They have two kids in the dining room who, poor things, do what they can, but they don't know how to manage the dining room. The owners are arrogant and the atmosphere is claustrophobic.

15/01/2026: Simply excellent experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness, friendliness, and great professionalism. The staff was impeccable and completely impartial, despite our "young" age (21-22) compared to the quality of the restaurant—a detail that was far from expected and truly appreciated. The display of meat cuts was a wonderful idea. Excellent attention to detail, too, like the sterilized towels in the bathroom. The quality of the service and products was simply excellent: everything was carefully prepared, the flavors extraordinary, and the timing perfect. 5/5☆ well deserved. We'll definitely be back!

25/10/2025: Shameful!!!! Terrible service!!! We were literally kicked out after paying an exorbitant bill and not eating anything. If you're in Gioia del Colle, don't stop at Mastrovito.

12/10/2025: Unfortunately, we had a less than satisfactory evening. From the truly excessive bill to the service. Their two-seater system, designed to increase their earnings, is inconvenient for those who arrive early. You have to hurry, and you end up eating with the people waiting in the dining room next to your table. I personally don't recommend it; there are other butcher shops that are less impressive and very good.

The owners also stood out: after an initial missed call, they called us back personally and held our table for us. In particular, the great customer care from all the staff, owners and employees, was evident, especially in the service.

15/01/2026: I'd like to express my immense gratitude to La Tradizione - Fornello Pugliese. We came from Warsaw to meet our Italian family, and although we've visited many places, this one will forever remain in our hearts! The quality of the meat is incredible! Nothing in the truffle tartare covered the authentic flavor of the raw material. The steaks were served exactly as we requested. The portions are incredibly generous... When they brought us the veal strips with arugula, I was amazed by the size of the plate... Lemon was the only thing I wanted to add to that work of art, and it was already there on the plate! Honestly, when the truffle meatballs arrived, I was already on edge... but of course I had to try that masterpiece. Like everything else: phenomenal! Excellent beer and quality white and rosé wines. We ended the evening with dessert. I don't even remember what we ordered exactly, but I'm sure any of their desserts are 10/10! A special thanks goes to the staff. The waiters and the guys at the meat counter were incredibly kind. They treated us like old friends! Thank you so much. When I'm back in the area, I'll definitely come visit you! 22/01/2026: Everything was delicious; the meat was cooked to perfection, so tasty you could cut it with a breadstick, and the bombette were amazing. The side dishes were delicious, the place was clean and quaint, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Try it and believe it.

15/12/2025: I liked this restaurant so much! You can choose by the butcher's counter among a wide and amazing variety of fresh meat and steaks, then you can sit down at your table and wait for your food to be wood-fired cooked and served!
