutshell: it's worth the long line you have to stand outside. Top quality, masterful organization, impeccable selection of products, affordable prices. I highly recommend it to everyone. P.S.: I'd only stop the duo who walks between the tables with a tambourine.

02/07/2025: Terrible mix and match, nothing special. Our experience at the beginning of June was totally negative, reading the reviews we expected great things, they even talk about difficulty in finding a flaw and excellence in the meat but we, 4, struggled to find a quality. The excellence in catering and meat are quite different. Going in order MENU: the menu is on QR code and so far nothing strange but it is necessary to download the restaurant app to be able to view it, a bizarre choice in 2025 if we consider memory space on phones or data consumption at which point we ask for a paper copy and they bring us a tablet with photos of the dishes that unfortunately reminds us of AYCE sushi restaurants and so far they are choices, questionable, but choices. ORDER: The order is taken from memory by the waiter who starts off in fourth gear trying to direct the table's ordering on large cuts (and obviously €€€) talking about a central sharing policy of the dishes which however I don't think is specified elsewhere, the waiter returns "in the ranks" only after having pointed out to him that if the menu includes an entrecote as a single portion then we are entitled to also order individual dishes and cuts of meat. We order an appetizer to share, 3 meat dishes (one of which is large to be divided between 2) and two side dishes. Spoiler: the appetizer will never arrive, one of the two side dishes is wrong being baked potatoes and not fried. mistakes can happen but the worst part was seeing the waiter's victim attitude after having pointed out the various mistakes, mistakes that he had well understood he had made but without approaching the table to apologize (after all we only waited for an appetizer for 40 minutes and understood it would not arrive only after seeing the meat arrive) FOOD: fortunately I have seen several restaurants of various types, ranges and genres and I can say that we did not detect quality or "excellent" meat at all, if we had not put tasty oil on top of the meat the flavor would have been absolutely mediocre and insignificant, unjustified compared to the prices offered. SERVICE: The impression is that it's all a "I would like to but I can't", that is, I would like to be a high-level restaurant (price, quality and service) but the preparation is lacking and the execution is disastrous, for example the expensive cover charge (5€ if I remember correctly) and then they set the glass with the high-end restaurant glove (I swear it is done once you are seated!) but then the concept is "steak house" with the wooden table not set so the confusion is evident in the concept and execution. The cloth napkin is then inexplicably changed at the end of the meal asking to put it in a wooden tray as an offertory and then provided with another where an essence is sprayed that is not better presented. Some sweet and crunchy tastings are brought on a trolley (...) and presented in a solemn way while above our table a monitor shows a closed circuit camera that frames the kitchens and in particular the grill where the chosen cuts are cooked. To date the mix of these choices is still not clear to me nor unfortunately does it give the desired effect to customers. The feeling is that the identity of this steakhouse is not clear even to those who studied and created it. The general enthusiasm of the reviews remains inexplicable to me, either it is not clear among the customers what is an acceptable level of catering and meat quality or only positive reviews are left. I do not recommend nor would I return.

08/07/2025: We dined at this lovely restaurant, enticed by the positive reviews, and our expectations were quite high. The atmosphere is truly welcoming, and the waitress was very kind and cheerful. Out of curiosity, we ordered the famous meat rolls: Popcorn, Truffle, and Mortadella. I must admit, each roll costs €8-9 for four small pieces (which is fine), but we weren't expecting such tiny pieces. Plus, the horsemeat rolls were almost tasteless...perhaps the flavor of the toppings was overwhelming. The fried polenta with stracciatella was the same: tiny pieces and a simple flavor for the price. To follow, we ordered two summer risottos with beef tartare, lime, and fried breadcrumbs, and I must admit, it was a lovely dish, fresh and substantial, but the lime overpowered the flavor of the meat (alas). What most pleasantly surprised us were the diaphragm and the steak (from Germany): EXQUISITE! The desserts were unusual, but not exceptional for my taste. A great experience. We were curious to try this place, but in my opinion the prices are excessive for the quantity. Sometimes the gourmet dishes are spectacular but don't satisfy the palate as expected (and I try plenty of meat restaurants). Well done, though, for your ability to distinguish yourself and introduce you to new dishes and combinations. I'll be back to try other things. :)
